Guys showed up on time, and stayed until everything was gone.

The movers were polite, punctual and carefully moved several refrigerators for us.

I LOVE THESE GUYS. I used them 4 months ago when I had to move and used again today when I had to move unexpectedly. both times they finished under or at 3 hours even when I had nothing prepared the second time. will use again if I ever have to move

I had a great experience with KZ2 the first time I worked with them. The second time they were incredible inflexible. Also, I was supposed to have three movers but they sent one student (a minor) and another very young man. I appreciated their help, but having three movers (only one of whom was a full grown adult) was not fast or efficient. I ended up just asking one of them to get out of the way because I was a better and more efficient mover. Would not recommend.

Edit: Not sure why the company responded to say they had no minors when there was a minor there. That aside, the company reached out promptly to address the issue and seek to remedy the situation. Am impressed with their post-incident customer service.

Not only did they take double the time they quoted, and double the time that was reasonable for a 1br, they had the absolute audacity to ask for a 20%+ tip. They purposefully waited until my partner was alone to pay, then “explained” how tipping works to her. Absolutely atrocious

Great people and prompt service! The movers are very courteous and hard working. They moved our belongings up many flights of stairs and were very careful in their handling. The rates are extremely reasonable amongst the ones we inquired. They moved our belongings from a storage into our condo 150 miles away in fairly good pace! Definitely check them out for your next move!!

Extremely professional, experienced and knowledgeable. They were on time and took care of every item and placed it where it needed to go. It was a heavy rainy day and all items were meticulously wrapped. I was fortunate to have KZ2 Moving Company assist in my large move. I would recommend them to anyone looking for assistance with their move.

This is the second time we used Oscar and his team as our movers. They did a fantastic job! Straight forward, efficient, and very helpful. We were very pleased and would hire again.

I recently used KZ2 for a simple one-bedroom apartment move, just one mile away, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Despite having my stuff packed and ready, the move took an outrageous TEN hours. The movers were incredibly slow, frequently disappearing for 20-30 minutes at a time. My mother, who was there to help with my dog, repeatedly commented on their lack of urgency.

The movers arrived at the very last minute of their two-hour arrival window—technically on time, but just barely. Throughout the day, I was repeatedly told that I had "two bedrooms of stuff," which is simply not true. My new apartment is 100 square feet smaller, and everything fits just fine. I’ve shown multiple people, including coworkers, my apartment, and everyone agrees that I have a normal amount of items for a one-bedroom apartment.

I was also repeatedly told that I should have hired three movers instead of two, even though I followed the company’s online quote, which recommended two movers for a one-bedroom move. At no point did KZ2 Moving contact me for additional information about my move or the size of my apartment. The only communication I received was a text confirming the move date.

Because the move took more than twice as long as anticipated, I didn’t have enough cash to both pay for the move and tip the movers. I had to pay by card, which ended up adding even more to the cost since they charge extra per hour for card payments.

I can’t shake the feeling that the movers deliberately stretched out my move to last all day because they didn’t have any other jobs booked that day. If they had, I’m confident my move would have been completed in 4-5 hours. They mentioned that they had two jobs the day before my move and two jobs booked the day after, but on my moving day, they only had mine. While this is just my theory, it’s hard not to feel taken advantage of.

Thank you for your response and for taking the time to address my concerns. However, I’d like to clarify a few points:

Amount of Stuff: I moved from a ~750 sq ft 1-bedroom apartment to a ~650 sq ft 1-bedroom apartment, and all my belongings fit perfectly in my new, smaller space. If my items were perceived as “two bedrooms worth,” perhaps the online forms should be updated to be more specific to square footage, or better yet, a representative should reach out before the move to ensure that the right number of movers are assigned. I followed the quote provided, and yet I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong, which added unnecessary stress to an already stressful day. As the customer, I rely on your expertise, and better communication before the moving day could have prevented this issue. I also mentioned the long walk in my original building in my online quote, so this should have been a consideration when recommending the number of movers.

Elevator Situation: Neither building offers the option to reserve elevators, and this is just the nature of the locations. I specifically chose to move on a weekday to minimize elevator traffic. In my previous moves, most of which had similar circumstances, this was never an issue, and the moves certainly never took anywhere near 10 hours.

Timing: While your records show 9 hours and 15 minutes, the movers took a 45-minute lunch break, bringing the total time they were on site to 10 hours. However, I want to clarify that I was not charged for 10 hours.

Tipping: I did tip the movers generously because they worked hard, especially considering the hill at the last location. However, that does not negate the fact that I felt the movers were slow and unprofessional. Tipping them was a gesture of appreciation for their physical labor. It doesn’t mean I was satisfied with the overall experience or the way I was treated during the move.

I have moved multiple times in the past, and I’ve never experienced a move that took this long. After speaking with friends, including one who recently moved a similar-sized apartment in San Francisco with two movers, and whose move took about 5 hours, it’s clear that this situation was not handled well. I took two weeks to write my review, consulting with others in the moving profession to ensure that my concerns were valid, and I still stand by my dissatisfaction with how this move was conducted.

I appreciate your willingness to discuss this further, but I hope this feedback helps improve your service for future customers.

KZ2 arrived promptly on time and effectively moved our one bedroom apartment full of stuff from a fourth floor walk-up.. We had somewhat complicated instructions as some things were staying and some things were going, and they followed those perfectly. I will absolutely recommend this company to my family & friends.
