Professionalism

I go to Labcorp at 875 Upland Ave, Chester,Pa 19013. Phlebotomist/lab tech Tynera is very knowledgeable, professional, kind with high ethics. There's no other I prefer to draw my blood.

CHP run Labcorp and Labcorp run facilities vs TPCA run Labcorp

TPCA used Labcorp, but they were organized and well-staffed, with an easy online registering program. Granted appointments were stretched out to 2-3 weeks, you at least got in on your appointment time, even if the waiting room was full! What did TPCA have that CHP run Labcorp and Labcorp facilities don't have? It must have been good organization skills. Somebody in that organization knew what they were doing! I had to wait at the labcorp run facility at John Knox for 50 minutes past my appointment time and I got there 10 minutes earlier. Now they are gone and all we have is CHP labcorp or labcorp facilities that are understaffed, employees rude because they have no control over labcorp policies, their online registration is a joke and takes a person with some computer skills to manage. Every waiting room is full of people and it matters not if you have an appointment. Only one phlebotomist to handle a crowded waiting room with children running and crying all over the place and people getting agitated over the wait time. I think TPCA should sell CHP and labcorp their program as they are not using it any more. I miss TPCA!!

I'm rating Labcorp 2800 W Mallard Creek Church Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262. Store was closed on Monday Memorial day while the website mentioned store is open and the phone message was "the party you are calling is currentrly unavailable." Not a professional store place of business. Store manager should be replaced.

I was extremely upset today at your La…

I was extremely upset today at your La Mesa, CA location. I had my blood test a week ago. Your representative gave me a specimen bottle and told me that I could return at any time with the urine sample. I went back today and the person at the counter would not accept it. I was told that I needed to do it the day of the test and must contact my doctor for another referral. I am a senior citizen and had to spend $30. for an UBER (I am on a limited budget). Additionally, there was a person with one arm trying to check in. The person at the counter never bothered to help him. I called the supervisor, Viviana, of the La Mesa location and left a message. Your company needs to do a check of this location. They don't communicate well and their refusal to help seniors and the disabled is clearly evident.

The place is a disgrace

The place is a disgrace, me as my daughter biological mother has to wait a week after her alleged father in order to get DNA results all because he paid for it and out of spite didn't write my name down. Even though I brought her in for the test, sent in copies of her birth certificate, my ID and court papers stating he has no legal rights to information on her due to a restraining order. So now while he sits with result I have to wait till court to find out because I won't get them in time. If this is how they treat biological parents that is disgusting!

website is amazingly lousy

The actual facilities are usually very good. The website and corporate customer service are completely useless. The website is often extremely slow. It will only load pages sometimes including, but not limited to, main page, log in, results and appointments. Another amazing waste of time is (IF) I can actually log in to MY ACCOUNT, there is a part to make appointments. After selecting an appointment (if the site is still operating) a person needs to completely enter ALL of their information manually. Why? I have an account set up that HAS ALL THIS INFORMATION ALREADY IN IT. In the last 5 years I sent 3 Help emails. The results, ignored, given bad information & today I sent an email about the site (re: see above problems) and they replied promptly stating that the email I sent it to is 'only' for technical help. I sent them back "is the site not operating correctly a technical problem?" So I write this review hoping people will use their competitors, as I will. Too much life wasted with this company that does not care about its customers.

One of the worst experiences I had so…

One of the worst experiences I had so far 😪 Since the beginning of the year I have had United Health Care. I have had two labs done by my MDS. My MDS office submitted a claim with my new insurance. 2 weeks later I get a bill saying I owe an amount because my Aetna insurance denied payment? No duh I 🙄 don't have Aetna. So my mds office calls labcorp about the discrepancy labcorp says ignore the bill and a new claim will be filled. 2 weeks later I get a larger bill since I had blood work done again stating the same thing that Aetna which I don't have has denied payment. I called Labcorp myself and customer service says my MDS office has not been in touch with Labcorp which is complete bs. So I gave the rep my new insurance for the 2nd time. And they told me to waive the last lab bill and that Labcorp will process my new Insurace. Fast forward I get a third bill stating the same thing. So today I spoke to the rep and she basically told me she was sorry for the inconvenience. I asked what happened to info that was presented by my office and myself the only answer she had was sorry for inconvenience?

I recently was sent to labcorp in…

I recently was sent to labcorp in Decatur Tx by a Doctor. I just got a notice about what I owed extra on this particular lab work. We have Medicare A and B, plus a Medicare supplement ( not Medicare advantage).
What these people charged for this lab work was OBSCENE!!!! As follows in 2025

Total. 6.300.00 in charges for this lab work.
I received a bill for almost 400.00 dollars

I will tell everyone I know , a stop strangers on the street to spread the word about these obscene thieves.

private pay fun :/

private pay, went to a facility. You as the customer have to call a 1800 number and they send you a good faith estimate when your at their facility. Facility has to tell them what you are in for and tests needed. They then email you the good faith estimate. No wifi, so you have to use your phone to pull up the estimate and then show their own office what the pricing is. The facility cannot price out what you need, the pricing department is off site, and they do not communicate with eachother.

Its like going to Mcdonalds and having to get pricing and pay for a cheeseburger by calling an offshore call center. Very bad process and everyone in the process at Labcorp seems to be angry and frustrated by it.

Ridiculously poor service

Ridiculously poor service. They cannot and will not take labs at some locations. People taking orders don’t understand plain and simple lab orders and then push you beyond your time limits for obtaining labs due to their incompetence, costing the patient money and inconvenience. They will give you false information about their ability to take your tests at certain locations also in an effort to not have to do their jobs. Poor, POOR, VERY POOR service and a man who came in right after me had the same exact problem. I will use Quest from this point on.

Unbelievable

Unbelievable. Doc says get blood work, I have questions. Impossible to talk to a human being. Walgreens makes you sit through the "get your next vax" spiel before you can even select your department. Selected Labcorp after screaming LABCORP 4 times to the phone, and was transferred to the beauty department. They say they cant help, I have to call direct. Finally able to get through, and you guessed it, they don't answer the phone. Tried many times just be sure it's not a fluke. This is there default position, ignore. I won't be patronizing this crap hole, Walgreens, or any affiliates anymore the rest of my life. This is how to fight back against these lazy, incompetent, clowns, let other know and boycott them for life. Labcorp can kiss my ass.

WalMart experience

First the entire staff was rude and hateful. They screamed at the ppl waiting, not please no TY. I have been waiting 4 days for my results. Each day I am getting more stressed and worried that I have a serious illness. I called the corp cust service nbr and spoke with a woman who was RUDE AND HATEFUL. She told me they were delayed due to too much business. I told her I was worried and she then said it may be May 9th 2025 before I get the results. I WILL GO TO A THIRD WORLD Country lab before I will ever go back to LabCorp. I am very worried that the ppl doing the actual lab results will be as inept as these ppl are. OBW unless an odd lab order I have never ever waited this long at other labs to get results.

This has to be the worst lab….

This has to be the worst lab in this area of the Pacific Northwest! Scheduled appointments mean nothing. “Scheduled at 8:30, great take a seat and we will get you when we can”. Reception points everyone to check in on the computer kiosk, however the kiosk apparently doesn’t communicate with anyone. Confirming email of check in also means nothing. Completed check in again only to wait longer. I really wish there was another option. There is a complete lack of professionalism, and a total disregard to anything remotely related to customer service. This is not an isolated incident unfortunately.

Worst lab experience in my 75 years of life. Two hours in the waiting room another hour sitting in the procedure room waiting for my bloodwork to be taken. Insisted on credit card in advance instead of verifying insurance. Terrible employee attitudes…I can go on

This is a review of the Jenkintown PA…

This is a review of the Jenkintown PA Labcorp.

This particular Labcorp has a serious problem with its staffing decisions. I have twice gone there and dealt with the same intake person. It is hard for me to describe how bad she is. She gives the impression of being a middle school dropout--note I did not say high school dropout--and she has an attitude to boot. I was on edge the whole time I had to deal with her.

Then I was sent back to have the lab technician draw my blood. She gave the impression of being not a middle school dropout but a high school dropout. She too had an attitude. To start the process,  She tied an elastic band around my upper arm. This is routine. However, she tied it so tight I could bear the pain for a couple of minutes. I had to ask her to loosen it a little bit. Her brow darkened. "That is how it has to be. I cannot do my job. I will get someoneelse to do it". With that she flounced off.

Another technician came in, looking at me disapprovingly. Her colleague must have given her an earful about me. To my relief she went through the process efficiently,  although her manner to me remained very cold. I was relieved to then get out of there.

This is the Labcorp facility closest to me, plus it is in the same building as my doctor's office. In spite of this, I shall seek out another lab in the future.  To me the people who bear the greatest blame are the person in charge of hiring and the person who monitors staff compliance with the behavior expected of them. The world is full of people who have an attitude and are very stupid to boot. That doesn't mean that Labcorp or any professional establishment should hire them. I was on tenterhooks dealing with these people the whole time I was there. That should not have been my Labcorp experience.

BEWARE

BEWARE! If they don't have the availability you need, they will charge you FIRST, then if you request a cancellation, they will try to charge a $20 "physician service" fee. Do NOT trust them!
