Aaron Compton from Kudos Films is simply the best video director I have ever worked with.

We are creating a new high-end luxury ladies jackets company, Belle Brummell Ltd., which will launch this coming Autumn and we needed to find a director to help us create a mini-film for our on-line website and to help us tell our unique luxury brand story in a concise and elegant way.

From the very beginning, Aaron was highly professional. He was easily available by phone and Zoom, was great fun to collaborate with, patient to an ludicrous degree and took our initial story board and script and somehow made it all happen!

Shooting this film required a good deal of visual sophistication. For starters, we were filming in an 18th century townhouse in London in a room that had superb wood carved boiserie on the walls. Aaron and his team were able to light the room in such a way to make it look like the room was filled with natural sunlight. This scene, which showed a number of people having high tea, was shot with perfect light balance and also allowed our model, wearing the jacket, to be seen to best advantage.

Additionally, we needed some very specific detail shots. The jacket is highly defined with geometric trims on the cuffs, satin jacquard fabrics and soft wool. Aaron had a marvelous camera on a mini-track that was able to get such high definition shots of the jacket details that the visual felt tactile.

We had a number of extras on the film and lots of fiddly props. Aaron worked wonderfully with our model and helped her turn in a subtle and charming performance. He was also charming with the extras, giving them encouragement and helping them stay focused throughout the shoot.

When it came to editing the film, Aaron had shot enough footage so we were able to comfortably toggle back and forth until we had exactly what we wanted. Aaron also helped guide us towards locating a voice-over artist for the product title at the end of the video as well providing us with suggestions for the right background music for the video. As a matter of fact, Aaron edited the video scenes to the music so perfectly that it gave additional depth and humor to the storyline.

Aaron Compton will make whatever video or film you have in mind better than you could have imagined!

I'd highly recommend Aaron and the Kudos team. They're an absolute pleasure to work with and always deliver the goods!

Aaron went above and beyond to fit in with our tight schedule. He understood our brief and then elevated it to beyond what we could have hoped. The footage looked like a movie! And a few people asked us who we had hired to do it. Very reliable person who makes you feel very relaxed as well which helps a lot when you arent used to being in front of the camera .

The videos Kudos Films created for us are brilliant and we could not be more happy with the whole service from them.

I had the pleasure of working with Aaron on a video for a renewable energy project, which required a range of different shots. He was quick to understand the brief and provided a very clear breakdown of pricing options at the start, which made it easier for us to decide the best way to approach it.

Alongside standard pieces to camera, Aaron captured a great range of b-roll footage, including drone shots, which he was confident to lead on with little input. The results are fantastic (it doesn't seem like it was delivered by just one person) and the footage will last far beyond the scope of this particular project.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with Aaron again and I would highly recommend his services.
