I love visiting here with my family, their lamb bhuna and mango lassi is to die for!

As I’m a full time carer for my disabled Mum, I don’t eat out as much as I used.
Today, my sister and niece came over and we decided to visit “Lala Peshawari” in Hounslow for a change from Taste of Pakistan- BIG MISTAKE!

We’re not big eaters so only ordered lamb chops, chicken Karahi, lamb kabli pulao, tandoori roti’s and a jug of mango lasso.

Lamb chops were so tiny, literally two tiny mouthfuls per chop - the meat part was the size of a fifty pence piece - complete rip off!

Chicken Karahi was mediocre and full of bones.

Kabli puloa was so bland, no flavour in the rice or the lamb shank.

Mango lassi was ok, nothing to write home about. Same with the tandoori roti’s.

When I went to pay the bill at the counter, I mentioned that the lamb chops were so tiny, the manager said “you should have complained before eating”. She further said they would have taken the lamb chops and thrown them at the butchers face! 😳
I was too focused on trying to eat and feeding Mum at the same time to even contemplate complaining.

Magnanimously, she took the service charge off the bill. I pointed out service charge is discretionary and I wouldn’t have paid it anyway! So no actual discount given.

Overall, completely disappointing experience, tasteless food, not worth the price and would not visit again or recommend it to others.

Absolutely pricey and food was terrible. Please avoid this place at any cost. We feel like we have been robbed by them just because of their name. Food was very far from ‘peshawar’. They serve us karahi’s in 5 minutes which was more than a joke. Please avoid them unless you want to waste your money.

Pathetic Customer service - Below average food - overpriced blend tasteless and worthless food - charged for something which was not even available on the day - The manager’s attitude was appalling and disgusting - Even a mediocre restaurant in my area tastes far better than this. Worst dining experience. They don't even deserve 1 star.
* Charsi Karahi was smelling and not cooked properly
* Nihari (What a waste) You better go to Aladdin Kebabish in Hendon and get 1000 times better tasting Nihari in far cheaper price.
*Chapali kebab - Useless taste.

All in all it was the worst experience.

Fair warning, do not go unless you want to be mugged and ripped off. There was no advertisement of there being service charges nor was it told to us. When we contacted the restaurant to discuss the situation, it was brushed off. Food arrived far too quickly and quality was like it was warmed up again (I.e not fresh).

Excellent authentic experience. Loved the food and the service was excellent. I had the mixed grill and the charsi chicken. Highly recommend both!

This place will now be my regular.

Very rude and bad customer service. You live in England so learn some manners and ethics of how to keep customers happy. Food is bland and expensive and kebabs dont look fresh but are frozen ready to microwave. And that chicjen charsi is a joke. I have tasted chicken charsi in Pakistan so I know what it should taste like. Who you fooling you cowboys. You look Bengali no Pakistani

We ordered Tawa Kheema, Chapali kabebs, Naan and Kheer.
All dishes were very tasty 😋 quality excellent service very good 👍

Came here with friends. The dishes were delicious, some were pretty average – but I had a nice meal overall.

Very good restaurant I must recommend to every to visit there . My first experience to go there in a very big group but there excellent service made our evening memorable.

I cannot fault this restaurant. It has exceeded expectations on quality of food and service.
There is a light and airy atmosphere, we had a party event there. The service was second to none, all with smiles.
The food portions were massive and very tasty. We ended up taking the rest home to enjoy the next day.
Both Afghan and Pakistan food were fresh and were delicious. We tried a few new things too.
All in all everyone enjoyed themselves and we will have no hesitation in recommending Lala Peshwari to others.

This guy Haroon who wrote such a big fake review about Lala Peshawari is a thug himself, this guy has written 6 reviews on Google and all of them are similar, utter rubbish it looks like he is being paid to write negative reviews about businesses, they charge you one extra naan? You are writing pages and pages of crap, wake up buddy and get off your periods and relax and tell me your address I will send you 5 pounds from my pocket so you stop bloody crying behind naan or roti! Lol ,

Besides everything this guy has to say Lala Peshawari is a treat to your taste buds in every bite there is authenticity of the true flavour of Pakistan! And both the owner and the LP team are * * * * * star service from the the time you enter the restaurant till the time you are out of the restaurant service is A1 pluss!

Went to eat with a friend on 22-06-2021 after he recommended because of its positive reviews online.
FIRST OF ALL BEWARE AS THEY WILL SNEAK AN EXTRA NAN OR ROTI OR ANY SMALL ITEM IN YOUR BILL WHICH WILL GO UNNOTICED OR IF GET CAUGHT SHOULD BE SEEN AS A MISTAKE BUT ACTULY LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE HABITUAL OF DOING IT.

Ordered 1 lamb shank biryani, 1 beef chapli kebab, 1 chicken reshmi kebab+ naan.
There was no difference between the beef chapli kebab and and the chicken reshmi kebab both were same in colour texture and contents i.e. dry as paper microwaved 90% vegetable mixture with 10% fat and no actual meat. looked like microwaved straight from the freezer not even fridge.
lamb shank was dry and stale again looked directly microwaved from freezer.
It is a jack of none place it is just a very bad mish mash of third class pathetic microwave food with a lethal combination of an arrogant owner and ignorant manager a complete recipe of failure.
Paid for our bill with only little food eaten and my friend got the rest packed for himself. Ordered only 1 nan which was not even touched but when checked the bill upon reaching home it had 2 nans and an extra brown roti charged. Called the resturant immediately and explained every thing to Shree and was told they will give me 1 naan and 1 roti next time i visit. Insisted on refund and to talk to a manager but was told manager is busy and she will talk to her by herself, put me on hold and came back and said her manager Shabnam is saying we can't refund like that and you will have to come down physically to get the refund, explained i live around 35-40 minutes drive from the resturant and it will be a massive inconvenience. I was told i will be compensated for the inconvenience.
Went back to restaurant yesterday on 26-06-2021 to get the refund and the compensation but was shocked when instead of apologising the rude manger Shabnam looked down at me and said O you just came back to get only a refund of £2;40. I was told to sit for 10 minutes so she can check and find my complaint from a big book of complaints to get a refund as they are not allowed to refund from here. Questioned why didn't she refunded when i called she started making excuses.
she tried to take picture of my credit card which i stopped.
after 10 minutes of waiting finally received a refund receipt from a Pakistani WhatsApp number.
No apology was made again by the rude manager Shabnam or the incompetent arrogant owner .
They were empty only had 3-4 small tables occupied and it was not even little busy to even claim it was a mistake.
I believe they are struggling and only surviving on furlough money or the government grant and are habitual in putting little extra items in the bill which can go unnoticed the shameless rude manager Shabnam told me she would have charged me an extra karahi.
So beware and check your bill if you still wish to go and eat the un authentic third class microwave junk and would like to be over charged.
This place should be called Lalla microwave junk or lalla fradiya or lalla Chor or all of it.

Best combination of Halal Pakistani food and excellent customer service, in the whole of the Hounslow,Uk. We order Chapli Kebab and Lamb Karahi was amazing in every way and perfectly blend of spices in it.
