Love both soft and firm cables
I had already purchased a set of soft cable circulars. I do love them but found I needed a firmer cable for TAAT sock knitting. I absolutely love the square needles! They are lovely to use!
The soft cable, in my opinion, would be better for a single knitting item rather than 2 using magic loop. I really liked the feel of the soft cable but it is easier to push the socks along the cord to the needles with the firm cable.

Excellent customer service.
First cable seemed to have a defect but customer service was very responsive. A new cable was provided very quickly.

Fewer dropped stitches
I can't say for sure these needles are easier on my hands but it seems to me I was able to knit a lot longer without my hands getting sore. I tend to knit quickly, and I found the square needles resulted in fewer dropped stitches, so I definitely recommend them. I am planning to purchase a 6mm pair to see if they help reduce my hand pain when I knit with heavier yarns.
