I contacted Kompass after Google incorrectly linked them to a mobile number I was searching for. The person I spoke with was very friendly and took the time to explain that this looks to be a broader issue caused by Google where Google are wrongly associating unmatched mobile numbers from their search engine with company listings on websites such like their own.
They explained that this problem has affected multiple companies, not just Kompass, and that Kompass is already in discussions with Google to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible. The explanation was clear and reassuring, and they were happy to answer my questions.
Based on my experience, I’d encourage anyone with concerns to contact Kompass directly before drawing conclusions.
