.just got my new mx219's. Really comfortable shoes. Perfectly wide and comfy at the forefoot, but slightly loose at the ankles. ( Usually the case for all my footwear. ) Had my first 120 mi ride on these and they felt amazing the whole way through. Legs never felt sore, didn't feel like repositioning either. I definitely want to try the leather versions but afraid of maintaining them. Would recommend them 100% to anyone with wide feet.

Worth every penny. First, the delivery of Lake products is very quick. The advice on fit and clip placement is on point. And these are the best cycling shoes I've ever had. So comfortable. Performance forward. Ample toe room without forcing my toes to grip. The ankle is hugged, so no slipping. Love the ventilation. And I'm a lace girl so two thumbs up for that.

I purchased a pair of lake MXZ120 Mtb boots/shoes, following the advice online to go one size up. Without doubt the most comfortable pair of cycling shoes I have ever bought, and at 50% off it was a bargain!

I’ve got 4E feet with a high instep and arch and developed bunions. Boa systems and shoes with seams were killing my feet. I saw the lace up MX21Gs came with the wide, extra volume last and decided to give them a go. No seams meant nothing to aggravate pressure points and the laces let me expand the vamps to get my Fred Flintstone feet in the shoes. Voilà! I was able to do two 3+ hour rides last weekend with no discomfort. I actually told my wife these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own—including my Birkenstocks. Or, at least close.

Recommended by my bike fitter, as do many others. Cycling shoes where the wide fit is just that - wide. No more going up a size in length just to get a comfortable fit width wise.

I traveled from Cumbria to Matlock and had a shoefit with UK Bikefit. Awesome advice and they ordered my shoes - MX201s. I absolutely love them and can't fault them - I mainly ride gravel so the ability to hike a bike in shoes with some off cleat grip is important.

20 years ago I wore lake mtb shoes and they were great, now again im wearing lake road shoes for the wider toe box, yep the fit good and are comfortable, I have ridden once in my new shoes so far, and time will tell.

I recently bought a new pair of CX333's. These are probably my 4th or 5th pair of Lakes, after suffering through shoes from other brands.
I am not a pro or a racer, but demand a stiff shoe for power transfer. The other shoes didnt offer enough wiggle room in the toe box, so on long rides I was miserable due to foot discomfort.
Thankfully I discovered Lake.
This is also the first time I ordered shoes online (others were purchased in a bike shop). The online ordering and shipping were flawless, and I am now a few weeks into riding with my new shoes.

Great shoes! My new CX302 shoes are fantastic! Not only are they incredibly light (lightest available I'm told), they solved a minor foot pain issue I was having with my old shoes (Fizik R5 Tempo Overcurve). The Fizik shoes had limited fore-aft cleat adjustment range. But, the Lake shoes allow LOTs of rearward cleat placement. This takes pressure off the forefoot (my issue) and allows better power transfer. The CX302 shoes were very comfortabe straight put of the box. Highly Recommended!

Just purchased my 3rd pair of cycling shoes from these guys.. ive had the other 2 pair for over 15 years now i rotate them for daily punishment on my trainer.. they have been tested and left to dry.. just got some wide versions for some longer riding..

I liked the shoes initially but they soon started to fall apart, the customer services team were really unhelpful and rude.

I have been riding in Lake shoes for about 8 years. It was time to replace my aging gravel shoes and so I looked for new ones. i was happy to see that they are now offering wider toe boxes and ordered a new pair. They arrived in record time. I was using them the very next weekend. They fit great. No more sore feet . Could not be happier.

After paying £6 for ‘Express Delivery’ - no sign of the shoes I ordered and the courier has not received them - awaiting parcel. Tried contacting them to no avail. No communication. I am sure they are great shoes - if I receive them - but customer services leaves alot to be desired. Should have ordered S Works !

The online shoe sizing app is accurate. The shoes fit perfectly. I appreciate the wide sizes.

Appreciate the ability to order directly from manufacturer. There aren’t a lot of wide mtb shoe options - very happy with my purchase. Filtering options when browsing could use some improvements.
