I had a very positive and valuable training experience with LabMedExpert. The Intensive Histology Training programme was well structured and covered all key areas of histopathology, including specimen reception, embedding, microtomy, staining, block checking, and quality control. The training was delivered in a professional laboratory environment and closely reflected real NHS laboratory practice, which greatly improved my confidence and practical understanding.

The trainers were highly knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable, and they took time to explain procedures clearly while emphasising patient safety, traceability, and good laboratory practice. I recently completed the intensive microbiology portfolio training with Lab Med Expert, and I can confidently say it was an incredibly supportive and valuable experience. The entire team was outstanding, especially my trainer, Manpreet. She’s incredibly humble, down to earth, and always willing to help. Her encouragement and guidance made a big difference throughout my learning journey.

I also want to extend my gratitude to Kunle, the director, who is equally supportive and approachable. Whenever I had any queries or concerns, he was always there to assist me.

One of the best parts of this training was that while the team guided and pushed me forward, they also emphasized the importance of putting in my own effort. Without actively participating and doing the work, no one else can do it for you — and that’s a crucial part of developing your skills and confidence.

What really stood out to me is how much I learned about working in a real laboratory setting: how to inform seniors, what to do and what not to do, and how to follow proper procedures. The portfolio training helped me gain so much essential knowledge that I’m already applying in my new job, which I secured immediately after completing this training.

I did my intensive microbiology with labmed expert my training officer was manpreet, I have learnt alot during my training, manpreet was a great trainer, she explained everything really well, I managed to pass my exam with 100% marks.
