I’ve been a patient at Laffan’s for many years, and my recent experience with Dr Lucy Simpkin was exceptional. She helped me achieve the smile I’ve always wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

From the very beginning, Lucy put me completely at ease. Although I was excited about the treatment, I was also quite nervous. She took the time to listen, reassure me, and guide me through the process with genuine care and professionalism. Over the course of just a few months, the teeth I had never felt confident about were transformed into something I’m truly proud of.

I’m absolutely over the moon with my new smile. Would I recommend Lucy at Laffan’s? Without hesitation — 100% yes. She’s brilliant, highly skilled, and a true perfectionist. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Bryntirion Dental Surgery in Pontllanfraith, where I met the wonderful Martha. Her expertise was incredible! She thoroughly explained the choices available to me for the discomfort in my back tooth. I opted to have it extracted on the spot. Martha ensured I understood each step before she started and frequently checked on my comfort throughout the process. The receptionists were also delightful. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to others.

I saw the lovely Martha today at Bryntirion dental surgery Pontllanfraith & she is amazing!! She explained the options I had as I’ve been experiencing pain with my back tooth so I decided to have it removed there & then.
Before Martha began she explained everything that she would be doing & constantly kept checking if I was ok during the procedure.
Receptionists are also so lovely & highly recommend this Dental practice

Stepping into Laffan Dental Care, Blackwood is like walking into a sanctuary where dental fear evaporates. I’ve been a devoted patient for many years, and every visit fortifies my trust in their exceptional care.

Perched atop a flight of steep steps, the clinic greets you with an air of sophistication and cleanliness. On entering, you're welcomed by a friendly reception area to your left, staffed by courteous, helpful ladies who make you feel instantly at ease. To your right, a cosy waiting room beckons, furnished with plush chairs and adorned with picturesque views of the surrounding Blackwood area. Often, daytime TV adds a little bit of entertainment to your wait, but it’s typically a brief one.

Before you know it, your name is called, and you’re escorted with a smile to your consultation room. I’ve had the pleasure of being treated by the delightful Adam for most of my time at Laffan’s. Our shared love for music always sparks lively conversations, albeit slightly stifled by dental tools. Adam is consistently assisted by two equally charming and professional dental assistants, ensuring your comfort and care are top-notch.

Beyond regular check-ups, I make it a point to visit the hygienists at Laffan four times a year. The hygienist’s section, located downstairs and in the neighbouring building, is where the teeth of Blackwood’s elite sparkle after their sessions. They also offer specialized cosmetic dentistry, should you want to enhance your smile further.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Laffan Dentists in Blackwood. Without hesitation, I’d rate them a stellar 10 out of 10. They are undeniably the finest dental practitioners in the area. Just a small caveat – their excellence has led to a lengthy waitlist. However, putting your name down is a wise choice. After all, what do you have to lose?

I had composite bonding with Aled due to a chipped front tooth, the result is perfect.

I also had my very hyperactive 2 year old with me and between Aled and his lovely nurse they made both myself and my daughter feel very comfortable.
Taking a child to the dentist can be very daunting but he really related and communicated with her whilst fixing my tooth.

Had Invisalign with Guy and he was amazing from start to finish. We even went on to make more adjustments after the initial round of trays were done. Guy made me feel super comfortable the whole time and went above and beyond to make sure the results were amazing.

Guy is honestly the best! Would highly recommend! Very professional and such a lovely man. So please with my outcome after having Invisalign!

Adam is fab. Smiley and very friendly and super accommodating. Easy to connect with on social media too for any queries.
Friday he fitted me in at short notice when I messed up getting an implant fitted same time as Invisalign. Highly recommend. I am pleased with my Invisalign progress too. I am in a social media group for Invisalign support and I can honestly say I have had no where near the queries and issues some have had with their dentists. So 5* deserved!

I’m always greeted with a smile and care from the minute I open the door, to the minute I leave. My dentist Adam puddle is always so careful and welcoming, I would never want to go anywhere else!

Initially nervous but short lived after meeting Lucy and her team. Would highly recommend Laffan dental. Lucy is very enthusiastic and loves her job which is evident in the work she puts in and the top quality outcomes she achieves. Felt safe visiting during COVID with the precautions they had in place.
