While the shipping process took a little time this time, I am in another country and I understand everything is a bit slow right now. This has nothing to do with Kristina's business.
Aside from that, the product - Kennedy by Estetica in Chromert1B - is perfect! And the packaging and thoughtfulness of Kristina to include some little gifts, made my day. Thank you Kristina!
Again, when I have questions about color or style, she always gets back to me. Please know that this is a small business and it may take some time but she does respond. Sometimes I think in today's world, many need everything "right now" and it just isn't feasible in many markets.
Anyway, I highly recommend Kristina Young Hair Additions. The products are always top notch, which is not always the case with online shopping. And her customer service is also worthy of 5 stars.

customer service lacking but products great
I loved my topper from the clearance section, was exactly how described and packaged beautifully, however i have been waiting for a refund on the VAT relief since 9th May, i've checked my bank and although i have chased via email and wats app, i have had no responses at all and no refund, can this be rectified ASAP , its the customer service that seems rather lacking unfortunately which is a shame as the videos on You tube are a great asset as is the choice of products on your website

As per the information on our VAT Relief page VAT refunds will be issued within one month.
You placed your order with us before we had the opportunity to process your VAT relief form and set your customer account to be VAT exempt. As per the information on our VAT Relief page it takes up to 2 business days. We can issue VAT refunds after orders have been placed, however, the process is simpler if customers take the time to read all the relevant information available to them on the website prior to placing an order.

Yet again I have emailed this company regarding my dissatisfaction of my wig purchase, the customer service is terrible! I have asked to return my wig as it is not keeping its original style after washing with the appropriate products. Hopefully I will have some response soon . There is no contact number either for this company which is very frustrating!

As I said in my email, you ordered a wig in colour 1B, which is Soft Black. You then emailed us after you received the item to say the colour isn't suitable as it is almost black.
You've been placing multiple orders for different colours, under two different customer accounts, then have sent emails sounding unsure about the colours and have then gone on to cancel some of those orders (after we have ordered the items in from the suppliers for you).
You said in one of your emails that you were nervous about ordering the wrong colour as you have made some mistakes lately.
We do urge that customers take the time to read all the relevant information available to them on the website, especially if there are specific requirements regarding colour/style.
Colours shown on photos and videos cannot be relied upon to be a 100% accurate representation of the colour due to variances in lighting and computer/phone screens.

We do not recommend choosing a topper or wig based on looking at an image alone. There are different aspects to consider when choosing a product that needs to meet certain requirements. In your case you needed a specific root colour.
The information on our website and the product pages explains that colours shown on photos and videos cannot be relied upon to be a 100% accurate representation of the colour due to variances in lighting and computer/phone screens.

I ordered a wig from you back in early February, still don’t have it yet! I saw the price if the wig on your website and it significantly cheaper that it is over here in the states! But when I went to check out, the price jumped up more than it would’ve been here! Sent an email asking why and you said conversion rate! Ok that’s fine so I told you to cancel my order and you never did! Plus you charged me $25 for shipping!!! When I tried to reach out to you for information, couldn’t get a response from you!! So if you would have told me important things about ordering from a company over seas I would’ve known! Never again!!!

Just to review the facts...
As advised a few days after you placed your order, we included your item in our next order from Ellen Wille (who are in Germany). Once it arrived here we shipped that out to you.
You sent a number of emails to us in the few days following your placing the order. Amongst those emails you asked us to cancel the order, but following that you asked when it was going to be shipped. We sent you an order update and advised we were including your item in our next order from Ellen Wille. At no point following that did you confirm that you wanted to cancel the order. In fact, your following emails were regarding the tracking of the package.
The price on the payment page on our website is the total price you pay in GBP. That price includes shipping (which there is a charge for, it is not free). If you are paying in a currency that is not GBP your bank/credit card company will charge you based on the currency conversion rate for that day (which was explained to you in an email).
We do urge, as per any online purchase from any retailer, that customers take the opportunity to discover important aspects of their purchase before placing their order.
Regarding the delay in the shipping, as per our email to you on March 13th:-
"The international postal system is still experiencing some disruption following the recent cyber attack. You can see the Royal Mail update here. This update is also included on our Order Processing & Shipping page.
We can ask Royal Mail to investigate but only from 25 days after the due delivery date. If the package has not arrived by March 31st please let us know and we can put in a claim with Royal Mail and they will investigate, but hopefully it is en-route to you."
I can see your package was delivered yesterday (28th). I am glad that it's finally reached and has not been lost.
If you are looking to place on order with a price listed in USD and fast shipping I recommend ordering from a company based in the USA in future.

Upon opening the box i immediately saw it was totally unsuitable .... it has not been handled whatsoever. I have written to them several times but they refuse to communicate with me. I have requested an online consultation to resolve this matter to no avail.

Ellen Wille rooted colours do have a darker root but it is not indicated anywhere what that root colour is. The colour can vary between styles. I don't know where you have seen that the root colour on the Lovely topper is ash blonde?

One recommendation I have to alter the appearance of the root colour on the topper you have received is to use dry shampoo (plain or tinted) or a tinted root spray. Batiste is a popular dry shampoo and L' Oreal have a root touch up spray (both available in Boots and Superdrug).

Poor Communications
I am sorry to say that this Company does not have very good communication channels for its Customer Service. I ordered a Gabor wig some two weeks ago and received an automated acknowledgement. The product has still not arrived and I have been trying to get a telephone number to phone them to ask why I had not received my goods or had a communication to tell me of any delay. Unfortunately the company does not have a telephone only a mobile number which you can send a what’s app message. You can also send an email. I have sent the same message on each of the two comms channels but not received a reply. To not be able to contact a customer service and speak to an individual is a little bizarre. I am still awaiting contact from them as to where my product is and when I can expect delivery. I do hope perhaps there is a response from this channel with some information.

With Gabor products it is not uncommon for it to take 1-2 weeks to receive an update from our supplier as to whether items are available.
Our Order Processing & Shipping information is on our website. There is a link to this information next to ‘Dispatch Time’ on the website product pages. That also includes a service update. There have been ongoing production and supply issues and many items are in short supply or on back order. This has been affecting all retailers.
"Gabor are a US based company and have a warehouse in the UK which stocks some of their products. Most products need to be ordered from the USA. Orders from the USA are placed once a week. Only when we place those orders and receive an update from our supplier do we know if items are available. We are not able to reserve items prior to placing our order."
We haven't yet received an update from the supplier to let us know whether your item was in stock in the USA and made the next shipment to the UK.
When the UK supplier places the orders they aren't told straight away if the item has made the shipment from the USA. At some point after the order is placed the supplier's system updates to show an expected date, then they let us know. It's not the easiest process, but this is how it goes for Raquel Welch/Gabor/Hairdo pieces that come through the UK supplier and it's complicated further by the low stock levels at the moment. It's much simpler when we order directly from other brands (Jon Renau/Belle Tress/Estetica Designs).
As we are an online business we deal with the majority of enquiries online. Having had a phone number available for calls in the past, it became apparent very quickly that this was predominantly being used by customers to gain in-depth, personalised advice (a service we offer through consultations) or to seek answers that are clearly available on the website. This prevented us from using our time effectively and dealing with all customers fairly. Being a smaller business it is critical that was maximise our productivity time. However, I can see that you sent your messages yesterday afternoon and left your review a few hours later before we had the chance to respond and update you on your order.
I hope that helps to explain the process.

THE 'WOW' FACTOR
I like the personal approach that this company brings and I am totally thrilled with my Angelique wig. It's perfect! It was so traumatic losing my hair due to chemo but everyone loves me in the wig and I feel like me again. I wish they would put a link for a pic upload so I could show just how natural and awesome the wig looks.
