What a nightmare!
We are not sure who writes positive reviews here, but in our case working with this company was a nightmare.
We made our first order in May. In June we were told that they could not deliver the wardrobe in the requested configuration, because they ran out of mirror doors. So instead of a wardrobe with 2 mirror-doors they could only deliver a wardrobe with 1 mirror door. We weren't too happy about that, but agreed. It's COVID after all, so every business might have difficulties. Then we were told that we would have to wait another 6-8 weeks. Surprise, but okay, we accepted.
At some point we asked KUMOX how their process looks like and got a response from one of their employees, that both the assembly and the delivery happen on the same day.
In early July we got a message from KUMOX that our wardrobe is on its way. After waiting for a week or two, nobody has contacted us. So we wrote to KUMOX asking about the status. They said that the delivery company had called us in the beginning of July and that we told that we would call back to arrange the appointment. Obviously, the delivery company lied. We said to KUMOX that nobody had called us. They must have informed the delivery company, so they contacted us that same say and suggested the delivery the next day. We agreed, but asked whether the assembly would happen on the same day (we ordered the wardrobe with the assembly). The guy got unhappy and said that both the delivery and the assembly couldn't happen the next day and that he would get back to us with appointment proposals. We haven't heard from him for a couple of weeks then. So we contacted KUMOX again. Some other guy from the delivery company called us that time. He also said that the wardrobe can be delivered the next day. When we asked, when it could be assembled, he said that his people can't do it and that we have to talk to KUMOX to arrange the assembly.
What a great coordination and customer orientation! One has to spend hours on the phone trying to coordinate the assembly and the delivery, essentially doing the job, which KUMOX has to do.
After going back and forth with totally helpless KUMOX employees, we seemed to have agreed that the delivery and the assembly would happen on the 6th of September. We have deliberately cross-checked with one of their employees, whether both the delivery and the assembly would happen on the same day, which was confirmed via e-mail.
In the morning of the 6th of September the assembly person came and was surprised that the wardrobe parts weren't there yet. We showed him the e-mail from KUMOX and after clarifying something with KUMOX on the phone he said, that he was sorry for the situation, but the assembly and the delivery would not happen that day. He said, we would be contacted by e-mail by KUMOX.
Again, surprisingly instead, the delivery company called us again asking whether it would be okay to have a delivery on the 11th of September. We said that we don't know, because nobody knows when the assembly then can take place. At that time, we were already on the bridge of terminating our contract. Almost 4 months since we placed the original order, a change of order, misleading communication from both KUMOX and their vendors. We decided to give them another chance by asking to coordinate both the delivery and the assembly and come back to us with appointment proposals. In the end, we are the customers and we don't care how their internal processes work, we just want our wardrobe to be delivered and assembled.
So KUMOX got back to us saying that the delivery would take place on the 11th and the assembly would happen on the 13th in the morning.
When we asked her to provide us the exact delivery timeframe, they got back to us saying that the delivery would take place at 10 o'clock in the morning. After receiving that e-mail, we got a message on a cellphone from the delivery company, that the delivery couldn't take place on the 11th.
What a nonsense! We terminated the contract!
After receiving the termination KUMOX got back to us with a confirmation and explaining, that it was all our fault, that we did not coordinate the delivery and the assembly. What a shame! This truly shows how "customer-oriented" and "professional" these people at KUMOX are. Btw, we still have all of the mails and we went though them while writing this review.
Normally, such incompetent people should be fired, but something tells me, that instead we are bound to see a formal "response" to this message, saying how wrong we are and how professional the company is.
UPDATE 21.11.2021:
In fact, KUMOX did get back to us asking to take down the review, because our order got cancelled in the end. As if the "experience" didn't matter. This is kind of the business they are doing! We have already reported them to Trustpilot.
