The product addresses a need created by MyQ and works pretty well. Need documentation on integration with Homeseer.

Konnected resurrected a wired system installed in my house when it was built 30 years ago that had never been used. We went from "what are all those wires?" to operational with very little investment or effort. Installation was easy and straightforward, and now we have a very functional and reliable security system.

I did not give 4 stars because there were no stand offs/mounting feet with the expansion board I ordered, that is a little cheap. Now I will have to run around to try and find some or place an other order with you guys and wait before I can complete the installation!

The product is good, the delivery is ok but it is not as good as what I hoped.
I have used konnected pro interface for an alarm managed by home assistant.
Even if this product is advertised as an "alarm system" it should be advertised as an "input output" interface for HA.
Don't get me wrong, the product does what it says it does, but not what the title implies:
- only 12 zones (inputs) that do not support "two voltages input" with tampering loops. (thus each loop takes one zone) . It could easily be implemented in hardware behind an abstraction
- the outputs are only NO with n-channel mosfets => it is not compatible with the vast majority of sirens that are present in europe (thus, you must use a dedicated relay with NC circuit)
- the board doesn't take any of the control logic, HA does all the work.
- there are no mounting hardware included (only some weak duble side adhesive)

All in all, the product is good, the product is working nicely but the price point is not competitive. A generic HA board is more than twice cheaper, as easy to use with the same functionalities. I hope the next generation will more focus on the needs for an alarm system.

I had gotten on the the GDO Blaqs as a birthday gift and had some problems getting it working, the team at Konnected worked with me everyday for about a week and even generated a new firmware to try and correct the issue. When all else failed they sent me a new one and it worked instantly! I wa so thrilled I ordered another one for my second garage door and it worked immediately to!

I was initially drawn to konnected because of their innovative solutions, but I'm writing this review because their support after the sale was even better than their great tech! Awesome solutions. Fantastic documentation and tech support. Highly recommend!

Easy to purchase and install. The app found the device right away and I was able to start setting up alerts from Alexa right away. I found that Home Assistant gave me more visibility and control of notifications so I did switch away from Alexa.

Good service, speedy replies

Great response times to inquiries. I upgraded from the very early kit that was developed to a 12 zone and the installation is much cleaner and with integration to cloud it’s almost seamless. Love it!

The only feedback I would give is to make it clear that the original adt panel and power supply can be used in the documentation with the new panels. I found it to be contradictory/ unclear although I am pretty hands on.

I don't understand how they can even call it an alarm system since it doesn't include any alarm logic. The use of an external home automation platform with alarm system logic is mandatory.
IT IS NOT A STANDALONE PRODUCT. IT REQUIRES AN AUTOMATION PLATFORM, WHICH ALSO MEANS A ROUTER TO CONNECT BOTH, AND, OF COURSE, A LARGE UPS TO SUPPORT POWER OUTAGES.

Everything worked as promised wonderful

Easy to wire up. I am using Konnected for a new alarm system and not an existing one,
Was easy to set up, support response is quick, no complaints.

Awesome. Helped me diagnose and replace a part for my system. They ordered and shipped the part very quickly all without charge as it was under warranty.

When getting rid of my landline I was given an ultimatum by my alarm company (which had bought out my original alarm company), "upgrade and pay us more per month for newer equipment or we won't help you with a cell dialer." After some research, I felt konnected provided the best option so I could tell the alarm company to go away. Best things about konnected are the price, ability to add additional boards and zones anywhere needed, an extensive online database to help with installation, and compatibility with your existing wired sensors and sirens. However, be aware this is not a direct replacement for the user experience you'd get with an alarm company. You need some basic alarm tech skills (I used to help a friend who was an alarm tech with installs) to get things up and running, then come the compromises and home-engineered solutions, because with konnected there are no keypads. Konnected is heavily dependent on everyone in the home using their smartphone to operate the system, which makes sense since you're probably self-monitoring anyway. If everyone in your home is okay with keeping their location services on, you can use geolocation to automatically arm and disarm the system and never think about it. However everyone in your home has to be onboard, otherwise you have to compromise and/or find other solutions. Want a beep for when a door or window is opened? No problem, although it might take a day to figure out how to make it work. Want a keypad that allows exit and entry delays? Well, I'm still working on getting an old iPad to work as my keypad (wall mounts and power solutions are limited), and while I've got the entry delay working I still haven't found a way to allow an exit delay. And I can't get one member of my household to even install the required app on their phone, which is why I'm having to install the keypad!!! Bottom line though, if you're looking for an alternative to monitored alarm companies overpricing their value and equipment, and want a wired alarm system and not some collection of battery-powered sensors, I think konnected is the best solution available. Just please come up with a keypad and I'll give you five stars...

Customer support and response time is amazing, thank you! They identified helped me understand that the kit I purchased was not right for my house and was willing to swap out the components for the right system. This was my error, however they made it right at no charge to me! Thank you Konneced :-)
