Great safari. Driver was very respectful of elephants. Drove us home safely in a wild thunderstorm

Very good booking system and communications. Our driver Asela arrived on time. He drove very well and showed a lot of skill. Over two hours we watched about 150 elephants in three different parts of the park. Also saw an eagle, water buffalo and birds. A great trip. Thanks.

They never came to pick us up. We paid in advance. Waited for half an hour with our two kids. Never again!!

Excellent turned up on time good jeeps great service booked from australia was unsure how reliable the booking would be but they turned up on time smiling and awesome.

They arranged a jeep, driver and guide for us at Minneriya National Park and everything was first class with excellent communication. Had a wonderful unforgettable experience. Would certainly use them again.

Car was comfortable and air-conditioned and drove to the conditions that would be expected of a "westerner". We had other drivers when we were away but never felt as safe as we did on our drive with Christopher.

I have never been to Sri Lanka and knew very little people who can recommend a travel agent from there. After some research, I chose Lakpura from several companies I found in the internet. I was assigned to an agent who has been very helpful and very personal along the way, 100% gave his best effort to make everything work out. We had a very good trip, all the hotels went smoothly, right down to small details of hiring a naturalist to accompany us to Horton Plains, and my husband playing golf in the Nuwara Eliya golf club..
my word of advice, the investment you make for a wonderful holiday is a good collaboration between your agent and yourself. Self study and research on the areas, and reading reviews and forums will go a long way to help yourself and your agent plan the trip. The agent helps you calculate the time of travel and you can review the quality of time you will have. Its hard to spend more than 60% of the time in the car and rushing.. Do ask a lot of questions, right down to what kind of seats you prefer for the train rides. Give your agent a profile of yourself as a traveler.
Always bring a good guide book, so you can also have an overall knowledge and you can make new (but reasonable) decisions while you are on the road...
Lakpura is a trustworthy company to deal with, they are good with making land arrangements.

The reservation I made through online form and the reservation confirmation I received later was different (timing of safari). In addition, the selection of number of participants and jeeps in the online form is confusing.
But the safari itself was nice with good jeep and driver.
