A beautiful idea, absolutely destroyed for any serious use by massive ubiquitous censorship at every level of any of the tools beyond all reason. I don’t know who the first person was who had a “bright“ idea that censorship belonged anywhere near a creative tool, but I do think they should be tried for crimes against humanity… extreme prejudice, and censorship in a creative tool means that it’s no longer a creative tool. What good is an infinitely creative palette if you were prevented from actually using it and free associating… People who make these things should learn a little something about creativity and what it is because the really Maule adaptive part about it is that they’re destroying the highest value of their own product at the same time destroying the very foundation of adaptation and thinking beyond any and all boundaries. Censorship has never been put in a creative tool in history and furthermore, there’s good reason for that. The same reason why evolution has not gotten rid of random mutation in 4 billion years, even though it built an eye… Doesn’t take much thought to understand that censorship and creativity are opposite even if you love censorship does not belong in my home in my personal work that I am doing for my own reasons. Period.

The other thing that I noticed is that the levels of membership they offer are absolutely stunningly inadequate. I mean they’re not even close to what normal usage would allow. This makes it so expensive to do anything serious on that platform that I cannot use it for this reason as well. I’ve made over 100,000 images among other things on this platform and it’s cost me so much money. It’s astronomical I could’ve bought my own computer system for that a very nice one so to give you an example I could easily use 20,000 units in a day, and 20,000 units are given to you in a MONTH and one of their highest tears of membership. I have estimated that normal use for me would probably hover somewhere between 200,000 and 300,000 compute units a month this would mean that I would have to pay 100s of dollars a month some of the plans offer only 10,000 units which you could use up and literally an hour or two no problem. I’m not talking about using the most expensive external platforms through theirs either – I’m talking about using things they provide like the upscaling and the editing in the training, Laura, etc. all of those things are absolutely awesome. I love their upscaling more than any other platform I’ve used. I think that’s one of their strong points.

So I put three stars and it’s probably generous for something that has so much potential and it has the absolutely diabolical quality of stopping you from using that potential any way they can… they definitely overstep all moral and privacy boundaries of history or reason and I probably shouldn’t even have given them any stars because I feel like those things are so important.

I use security software to stop ransom somewhere and other things that could ruin my work, to put it in perspective. I’m paying them a shit ton of money as this it was run at ransom ware, but they still ruined my work… I basically use Krea just for certain elements that I know it can do well, I like how it set up, I mean, there are a lot of things I like about it, it’s unfortunate that they are preventing me from using it. I fully understand that they are not the only ones doing this absolutely mind-boggling dangerous and stupid censorship of a creative process… it’s bad for mental health. It’s bad for being able to adapt to new things and thinking new ways. I mean everything about it is just absolutely horrific.

So hopefully one day soon, these AI companies will understand that human creativity is one of the things, maybe the only thing that truly marks humans as unique. That they are using AI to directly attack the app I think, speaks volumes of the ignorance of the people operating these companies.

Still, I would recommend them because so many platforms have implemented censorship. I only know if one platform on earth that actually offers no censorship and believe me I’ve made hundreds of thousands of images there because you can do it without worrying, you can do it without trying to think as hard as you can how some depraved hormone soaked adolescent might view the beautiful art you’re trying to make… I just really don’t like thinking about those things, my work is very symbolic and transcendent, and sometimes it takes me a day or two – and I’m very smart – to fully understand what possible element of what I was trying to do cause it to be blocked… It’s just so insane that I’ve just spend days thinking about depraved things just to use a simple creative tool. This is why I say it’s like a crime against humanity that they can get into your brain offer you something that you’ve only dreamed of and then… ya.

could be a nice Tool but as AI generation ist very slow on some days it is not useful.

Poor quality of LoRA and other things, there are lot of other solutions

False advertising – Unlimited Seedance is a scam

Never heard of this company, yet they managed to charge $9 to my credit card. Now, my current CC is disabled, a new one will arrive in 2 days; then I have to update all my autopay accounts. Is this AI company being abused to hack credit cards??

Censorship. Bad local censorship makes using this service very stressful. I would leave a better review without it.

I am writing this review to document a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with Krea AI, specifically regarding their advertised promotion for Seedance 2.0.

I purchased a subscription on April 16 under the understanding that I would receive unlimited access to Seedance 2.0 as part of a promotional offer. That promise was a major factor in my decision to subscribe. However, from the moment I began using the service, the promotion never functioned as advertised.

Instead of unlimited usage, the system immediately began deducting credits from my account every time I attempted to generate content using Seedance 2.0. This directly contradicted the terms of the promotion.

What followed was even more troubling.

I spent two full days trying to get assistance. During that time, I received little to no meaningful support. Eventually, a representative told me the issue had been resolved and that everything would now work properly.

It did not.

When I returned to the platform and attempted to use Seedance again, the system consumed over 1,000 credits in a single session. When I went back to Discord support to report the problem, I was told:

“The promo is over.”

That response was unacceptable.

The promotion never worked for me in the first place. I signed up on April 16 specifically because of that offer. Telling a customer that the promotion is over, after it never functioned as promised, is not a solution. It is a dismissal.

What made the situation worse was the tone of the response. Instead of attempting to fix the issue, provide compensation, or even acknowledge the problem, the interaction ended with a casual thumbs-up reaction. That came across as dismissive and unprofessional.

At that point, I made the decision to cancel my subscription.

Why This Experience Was So Frustrating

1. The promotion was a key selling point
2. The advertised benefit never worked
3. Credits were still deducted despite the “unlimited” claim
4. Support took days to respond
5. The final response shifted responsibility instead of resolving the issue
6. No refund, credit restoration, or meaningful help was offered

This sequence of events created the impression that the promotion was poorly implemented, poorly supported, or misrepresented.

My Bottom Line

I signed up because of a specific promise: unlimited access to Seedance 2.0.

That promise was never honored.

Instead, I lost credits, lost time, and received minimal support. Being told that the promotion had ended, when it never worked to begin with, felt dishonest and dismissive.

Because of this experience, I chose to cancel my subscription.

Tried to use the enhancer.
It did *not* enhance at all.
Instead it just applied some weird filter regardless of the settings making the whole image completely unusable.

Sure that was the free tier, but at least give me *one* enhancement with a good model so that I can judge the tool

My subscription was canceled due to a payment issue during renewal, even though I had ensured everything was in place on my side. Since then, I’ve been asked to subscribe again for almost double the price.

It’s disappointing, as it turns what felt like a smooth and reliable experience into something that ultimately failed. I would have happily continued otherwise.

Given these conditions, it might make more sense to use the underlying AI tools directly rather than going through an additional subscription layer.

Something to keep in mind if you’re considering subscribing.

They are criminal thieves and scammers. They do not let you close your accound and try to continuously charge you non stop. They do not answer support and laugh at the situation.

The credit system is confusing and poorly designed, generation speed is slow even on lighter models, and customer support is largely unresponsive. The interface is unintuitive and appears intentionally structured in a way that makes it hard to predict how many credits will be charged. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Paid one month basic, had 5k credits, I stopped my subscription so they removed my left over 3,800 unused. This is their official business practice model agreement. Stay away from these types of AI sites. The website has Terribly unprofessional UI layout and clearly desperate to spend your credits on everything you click, seriously shop around first and just skip this site

Completely useless for creating 3D models out of images.

I have no background in graphic design and am easily overwhelmed with too many options, so I think Krea was not for me. I wish I were younger, as I feel like younger generations would have a better learning curve for apps like this. Also they have more time than adults!! Lol. But I had an issue come up with billing and they resolved it completely for me, so A++ on customer service. I would recommend but maybe plan to spend the time needed to learn the program.

I was looking for a free ai to remove text from my image and being completely honest Krea was the only one that gave an image where it was not at all noticeable that there was something there before. every single other website on the top search gave a blurred area but Krea's was completely perfect. And for it to be free too? Really Thanks. Grateful. I really hate how Krea has low reviews. Hope they get the attention they deserve!!

We had a renewal that was accidently charged to an incorrect credit card. David processed a refund the very next day after we reached out. Thanks!

We have sent multiple emails and have not received a single response. Krea is also completely unreachable via Instagram. This lack of communication is unacceptable.

In addition, the app itself is extremely confusing and poorly designed, making it very difficult to navigate or manage subscriptions properly.

How are we supposed to cancel our subscription under these circumstances? Either respond to our emails immediately or provide a clear, reliable way to contact your support team. This situation is unacceptable and must be resolved without further delay.

Krea's colorizer was great, but now completely spoiled by over-saturated colours and AI-slop, artifial looking results. Since Xmas 2025 they have added an unacceptable creative layer. Realistic colorization results no longer appear.
