I have ordered from this website so…

I have ordered from this website so much over the past year. But lately they have been the absolute WORST.

1. I have sent numerous emails through their website asking when a specific item may be back in stock or if it will be back in stock. I have NEVER received a response.

2. My orders are taking ridiculously long to ship out now. I have to keep emailing them through my order history, when this order will ship? When will this order ship? What about this one? They take weeks and weeks to ship out orders, even when they are already in stock and are not a pre-order item. Then they reply saying it will be shipping soon and within 2 days of my complaining about why it's taking long, THEN AND ONLY THEN, does it finally ship.

3. I have placed a pre-order on July 11 for an item that was to be back ins tock on Aug 30. It is now September 10 in Korea and the item still has NOT shipped out. I opened a case on paypal because they don't respond to emails and have deactivated my account (we'll get to that in number 4). Only now that I have opened a case with paypal, they have sent me an email that the item has shipped.

4. I placed an order for several items that amounted to nearly $102 USD. 2 days after I placed the order, I contacted them through their website via my order history, to cancel the entire order and to please do so in a timely manner, as some of the items were pre-order and I did not want them to take forever to respond like they always do, and then tell me it's now too late because it's already been shipped. I had to contact them TWO TIMES because in 2 days from the first request to cancel, I still did not receive a response. I had made sure to email them directly and through the website for documentation purposes showing that I contacted them well in advance to cancel my order for refund. Well almost after 3 days I receive a response and they tell me some of the items are already on the way to their warehouse. I told them that's too bad because I had contacted them days ago, and if they ever bothered to check their emails they wouldn't have started sending it to the warehouse. (Not to mention when have they EVER started sending out orders that quickly? NEVER!) The pre-order items still have not been ordered so there was no issue to cancel that, and the other items are already items they had in stock. So it's really their fault if they have to send it back to their stock room or where ever it's coming from. After they tried to get me to keep part of my order, I refused and they refunded me the whole order. It took several days for their "accounting" staff to refund me through paypal. Then another several days for the payment to reach my credit card.

Several days after they canceled my order, they deactivated my kpoptown account, even though I still had TWO open orders that have not shipped. (One I mentioned above that I opened a case for).

Overall, they lack the professional skills that any company should have when running a business. They never answer emails in a timely manner or sometimes not at all. They then complain no one is there on the weekend but even when Monday comes around, they still have not gotten back to me, even when we are now speaking on a Tuesday. It was completely unprofessional to close my account when I still had orders open (which is why I ended up opening a case with Paypal).

I still have one more order that is supposed to come in stock today, as it was a pre-order item. If it does not ship in the next 2-3 business days, I will be opening a case on paypal for that as well. I will NEVER shop with them again (because I have another account with them that I can log into if I wanted to, but I would never want to give them my money ever again). I recommend others to shop with Ktown4U which is much more professional and runs their business 100x better than Kpoptown. They need to get it together or close down.

Never again...

I've ordered from them several times but I don't think I will ever again..
It's been too much trouble to be worth it and they only answer emails when they can say that they are right and I'm wrong.

One thing I ordered I in the end had to wait almost 8 months to get because it was gone for a really long time and then it was apparently sent back to them..

To get it sent again I had to pay the shipping again plus like 3 usd extra..

Another package the tube with the poster got sent back to them and I had to again pay the shipping again!...

And now yet again the poster got sent back.. I really don't wanna pay again and I'm annoyed this keeps happening.

They told me to contact the post office here in Sweden and sent me a picture of the note on the tube.

I did and guess what?? The post office says that Kpoptown missed writing some information on the package that had to be there..

I told Kpop about it and they just replied that they put everything that has to be there and that this it the first time this has happened so they can't do anything.

I replied that this is Not the first time this happened and not they haven't replied in over two months even though I keep sending emails and messages via my order history on the web page.

I swear they would answer if I wrote I will pay them..

Sucks cuz I Really want the poster, the poster that I've PAID for... They aren't even asking if I want a refund for the poster.. They are just gone, like always when they are in the wrong...

So if you read this Kpoptown, check your email and send me my poster please!

my first experience in ordering in this…

my first experience in ordering in this page is good.
My order arrived very well wrapped and the products in really good conditions and quality, I'm so happy for that.
BUT
The same day I ordered from them, few hours later someone tried to HACKED my mail ?!!! ( it's been years since I've experienced something like that) and I could see the place is Korea/Rusland !!!

I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but now I'm not sure if I could trust this page !! tho. I love the items they have but I really scary if someone will try to hack my mail again if I order.

My go-to kpop store!

Kpoptown has been my go-to store for kpop merch and albums since 2013. Never had any issues with them! They ship orders in time, and their prices are very affordable. Shipping for me has always taken 1-2 weeks which is quicker than most kpop online stores I've purchased from in the post. For the many years I've purchased from them, their service has always been at its peak and they keep their professionalism. I highly recommend them to both new and old kpop fans! :)

Terrible Customer Service

They made a mistake and sent me 6 wrong items, and now they won't reply to my emails about it. I've been emailing for the past 6 months. Terrible customer service. And I know they're getting the emails, because if I use a different account to message them, they reply just fine. As soon as I ask about an exchange or refund, they immediately stop replying. I'm never ordering from them again, and I advise that you don't either.

Favorite Kpop online store

They're very responsive and they answer all my questions... I've ordered many times from them (albums, lightsticks,DVDs...) and all arrived very well packed and in perfect condition. Also the shipping is very fast even though I choose the cheapest shipping. I highly recommend buying merch from kpoptown especially that all the merch are 100% official.

I bought the last Bts albums on…

I bought the last Bts albums on Kpoptown, although I had read some negative reviews on the internet.
The package arrived in the estimated time (departed from South Korea on August 15th and delivered to me in Italy on May 15th), in perfect conditions. Together with the albums, I also ordered 4 posters, delivered to me inside the same box of the CDs, enclosed in a rigid cardboard roll.
5 stars deserved.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have actually lost count of the amount of orders I've placed with Kpoptown over the last year. Every single time I've been kept informed of my order status, when it's in progress, when it's shipped etc. All my orders have arrived quickly from South Korea to me in UK, they were well packaged and in excellent condition. EVERY TIME! I don't use anyone else when it comes to K-pop merch. I highly recommend Kpoptown to anyone and everyone. If I could leave more than 5* I would.

I didn't get my package after waiting…

I didn't get my package after waiting for one f** month only to be informed that it got sent back so i asked for a refund which they didn't want to comply in a first moment, after my various requests they finally promised to refund me within six days.
Today after two months they're nowhere to be seen and wouldn't even reply back to my emails yikes ... they scammed me 45$++ I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM EVER AGAIN anywhere would be better than them!! I never had problems with Yesasia and from now on i will only buy from them!

Anyway i've opened a dispute on paypal we'll see who'll win at the end disgusting thiefs.

I can say nothing negative about my first experience with Kpoptown. I ordered an Army Bomb ver.3 with the cheapest shipping that was meant to take 2-4 weeks. My package came in one week which I was very happy about!! Everything with the package was fine: it was wrapped in bubble wrap and nothing at all was damaged-the box was in perfect condition. It is also 100% the official army bomb, the bluetooth worked just fine.

If you live anywhere in the UK

If you live anywhere in the UK, cut the slack and instead order from amazon or ebay. The shipping is TERRIBLE because i've been waiting a month for my package to arrive and they carry on saying its in transit.

I am so annoyed because its going to take another 2 weeks. I was quite patient as I heard that shipping only took 2 weeks, yet i have been waiting for a MONTH and just now they tell me they shipped it.

Please, do NOT order from here.

Very good first experience!

It was a great experience in my first time ordering in this page, they were very helpful when I wrote for a question, but sometimes they didn't answered.
However it was a very good service, the package delayed a bit more than the estimated time, nevertheless we have to take into account the distance, from Korea to Colombia it's a great journey.
The box arrived very well wrapped and the products in really good conditions and quality, I really recommend it; use kpoptown!

Great 1st time Experience with KPOPTOWN

Ordered BT21 Reebok Royal Bridge 2.0 CHIMMY

Ordered on Dec 22 2018, they didn't ship them until Dec 31, which with the Holidays etc, I'm ok with that. Once they were shipped it took 7 days to arrive at my door, which isn't bad at all coming from South Korea to the U.S.A. I did have to contact them for a Tracking numer, but they responded quickly with a number for me and I was able to track it all the way through the delivery process.

Very happy with my purchase, shipping is high but I wanted to be able to track it for piece of mind! Packaging was done well and was secure.

This is the first time I have ever ordered from Kpoptown or any kpop website, and it was a recommendation from a stranger on Instagram, because I could not order these from the Official Reebok.kr site! Sincerely, 47 Year Old ARMY! 💜

damaged and mixed up!

I was so excited to open the albums I had been waiting for on Christmas Day but was shocked and disappointed as my expectations weren't met. I pre-ordered one of the The Boyz 'The Only' albums in November along with some other albums and a pillow . These all came in the expected two or so weeks but I held on unboxing them until Christmas Day. The two other albums and pillow ordered where in great condition but the The Boyz one had dents, bent edges and the seal (for the image on the front cover, not the plastic seal 'protecting it') ripped and torn. I then later found out that they mixed up the pre-orders and sent the postcards and photo card meant for one of the other albums (that got released a month prior to ordering) instead of my The Boyz one pre-order goods. Now I have to contact them and see what we can do about the situation. :(

ordered 30+ albums from them

I trust them a lot.

so i was reading previous reviews on here most good but some 1 star (smh) first of all ive ordered many things from kpoptown because i trust them a lot. in the beginning i was skeptical but i think ive been using them for well over 2 years now and ive only ever had 1 or 2 issues with shipping but EVERYTHING was sorted and i got a refund voucher for the price of the album that got lost, but before that issue id ordered lots of albums before with no trouble. All i did when i was concerned was email them and they got back within 2-4 days, explaining that there was an issue with the ship out date for the magazine but when i lost the album i had bought i was told to wait but after it never came i emailed them again and like i said they gave a full refund in the form of a voucher for the price of the album. so customer service is good but is slow if you aren't patient to wait.

I used to order small packet because its cheaper but they recently added kpacket which comes with tracking and is a little faster (i live in GB) but both methods are just as good.

Ive not only ordered albums but ive bought magazines, lightsticks slogans and a Kakao plushie.... you name it ive bought it from them.

so in conclusion i trust them and as a business they have my trust. dont listen to people whi have tried them once and had a bad experience I have two years worth of purchases from them and they've all been successful.

4 purchases this year, happy Kpop fan

I'm new to Kpop this year and I decided to give Kpoptown a try after seeing that their prices were significantly cheaper. Although I hadn't even started my CD collection yet, I bought a concert DVD. I got a dispatch email within a couple of days and it arrived at my doorstep roughly a week and a half later. I was impressed! I did pay for fast shipping and a tracking number (which cost a whopping £10), but being from Korea I still expected it to take a while, so I was very happy to receive it so quickly. I ordered another concert and again, received it in less than 2 weeks. A third concert (I know, loads of concerts before even starting on CDs), and once again a quick dispatch and arrival!

I then decided to move on to CDs, in full confidence that Kpoptown would deliver. However, days went by with no dispatch email. I started to get a little stressed as I read other people's experiences with Kpoptown (and other stores) taking a long time to ship because one item turned out to be out of stock (and the buyer was not informed until they inquired themselves, only then were they offered refunds). I also read that their customer service was poor. But, on day 8 I finally got a dispatch email, and received the CDs just under a week and a half later. Packaged well in lots of protective material.

I worried unnecessarily that I would start to have problems with Kpoptown as some others have. But so far, I've been very happy. The CDs took almost a week longer to ship out, for whatever reason, but I would recommend Kpoptown as they are a large, legitimate company and CD sales do count on the Korean Hanteo and Gaon charts (so you can support your favourite - sorry, your bias), and although shipping is expensive, it arrives fairly quickly. (I'm in the UK.) Concert DVDs are all regions and even with old albums I got photocards (wasn't sure if I would or not as they were years old). I'm going to try out another company next, but Kpoptown is on my tick list.

I was working when big hit released pre-order for the army bomb version 3. So it was sold by the time I could try to order, I looked at sellers on the internet but I wanted to be sure of getting an official one all the places I knew I could trust were sold out - then I found them on pre-order at kpoptown, I had never used the site before so I was a bit worried but me and my daughter were going to see BTS in October and we needed the latest interactive Army bomb. So I took a chance and ordered two hoping they would get stock in time, I paid extra for express shipping and well it certainly was express, they said they would be sending it out early September they dispatched 1st Sept!!! And it arrived pretty quick! 100% official. I was worried about some reviews saying they received items damaged but these were perfectly packaged, got great communication from the store regards to dispatch and the tracking was great! Super happy and would definitely use the store again ! 😀

My experience

I’ve personally never had a problem with this store. I’ve ordered quite a few albums off of here and have had nothing bad happen.
What I’ve gathered is that pre-ordering albums can take a long time unfortunately, and another negative is their shipping. I can’t understand paying near $14 (aud) in shipping for one album when it can come in 10-30 days.

In short, I’ve never had a problem but the shipping is too much for how long it can take.
