She asked my child one question, and didn’t give my shy child a chance to answer. She said we had to re-schedule. If you’re working with kids obviously have patience. Zero stars.

My son has just completed his first course. He has loved it. He did the course with 5 other children online and they built up a good friendship group too. The tutor was always just a text message away if there was a problem with homework. He is already signed up for his next course.

I purchased the course for my two children, and we are enjoying it very much. I have noticed a significant improvement in their logical thinking, creativity, computer skills, and overall technological development. The teachers are highly qualified, attentive, and make the classes engaging and productive. In addition, the support team is efficient and always available whenever needed. We are very satisfied with the experience and would highly recommend the school without hesitation!

Creating AI generated kids is unethical and weird.

The course is amazing and it a lot of fun, the teacher explains things very well, supports communication and creativity. Children learn programming and computer skills though the course and along with that also online communication, toletance to others and respectful interactions. My son feels save to express himself in a foreign language because the enviroment in the class is super supporting.

We just got a contact with Kodland and had our first trial session with Sertab. She is an excellent professional in her area. Her approach towards our kid, finding different solutions according to our need / budget and following up from the begining until arranging the classes were perfect. Since we have not started the classes yet and until now what we experienced were quite good. I will contunie to share when we finalise the all classes. Thanks a lot Sertab hocam.

I am from the Netherlands, and I went to take this class with my mother, but after a few minutes the teacher said that I didn't know enough English. So that's why I wasn't allowed to take a trial lesson. I am very disappointed and sad.

A recruiter from this company reached out to me. Did you know that people working for this company in Canada make $6/hour for teaching lessons?
This is wildly illegal and there's no way you're getting a quality education for that price (the informational documents shared with me appeared to be AI generated and somehow were still full of grammar errors). Do you trust a company like that with your children?

Don't do the free trial class, which was effectively an hour long corporate hard sell. Buy now to secure your place, if that doesn't work, buy more to get a cheap price, then buy now to get this discount we just invented. If that doesn't work then just buy fewer lessons at a cheap, but comparetively inflated price. My child was very upset after what was an hour long intensive sales pitch.

It was fun to learn coding for practical staff like makong games. The teamwork and collaboration with the other chieldrens was as appreciated. Teachers are very good, proactive, encourage feedback and are able to make learning fun.

Scammers!! Do not get into this course! They ask you to pay in full up front and if you decide to not continue they keep your money!

Appear to be positive. Mannerisms good. Planned a 1hr trial lesson. After the 1.5 hr plus session which dresses up an underlining hard sales pitch with a fun graphic 10 to 15 minutes of coding to potentially hook the child in. The so called 'TRIAL' LESSON is clearly not a lesson but a way to catch the childs attention and force the parents to join. Luckily my child could take it or leave it. After the polite long ongoing sales pitch you are literally asked to confirm immediately or loose the discount price. I requested details to be forwarded to read up on the small print etc. The sales advisor (admin person) still kept repeating the 'sign up now to receive the best price pitch'.
All delivered politely and with smiles!
Anyone genuinely interested in their child's learning would naturally request further information to read and check the course through thoroughly, and then consider joining the classes. That immediately 'SIGN UP' to take full advantage of discounted prices is a 'RED FLAG'. CLEAR SALES PITCH. So sadly, it definitely looked fun and entertaining for a child, but in reality I'm not convinced on the authenticity of it all.
Further, reading these negative reviews confirms my suspicions.

I had a genuinely terrible experience working with Kodland from January to March… literally an experience I hope never to have again…
Firstly the recruitment process alone should have been a red flag. Had to spend around 10 hours of interviews, tasks, and back-and-forth communication — all completely unpaid with tasks like “act like a naughty student / act like a shy student etc” from time to time…. Apparently, Kodland considers applicants’ time to be free and unlimited..
Then came the actual “course”… The quality of the so to say “teaching materials” is extremely poor. As someone with an art degree and professional design experience, I can say the materials are shallow, outdated, with close-to-nothing real value.
It is simply designed to extract money from parents rather than to genuinely educate students. Proof to that can be that I was assigned a 17-year-old to a program meant for ages 10–12, which clearly shows an impressive lack of care for student placement.
The workload is equally misleading. You are expected to spend a significant amount of unpaid time outside of lessons on calls, coordination, and discussions. Work-life balance is simply not a concept here...
And then there is the payment — easily the worst part of the entire experience. I received my February salary only in mid-April, after more than a month of trying to reach literally anyone and only after explicitly stating that I would take legal action. The only person who ever responded was HR, who replied LITERALLY once a week, ignored most of my messages, and consistently failed to answer even basic questions. In other words, getting paid felt less like a standard process and more like a persistence test.
Overall, Kodland presents itself as an educational platform, but in reality operates in a way that disregards both teachers and students. If you value your time, your work, and actually getting paid for it — stay away.
