Was an awesome day out. We came over from Australia and brought the perfect weather with us. With the whole day free for the guys we made the most of it. Taken to all the right spots to get the best views and refreshments during the day. Perfect day with great people, we all had a great day, including the 82yo mother in law that came along as a pillion.

A unique opportunity to see some tt racers in action close up, while having a great ride out in the sunshine with great views. This was only made possible with help from Ian and his team to assist us mounting and dissmounting the bike due to reduced mobility. We couldn't have done this on our own and really appreciate the service. Thanks, we will be back !

I was here in the north of England for a few weeks, and some bikers that I knew in Spain recommend me to hire a bike and go to visit the Lake District, so I found Lake District Motorcycle Tours, and it has been a very positive experience, no problem at all booking the route, as I come from Spain for business I didn't bring my gear with me, but they have all the gear that is needed for the tour, we decided to go on with the advanced route, and it was amazing, very nice route through the passes of the Lake District, narrows roads and incredible views, the Benelli TRK is just the right bike for the job, not to big not to small, nice and comfortable to ride, and with enough engine to get you through the passes with no problem.
Thanks for everything, and as I told Ian, if per chance you find yourself in the north of Spain or planning a route just send me an email for whatever you need.

Toddy, Mitch and Helen were so friendly and helpful. As well as a lot of fun . The 60km lap of the Isle of Man was fabulous. Todd also got me into the Classic TT with an access all areas pass. Absolutely a fantastic day . 😊👍

When we were given a leaflet about the tour and left to contemplate our decision. It appealed to me more and more. I had driven some of the track by car but it never really gave me the experience. Thinking the only way to get a glimpse of what the TT riders experience is to do the circuit on two wheels. The experience was fantastic to see the lines the riders take and only imagine the speeds they travel is mind blowing. Dom & Ian were brilliant hosts very considerate and eager to ensure everyone visits what they want to see.

I'm so glad I took the opportunity to be a pillion passenger on a complete ride aroudn the TT/Manx Grand Prix race course this morning. It all started around 9am with putting on best quality motorcycle jacket and pants along with gloves and a choice of helmets to suit different head sizes. I was fortunate in being allocated to a bike riden by Ben Birchill, winner of 14 side car TT races. Ben took the lead from the start and rode the bike at a moderate speed with all other riders trailing behind. My view as a pillion passenger was totally unrestirceted and I thoroughty enjoyed the scenery all the way. We stopped and had a short break prior to our stopover at Snaefell, where we all had a tea/coffee and a snack. We then returned back to our start point in Douglas on the quay beside St Matthew's Church. Ian along with his wife Helen and daughter Chelle were very very professional in ensuring that the protective jacket and pants and helmet and gloves all fitted perfectly. Safety is clearly paramount to this company. It's been 60 years since I rode a motorcycle and I'm now somewhat interested in investing in a new motorcycle. I wish Ian and his family the very best with their tours and TT and Grand Prix ride days. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery all the way, in fact I do believe that you get a way better view as a Pillion passenger than either driving a car or as a passenger in the front seat. Ian provided an excellent preview of the tour over the TT track and prior to setting off he spoke about saftey matters and covered all aspects becaue he and his colleagues have a very high standard of training in order to ensure is safety is paramount. I was so fortunate that here I was a pillion passenger on a motorcycle being ridden by an outstanding champion. Ben Birchall is a very humble fellow and it was a great pleasure to be on a motorcycle with him; especial thanks to Ben. I am a 78 year old Australian here on holiday. I would like to come back next year and do the same again. Thank you Ian, Helen, and Chelle; you are very fine people.

We did the Advanced tour of the Lakes with Mike and Reece, covering a huge amount of the amazing mountain passes and views that the Lake District has to offer.
The tour was run impeccably from start to finish, with a real focus on customer safety, care and satisfaction.
Having lived in the Lakes most of my life, I'd ridden most of the individual passes before. However, I was so impressed in how the tour joined all the dots together in a way I'd never managed before. It made the days riding so relaxed and it all flowed together so well!
A flowing ride, plus coffee stops, plus a few history lessons along the way.
I can see this being a really excellent opportunity for riders visiting the area and looking to experience the Lake District on two wheels for the day!

I did a day tour of the Lakes with Lake District Motorcycle Tours. The way this tour is curated is absolutely extraordinary. We went through some gorgeous passes which interconnected the entire geography with narrow winding roads and some fast sweeping corners. We covered quite a bit in a day. The tour captain, knew the region like the back of his hand and had a good amount trivia to share about the route, and the road. I'm definitely looking forward to doing the Isle of Man trip with this company.

Our guide Ian Todd (Toddy) was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and great company. As someone who has never had any riding time in the Lake District, his understanding of the local roads proved invaluable and close to essential.

The Lake District is such a huge place, and whilst ”just riding around” can be a joy in itself this guided ride out is exactly what you need for finding those less travelled, perfect windy roads that us as bikers always see in our dreams!

Without this guided tour I would have had to waste so much time with trial and error trying to suss out the local area. What’s great is that since Toddy loves riding as much, or even more than the rest of us, all he wants to do is take us to the best places for the most unforgettable memories to take home with us.

Couldn’t ask for a better experience, super accommodating and friendly. If I could give a 7 star rating I would!
