Avoid! !! !
They are very untrustworthy, we ordered a kitchen off them which was over priced and they took over two months to complete it. Only 6 months later it has fallen apart and they refuse to answer calls or call back. If you go to them you will regret it. Take my advice and avoid at all costs.
Jokers- shouldn't be trading
Great quote, that was it, Damaged doors, wrong doors, missing panels, drawers with wrong holes. Missing legs. Missing pan drawer units. Txted and phone around 40 times, come back once with only drawers units. Still waiting for the rest. DO NOT USE!! My next port of call I will be turning up at premises. I will expect reimbursement and missing items.
Shouldn't be allowed to trade.
Bunch of dishonest cowboys. Only sent half a kitchen but obviously paid in full. They simply ignore you once they've got your cash.
DO NOT USE THIS "COMPANY"
Supply Only - Great Service
Ordered very large kitchen, supply only. Great service and product. Solid cabinets, soft closing drawers and doors.

Krypton Kitchens / Midland Kitchens
I needed a special kitchen, with lots of long wall units, and in light grey. I needed to salvage my existing wall tiles as I didn't fancy re tiling and re plastering. I found Midland Kitchens on E bay, I had been all over locally and had prices from B+Q etc. I arranged for a home visit from from Midland, and mark arrived and discussed and quoted my kitchen, no pressure just a nice guy who wanted to make us happy. He left us a quote, and after considering everything we phone and placed our order.
Then after a couple of days I went online, on this site, and was concerned about the adverse comments, I was re assured by Mark that everything was fine.
Delivery came, loads of packages and parcels, solid oak worktops and accessories, You need to be clever to fit your own kitchen, so if you are not sure of yourself dont buy then rubbish your supplier, as its not like lego!!
Fitting was relatively slow as am slightly disabled, but did a long steady fit carefully fitting all the pristine units, I noticed 2 doors had a scuff on them and one door opened the wrong way, one call to Midland and a replacements arrived. I would have cut and fitted my Oak worktops if I could have lifted them, but Andy helped by sending a fitter to cut them for me.
I can only say that Andy and Mark genuinely helped in every way and provided me with a top quality kitchen and I would have no concerns in returning to buy another.
I have almost finished fitting, just a few minor touches to complete, I shall the furnish Krypton Kitchens with photographs as it looks like a show kitchen and most of all my wife is very pleased with everything.

Krypton & Midland Kitchens Appalling Quality and Service AVOID !!!!
Firstly, both Krypton Kitchens and Midland Kitchens operate from the same location. Midland Kitchens basically design and sell a complete kitchen, the carcasses are made by Krypton Kitchens, the doors (were) supplied by Uform - who following our bad experience with this bunch, have on good authority terminated their supply agreement with them.
A point to note here is that Uform - or i-Kitchens of Ireland are faultless, and this review is in no way critical of their reputation for quality or professionalism.
This is why you should NOT buy from these people:
> We paid over £9000 for the kitchen, supply only
> They promised delivery 3rd week December 2015, a week before, we were told that our doors would not be ready in time and were asked whether we want to delay the whole kitchen until delivery on guranteed date of 15th Jan or take delivery of just the carcasses. We natually delayed the whole delivery.
> a week before delivery was due as no one ad called to confirm delivery, we chased Midland Kitchens. There was no answer on teh landline and mobile went to voice mail. We sent several text messages, and left voice mails. No one got back to us. Eventually, afger "googling" we discovered Krypton Kitchens, and uncovered the relationship with Midland kitchens. Krypton were called, they had no knowledge of the delivery date and could not confirm that the doors had arrived from UForm. We were told that Mr M of midland Kitchens, had gone on holiday to Thialand and "locked up" the files. we would have to wait over a week until he got back. Our delivery date came and went. and with that, we decided to cancel the order and start recovery proceedings for our £9k payment.
We informed UForm, who couldn't have been more helpful. It appeared that they could not contact Mr M either, and had received another call from a dissatisfied customer of Midland Kitchens.
To cut a long story short, we had lined up an alternative kitchen company, and had agreed to start over with them, using UForm doors as originally planned. However, in the mean time Mr A reappeared, very matter of fact and no apology. He told us all of our doors had arrived, and that if we re-instated the order, everything could be delivered that week. So, eventually we took the path of least resistance, very reluctantly, but we just wanted our kitchen as it had already taken almost 2.5 months to come.
This kitchen was delivered by Mr M and an employee of Krypton Kitchens, and that was when we regretted ever agreeing to re-instate the order as the following problems hit us between the eyes:
> A custom oven housing had been measured / made incorrectly. The housing had to be adjusted on site.
> two custom drawer units were the wrong size so the kitchen didn't fit along a main feature wall
> only 3 out of 4 curved doors were supplied
> one door was painted the wrong colour
> hinges were delivered without screws (we have since dumped their hinges and purchased Blum
> NO ACCESSORIES were delivered, pull outs, peg boards, cutlery trays etc.
> No handles were delivered
> Some doors were damaged
> THE CARCASSES :
>> Flimsy poorly constructed by novices not dowelled or glued, simply screwed cheap chipboard.
>> Edgings didn't match the doors as promised
>> Cheap legs broke and collapsed
>> Screws poked through side of units as not screwed centrally
>> holes for hinge mounts not drilled in correct places
>> Shelf mounts missing
>> Shelves missing and wooden shelves supplied instead of glass in display cupboards
Our joiner has had re:
> reinforce most units
> replace screws
> replace edging with correct colour
> replace legs (these would not have supported granite worktops)
> Modify kitchen wall to accommodate oversized units.
> fit buffer pads to doors as these (costing a couple of £ for 100 ) are NOT supplied by Midland Kitchens.
Wall units DO NOT have any form of mounting, they are designed to fit FLUSH against the wall. We have had to fit concealed wall mountings, purchased from a separate supplier.
This was the WORST decision we have ever made, it ws a disaster, the only positive part of which is UForm and ther fabulous doors and trim. So the kitchen will look marvellous when it is eventually completed.
We sincerely hope that these people do not have the opportunity to do this to anyone else and we will do everything we can to prevent it happening.
The Facts :
1) Midland Kitchens is run by just one person, there is no "customer support team"
2) The is no inventory system, no quality process, no fallback in the event the main person , Mr M is away.
3) If Mr M decides he does not want to return a text, email or voicemail, he doesn't, once he has your money, you are forgotten and he moves on to the next .
4) Midland Kitchens is a one man enterprise, with no control over anything apart from the method to enable him to take your money. Everything is outsourced.
5) We paid £5000 for carcasses that a small, local joiner could have made for less than half the cost, and made a significantly better job.
IKEA, B & Q, and Wickes units are better quality
.

DON'T EVEN GO THERE - BE WARNED
AFTER PAYING £9000 FOR A DESIGNER KITCHEN AND UTILITY FITTED IN MAY THIS YEAR I AM NOW IN DECEMBER AND HAVE ENDLESS ISSUES WITH MY KITCHEN.
BE WARNED THESE ARE ONLY SOME OF THE ISSUES:
- THE IGNITION MY GAS HOB IN THE UTILITY HAS ONLY JUST RECENTLY BEEN FITTED AFTER MONTHS OF USING MATCHES
- My new brickwork on extension was damaged being smashed with a hammer to make a hole - these fitters didn't even have a hole cutter (and this fitter was English speaking)
- Drawer runners faulty from day one still have not been fixed
- Damaged drawers and doors from day one - they now deny responsibility
- Lying workmen - first Gas installer made out there was a gas leak as the fitter didn't have the required parts on the day costing me a plumber call out charge to check who found no issues
- Just to let you know they also use many cheap immigrant workers who don't have a clue.
- The one fitter making an electrical connection to the main had no wire cutters and asked me for a kitchen knife to cut the cabling for connection. He had no insulation tape and was going to use paper masking tape - damn right dangerous and ok if you want to set your house on fire. So I gave him my insulation tape.
- being told that poorly adjusted doors and chrome coming off handles was ok as that happens and is acceptable
- the amount of phone calls and time off work where these guys didn't turn up could have paid for another kitchen
- oh did i forget to mention a hairline crack in the new quartz worktop that they refused to take responsibility for.
- A BIG mistake, I have fitted a Wickes flat pack kitchen to my previous home myself many years ago and is still looking great - I would have been better fitting this myself and saved a load of money, time and STRESS.
- Also they fitted a second hand tap to my utility with paint peeling off - I'M STILL WAITING FOR A REPLACEMENT
- also a leaking waste pipe that drenched the mdf carcass due to time taken to sort out
many more issues but running out of time and patience.
FEEL FREE TO GO WITH THESE AT YOUR RISK
I SERIOUSLY QUESTION the validity of the good reviews on this site.

I shall definitely be using Krypton Kitchens again, besides which their product represents excellent value for money too. THANK YOU !

Great Service
Came across this firm on Ebay they provided the most competitive price over the phone. Even though I had measured the kitchen and knew what units i needed they suggested that i should have a visit from the salesman just to make sure that everything would fit. Very glad i took them up on the offer because he suggested some alternatives that made for a much better kitchen. Also liked the fact that only had to pay a small deposit on placement of order with the balance not due until the delivery when i had chance to inspect the items. All the carcasses were pre-assembled and of good quality and accurate sizes. All the doors and end panels were well packaged and had no problem with any damage during transit. A couple of specialist items the bin unit and the handles were not delivered with the kitchen but came by courier within three days as promised. In summary i received excellent service from start to finish and based on my experience would highly recommend to anybody.

Great service from start to finish
The initial quotation to the fitting was excellent. No pressure from the sales guy. Knew exactly what he was doing and designed a kitchen that I was well pleased with. His recommendations to what I should do were greatly appreciated. The price was very very competitive so I went ahead.
Kitchen was delivered when they said, some parts were missing but the fitter bought them with them the next day. Kitchen took 3 days to fit which was quick considering the size. The workmanship was faultless and the fitters were excellent.
Overall extremely happy with the service and product. Will highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing value for money
We had a large kitchen to replace and knew that we needed to get one directly from the manufacturer as the DIY shops would charge us an arm and a leg. We found krypton kitchens online, we were initially wary of some of the reviews but thought we would check it out for ourselves. Andy designed our kitchen with curved doors and bespoke pan drawers we had our Quartz worktop arranged by Andy, the price was amazing and a 3rd of anywhere else quoted. We were not disappointed the quality of the units was great and the doors were lovely quality. We have had lots of compliments of how beautiful our kitchen looks. We would 100% recommend krypton kitchens and have already passed on Andy's details to 2 of our friends.

Top notch kitchen without the huge price tag
Their kitchen planner arrived on time, planned the kitchen out whilst asking us what we would like rather than telling us what we could have like some previous company's had done.
He showed us what it would all look like on his laptop and it was exactly what we had wanted. He put the order in and told us that it would be delivered within 10 days and delivered within 10 days it was.
The units are ready made up, so a lot of time saved by this. They are also made of thicker wood than some of the others we had seen and all doors and drawers are soft close- just adds to the quality feel of it.
We were missing a cupboard door when it came but we rang and informed them of this and it was sent by courier the next day.
We have now had all the kitchen fitted and we are very pleased with the quality of it and also the price we paid.
Like i said in the title ' top notch kitchen without the huge price tag'.

Our first kitchen
We have recently bought our house and this is our first experience of buying a kitchen. We found this company online and the designer came out and spent a lot of time with us making sure we were happy with the finished design. This week the kitchen has been fitted. There have been a few hiccups along the way but these have been rectified or in the process of being rectified. It is being completed next week as a couple of parts missing so will review again then but so far am very happy with it and the price. The fitters have been great, very cheerful and helpful. The only thing to stop me giving 5 stars is that you can't always get an answer when you call. Overall very happy so far.

Don't even go there!!
A promising start was made when we contacted Krypton Kitchens in Birmingham and arranged an initial visit by planner Mark Poulton. Mark was polite and professional, saying that we had made his job very easy by providing him with a scale plan of our proposed design. After a second meeting, a final price was quoted, (very competitive), and accepted. We ordered the kitchen which arrived on the due date.
So far so good. However, things went rapidly downhill from here.
There were items missing from the order - door handles, carousels, drawer fronts, two doors and, due to Mark's error, insufficient lengths of worktop. In addition, despite having given Mark accurate dimensions for our integrated oven and microwave, the oven housing was completely useless because shelves and hinge holes had been inaccurately placed.
Our own fitters were completely frustrated and inconvenienced by these shortcomings resulting in additional work for them and additional expense for us.
I contacted Krypton on a daily basis trying to obtain the missing items. This took over 3 weeks and a great deal of complaining. Eventually the items arrived, though the additional worktop was the wrong finish and had to be returned again. When it finally arrived it was clearly an offcut with many surface scratches. Meanwhile, Mark had gone on holiday for a week, though even when he had returned to work he did not see fit to contact us to assist or even apologise. I tried calling and texting him many times but with no response.
I eventually made contact with Andy, who according to other staff members is "the boss". I had one phone conversation with him during which I recounted the whole sad story. He denied all knowledge of what had happened, even though there were several e-mails from me detailing everything as it had happened. Andy promised to read the emails and call me back the following day with a proposal for compensation. I should say that, by this time, we were £300 out-of-pocket as a result of the extra work needed to fit the kitchen.
Yes, you guessed - Andy never called me and has been unreachable ever since. I have written a detailed letter of complaint which has not even been acknowledged. It is interesting to note that, throughout this saga, I did not receive one phone call, text or email from anyone at Krypton once the kitchen had been paid for and delivered.
Having now read many reviews it is clear that this company is "getting away with murder" and I am surprised that they are still in business.
My only positive suggestion is that all we dissatisfied customers get together and bring some kind of joint action against these "cowboys" to prevent them from inflicting further misery on others. I'd be interested to know if anyone out there has reported them to Trading Standards, which is what I am about to do.
So, if you don't enjoy stress and you don't like being ripped off, AVOID KRYPTON KITCHENS!
