Bottom line up front, great product!!!
I discovered Lakrids by Bülow as a result of doing genealogy believe it or not. I was born in the United States, but all of my ancestors come from either Scandinavia or the British Isles. King Harald "Bluetooth" Gormsson of Denmark and Norway is my 26th Great Grandfather. King Harald Sigurdsson Hardrada III of Norway is also my Great Grandfather. I've been learning all that I can about Scandinavian culture and history and licorice was something that piqued my interest. I don't drink alcohol, coffee, nor do I use any tobacco products. Candy has been my weakness and I've had to cut back out of concern for my growing waist size. Since buying my first batch of Lakrids, I've cut out all other candy from my diet. One or two pieces of Lakrids a day has been plenty to keep my sweet tooth satisfied. In two weeks I've dropped one waist size. Lakrids is expensive to acquire in the US, but I'll likely keep buying it since I've been able to maintain a portion of self control and ration how much I ingest. Number 1, A, and D are my favorites. My children like the Strawberries and Cream.

I have loved Lakrids since I first tasted the originals many years ago. So when I found myself on a trip to Denmark, I knew I had to visit the manufacturing plant! This tour does not disappoint! The thorough tour is led by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable employee. You have an opportunity to taste so many varieties and hear about (and maybe taste!) some trial run flavors. I was amazed that quality control was so picky about what went into the final jars for sale. I had dreams about taking home just the rejects! But it was not to be. As a consolation, however, you have an opportunity to purchase and get some extra bonuses. This is a uniquely Danish experience not to be missed if you are a licorice lover. ❤️❤️❤️

My family enjoy LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW. They are unique and delicious. Sadly, their shipping and customer service is very disappointing.
I live in Colorado where the summers are hot. I always select the option to add cold packs to my order.
My two-three day shipment took a week to receive. That was FedEx’s fault but the ultimate responsibility falls to the seller.
I received the product melted with one of the containers completely crushed and it’s contents all over the inside of the shipping package. This is due to the sellers packing of the fragile plastic containers in an envelope instead of a box for shipping. Finally, one of the three containers we purchased was stale with the licorice hard and almost unchewable.
I contacted the customer service twice and received no response.
Buyer beware!

Lakrids are my go to licorice. I just wish that classic was available year round.

USPS sent my package back and forth across the country delaying delivery for a week from expected delivery date. Perhaps a better service?

I always thought I hate licorice but a colleague introduced me to these passion fruit flavored ones. I don’t know that I have discovered anything as delicious and beautiful since my childhood Swiss chocolate obsession. Ordering is easy. Packaging is beautiful and secure. Product is elegant and is now my absolute favorite sweet.

Quality products. Like I so much we are flying to Copenhagen to take the factory tour.

I love the company and their product. They are a B Cott either a high quality chocolate covered licorice. Shipping is fast packaging is secure and stylish. I order from the frequently.

Discovered this licorice in Copenhagen! It’s the best in the world! So delicious and their flavor combinations are phenomenal! Wish they had stores in the states.

This is the second time we have ordered your delightful product. The first time was your advent calendar which was so much fun to sample, with all the many different flavors of chocolate covered licorice. I had spent a month in Iceland but waited to the last possible moment to try this unique sweet because I thought chocolate and black licorice was a strange combination. I loved it so much I regretted waiting to try it til the end of my journey. When your ad popped up about the advent calendar I was so excited to try it again. Both my husband and I enjoyed it so much we ordered more for ourselves and as gifts for our friends. Your packaging is elegant and the sweets yummy and unique. They make an elegant and suffocated hostess gift for people who are well traveled with good taste. We particularly enjoy your individual packets so that we don't over indulge, which is easy to do when you enjoy something so much.

Everything about this outfit is delightful. Ordering and shipping is easy and fast. The quality and variety of their liquorice choices is unrivalled, and the novelty of some of their flavours is beyond comparison.
I can't recommend them enough!

What's not to like? Sorted Foods gave us a glimpse of perfection when they reviewed the licorice, and we took a leap of faith. Boy did that ever work out! Seriously, the BEST licorice ever! Every flavor is impeccable, and some of them are wild, but fantastic! The Orange and Lemon ones were both insanely good, though our overall favorite has to be the Sour Strawberry and Sea Buckthorn. 100/10, will absolutely be buying more!

It was easy to order and the product arrived in a timely manner. I sent the advent calendar to a friend and they called immediately to tell me how gorgeous the product is. The best part was that I KNEW how yummy it would be when they tasted the treats. Everything about these licorices is elegant. The calendar is also a great way to offer a taste of the many flavors available. Maybe someone will send one to me!!!!

Very great tasting licorice! I have ordered the sweet and red. It is so difficult to get this kind of licorice in the US, I grew up in Pennsylvania and 50 years ago we could get the good stuff but now in CA it is nearly impossible. The delivery was quick, too! I know the licorice is a little pricey but definitely worth it. I hope the company will be in business for many years! Sue

I love everything about this product, except the fact now arrives as a melted lump. Even using the cool pack shipping, the half melted order arrived in the Arizona Desert with a little bag of warm water. So I guess unless there is a new protocol for shipping in the summer, this won’t be a year-round treat. That makes me sad - but I’d be happy to give that 5th star back if I can get Lakrids year ‘round!

Ever since a Friend sent me a jar of Lakrids 2 years ago I've been addicted to them!
I have tried over 12 flavors. I love the pairing of the licorice with the different chocolates and flavors.
It's an experience. I savor the taste that lingers.
The quality,the texture, the layers of flavors . Outstanding !
My problem is, I'm a licorice Ambassador, and I love sharing them with everyone!
I want everyone to love them like I do.
It's my one luxury.
