As a first time expat buyer, their support has been invaluable to navigate the Danish real estate market and procedures. Mathias and Vita have been incredibly patient, thorough and helpful at every step, and across the last 3 months of my house hunt, from the first apartment screening and visit, negotiating the deal, recommending a construction expert and finalizing the purchase. They are too busy with many clients, in my opinion more than they can handle. They know what they do but risk the deals closure by using "real state agent" tricks in order to save time in their favour.

Overall good experience but commercial profit for them is put clearly above deals

We had a mixed experience with Købersmagler. The free advice and advice prior to buying the house was super helpful and friendly. We really loved our Rådgiver.

However, once we were passed on to the lawyer team we did not have a very good connection with the lawyer. We found her to be rude and abrupt on occasions, as well as not very clear in her communication with us. It would have been nice to be able to meet the lawyer earlier as we perhaps would have chosen someone else.

That being said, the actual advice and work the lawyer did was great. The process of purchasing the house went incredibly smoothly which we are grateful for. We had to do no tedious reading of documents etc. and she gave good explanations of what we were signing.

So overall, we are grateful for their help.

I was recommended Købersmægler by my bank and chose the standard package for 8500 DKK because of the stellar reviews here on trustpilot.

However, the experience my girlfriend and I had was not according to our expectations.

Our advisor refused to answer any questions before the only scheduled meeting, which was 31 hours before advisor-reservation would expire.

During this meeting, I found some of the presented numbers regarding the owners association very worrying. When asking why these numbers were significantly different from what I would expect, our advisor became very angry and defensive.

"Well then you probably just shouldn't be buying an appartment because this is how it is!" she angrily explaimed.

The meeting really deteriorated the trust and we felt that she was more concerned that the deal would not go through - in which case Købersmægler does not get paid - than she was regarding the worrying numbers.

I had to take it upon myself to call both realtor and owners association to figure out why the numbers seemed way off.

If I could start over, I would probably not have chosen Købersmægler.

I can fully recommend Koebersmaegler to support with the process of buying a house. Especially when you’re not fully comfortable with Danish language, they made sure to explain all documentation, contracts and processes.
