Kumon aims to give students the tools they need to enjoy learning and thrive academically. We're not able to know which centre you're registered with, but please do drop your Instructor a message to ask for your child to receive more reassurance. The path to their ability to study independently is not always smooth. Concerns are best addressed early.

Kumon has been fantastic for my child. The instructors take their time, explain things clearly, and always make sure the children feel supported. I’ve noticed a big improvement in focus, confidence, and overall progress. The centre is friendly, well‑run, and very welcoming. We honestly can’t thank Kumon Clapham, especially Amanda and the whole team, enough for everything they’ve done for our son Bradley.
When Bradley first started just 8 months ago, he wasn’t able to read and was really struggling due to his SEN needs. The patience, dedication, and genuine care shown by Amanda and her team has been nothing short of incredible. Today, Bradley is reading fluently, something we once worried might take years, and that transformation is entirely down to their consistent support and belief in him.
Every single member of the team is kind, encouraging, and truly invested in the children they teach. It’s such a special environment, and Bradley has felt safe, supported, and proud of his progress every step of the way.
We are so, so sad to be leaving due to our house move out of London, but we’ll always be grateful for the impact they’ve had on Bradley’s journey. We really hope our paths cross again in the future, such a wonderful team and such genuinely lovely people.

The only downside is that the work is very repetitive and my child gets bored and frustrated at times. I would recommend that they reconfigure their layouts so that it doesn't seem so monotonous.
Overall, I would recommend. I wish I had started earlier, as I believe that when they start from a young age, they make better and quicker progress.
