Large collection of routes made by other cyclists and Komoot offers the option to create your own route. So it is a great source of possible routes to ride. And you can register any route you’ve been cycling (or walking).

I use Komoot as a tool for planing and composing routes. It is very useful to be able to se distances and reliefs and then to send these routes as an invitation to friends.

Great to tool for creating routes. Options for hiking, road cycling, gravel cycling (and more). A choice of the fastest, scenic or quiet route. You just need to add a starting point and end point and app will create s route which is easily adjustable if you want to pass though specific areas you just need to leep adding new end points. It gives warning for areas where cycling is not allowed or if there are steps involved. The map is pretty accurate. There are minor discrepancies in off road areas such as woodlands but never big enough to get me lost. There are also routes made by other user available. And much more. Have been using Komoot for 2 years regularly, the free version. Very pleased with it.

Komoot was never a great app, but it used to be good enough. Since the acquisition, however, it’s become far too expensive for what it offers.

The route planning experience is frustrating. The navigation feels cumbersome, and the recommendation engine seems to have no contextual understanding. It keeps suggesting tours 20 km away from the area I’m planning in, or recommends a different activity than the one I’ve already selected.

The value for money just isn’t there anymore. Disappointing.

I absolutely love using Komoot and am just so grateful for this app! No matter where I am, I often search completely spontaneously for hikes or bike trails, and there are truly options in every single corner of the world.
Thanks to this app, I’ve already discovered sooooo many real hidden gems and experienced beautiful moments. The community of like-minded people is just amazing; everyone shares their tips, and the photos included with the tours are great for getting a clear idea beforehand. The navigation—whether online or offline—also works absolutely brilliantly. For me, it's the best outdoor app out there! Highly recommended!

Terrible assistance based on LLM that did not address my simple information request, it kept asking if the issue was solved, and send me the same request of information over and over even if I provided them in a clear and structured manner.

Komoot works very well to plan a trip according to to type of cycling you want to do. The annoying things is it keeps asking me to rate the blooming thing!!!!
