I recently used Kongtrans for my house move within the UK, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Due to work commitments, I absolutely had to move on a Thursday—but the confirmation from my new place's agent was painfully delayed. Most companies would have asked me to lock in the date well in advance (understandably so), but Kongtrans was incredibly accommodating. They were willing to wait for my final go-ahead until Wednesday—just one day before the move. I honestly don't think many companies would be that flexible. Their understanding and patience really stood out, and I’m beyond grateful.

(Side note: I don’t recommend anyone else doing what I did. Please confirm your bookings as early as possible. Last-minute changes are never ideal and can cause huge inconvenience to the movers. I was just really lucky that Kongtrans was so kind and professional.)

On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork. The movers rang me early to let me know their estimated arrival time, and they showed up right on time, no delays, no stress.

The moving team were all from Hong Kong, and they were lovely, really friendly, chatty, and professional. Their work was fast but super tidy and careful. They wrapped the mattress securely, and took great care with my computer desk and cabinets. What truly amazed me was how carefully they packed my monitor, down to every detail. I hadn’t detached the arms from the screen, which they flagged as a safety concern. Instead of just shrugging it off, they went ahead and removed the arms for me, packed them separately, and made sure everything was secure and protected.

That level of attention to detail is something I’ve never seen from a moving company. They didn’t cut corners, and they clearly cared about doing the job right. It honestly felt like they were handling their own belongings.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with the experience. Kongtrans is thoughtful, efficient, and genuinely in a class of their own.
