Don't order anything, this is a total scam website and company:
Ordered from them in 2021 and had no problem, and then ordered from them again in January 2024. However, having been chansing my order since then with promises of call backs, there is now a recorded message saying they have gone into liquidation.
Checked the gazette and they havent (yet), but the website still appears to be taking orders.
Absolutley seems like fraud to me, When I delved deeper seems like the company was only formed in March 2023.
Ive been calling for 2 days needing minor clarification but noone responds. Ridiculous don’t bother.
Great service, flooring and excellent value for money. I was very impressed with my purchase and the flooring looks superb ! 100% I will be using this company again soon and I strongly recommend.
As you can see from many other reviews this company clearly has no ethics or any aftercare customer service. We bought what was a very expensive rug as we were hoping that would mean a quality product. All along in the buying process we were not made aware of the fragile nature of the materials used. Even when we purchased anti stain guard as extra a stain appeared and looks like the rug has now been bleached. After many attempts to contact the company to see what could be done once they’d got their money they clearly did not want to know. I rarely write reviews but cannot allow my experience to affect others, please think more than twice before parting with your money to this company, I am still yet to receive a response or have any member of management willing to make any contact with me to discuss how this could be resolved
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If you think the customer reviews about late delivery are bad, they were the lucky ones. I ordered some seagrass carpet last year, and chose Knotistry because they say their carpets are natural - and therefore free from harmful chemicals. I bought enough carpet for 3 rooms, and it was the most expensive carpet I have ever purchased in my entire life, but thought it was worth it to protect the health of my family. First signs were not good: the carpets arrived without warning, my husband was at work (he could have stayed home if we had known), and there was only one delivery man. The rolls of carpet were huge, and I had no option but to help him, as I could see the protective packaging was already getting damaged and I dared not send him away, to return another day. The carpets were fitted in September, and at first I have to admit they looked good, but just 2 months after fitting, while I was hoovering one day, I noticed some dark areas on one of the carpets. At this point I suppose I should mention that when we fitted the carpets I noticed - in certain lights - that areas appeared a little dark, but I put it down to the natural nature of the carpet. Well, as it turns out, the natural nature is for seagrass carpet to go mouldy at the drop of a hat. Two months down the line I found myself crawling around on the carpet, noticing more and more areas turning black. When I took some photos, and enlarged them, the pictures were horrifying. I immediately contacted the company, and although the person I spoke to was polite, I could tell that they had no intention of helping me. Basically, they blamed the house, or the fact that I open the windows daily (allowing the damp air in!), but I have had a coir carpet in the bathroom for years, without the slightest sign of mould. As is often the case, I started looking online, and found lots of people saying that seagrass carpets go mouldy - but who would think to Google seagrass and mould in advance? It's not an obvious check to make. The previous carpeting, which was 20 years old, was in better condition than what we are now stuck with. Mould, if you don't already know, is not just a cosmetic issue, the spores it releases are highly toxic. I suggested to Knotistry that in the circumstances they should be prepared to replace the carpets or offer a refund (clearly seagrass carpets - at least the natural non-chemically treated ones) are not fit for use in a damp climate like the UK. So what was their suggestion? The company that prides itself on safe natural carpet, suggested that I use bleach to kill the mould, or worse still, a long-acting fungicide, to 'cure' the problem on a more permanent basis. It's a complete joke, not least because I suffer from a condition known as MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity), which is exactly why I did not fit a cheap c**p carpet in the first place.
All I can say is 'don't buy from this company'. They have no real interest in their customers, and if anything goes wrong you will not see them for dust.
Rug ordered July. Delivery September.
Nothing arrived. No communication. I phoned and emailed but no reply. Finally threatened CCJ and immediate response. Delivery offered for “early October”. I gave them to end of October.
Nothing arrived. No communication.
Another threat of CCJ got immediate response. This time I did not believe the offer of delivery.
Knotistry get 2 stars for refunding when asked.
In ordered two made to measure rugs on 13 May 2021 and still waiting (5 months). Timing indication when I ordered was 6 weeks.
Other than when I call them, I have only received one update in 5 months.
Explanation for the delay is that the material is out of stock, which I was not told until after I ordered/paid. I have been given four different dates for when the material will be delivered but on each date I am told that it will be an additional number of weeks.
Have been told this again today after being told last week that the rugs would be delivered to me this week.
The customer service has been polite and responsive to my calls (which is why I have given 2 stars instead of 1) but have not proactively given me updates.
Starting to wonder if this is a scam.
