I absolutely adore my La Mansio Bag. It's not just aesthetically pleasing, but incredibly practical too. What sets it apart is its versatility: for long distances, I wear it as a backpack, yet for shorter distances, I effortlessly transition it into a handbag mode. Despite these varying carrying styles, it remains a singular, exceptionally designed bag that can adapt to different needs. Its spacious interior can hold everything from my laptop to my water bottle with ease. The design is simply fantastic. A huge THANK YOU also goes out to the customer service team for their professionalism and swift responses. I am thoroughly impressed and have become a big fan. P.S.: I receive many compliments on the bag.

The order was very simple to place, with a wide choice of options (I love the makeup pouch that is used for many other things!), the personalized and regular follow-up is reassuring for the proper delivery of the package and in the end the bag is superb, practical, very beautiful finish, with a beautiful volume that allows you to put many things in a very organized way, I finally found the ideal bag ;)

I received my La Mansio' Heritage and Petit M bags a couple of days ago and I was really happy for the investment I made! Both look elegant and are very functional 😊 To receive it from China to Bulgaria took about a month. The support team were very helpful with all my questions and made the process smoother, while the local postal service and customs were not that available. I would advise customers to check at their customs if/ what VAT is there applied to parcels.

The bag is nice, but heavy cause it's leather (but that is not the companyy's fault i guess). That is to be considered with the buy. Otherwise i find it very pretty. Unfortunately, i have had issues with the zipper (it is popping open randomly, so it is not usable, especially as a backpack) and the handles (the seams are ripping open). It is a guarantee issue (1 year guarantee according to their statutes) and I have reported it to La Mansio via Email at the beginning of November 23. I have not received an answer, so i followed up with another E-Mail asking for a reply some weeks later. I have not heard anything since and I think they will not hold their guarantee promise, which means the bag has not even lasted one year (and the price is far too high for that). I have heard similar stories from other buyers. I think it is normal that there will be problems coming up with a new product, but i do not appreciate not following up on that and therefore providing bad customer service. I will update this review if I will receive an answer/the issue will be resolved eventually.

Update: LaMansio has reached out answering this review. After providing my original messages they first proposed some solutions that were not applicable for me (like a discount for a further purchase). After insisting on the processes provided by german law (replacement, refund or repair), we reached an agreement and I got a new bag. They were very friendly, included me in the replacement process and updated almost every day. I am now happy to have a new bag. As I haven't used it yet, I cannot attest to quality changes yet, but it looks very nice.

I am getting so many compliments everywhere I go with my Toscano La Mansio that I am making all my friends green with envy, as green as my Toscano :)
As much as it took almost 2 years before I received it via my investment through kickstarter.com, I believe it was truly worth it with all the rave reviews I am receiving.
Looking forward to new add-ons to make La Mansio even more versatile as ever... I basically purchased all the add-ons offered during the campaign.

Customer service is exemplary. I really like the quality and durability of the Black Saffiano bag. This is my favorite day to day business and travel bag. I am definitely getting the Duotone Coffee Saffianoone next.

The design of the product is great, very practical and good looking. The construction is solid and the materials also high quality, specially the leather. Far away from “fast fashion”. Almost everybody in my business trips praised it!
A quality problem came out after warranting period and the team acknowledged it and reacted very quickly to find a suitable solution. Customer service was excellent.

So grateful for the customer service team at La Mansio as they solved my problem. I have been one of their first supporters, when their campaign exploded on kickstarter. I have always believed in their project and trusted that they would deliver a beautiful product regardless the delay. There had been a delay, but they have been communicating openly so I kept positive. Unfortunately, once shipped I experienced some issues with shipping (not their fault) and I was desperate that I had lost the bags and my money. But thankfully, the La Mansio Team was very kind and found a solution for the issue, for which I am very grateful. It took a while but once I received my bags, I was so excited as they are exactly as expected! They are very beautiful and versatile. I am very happy about it and all its functions. Loving the black saffiano leather.

Had the exact same experience as others here. Received the bag as part of the initial launch (and after waiting literally years). The zipper broke on the second or third time I used it. I contacted customer service as this seems to be a defect (not to mention their warranty) and they offered to give me a replacement for 110$ USD - an incredible ripoff. Truly can't believe it. It seems like they did send free replacements for those who were in the initial launch and had defective zippers, so they should be doing the same for me, but they're not. (Also had a similar experience as others here with the handles peeling/tearing too, also after 2-3 uses. Wish I could post photos because this is absurd).

I'll write an update if anything changes, but avoid this company at all costs. I'm so mad at myself for falling for this.

I crowdfunded the first production line of the La Mansio bag and was very happy when I received it last November. I have used it very few times in official events and have very much taken care of the bag. Despite only using it like 10 times in total, today the zip broke completely out of the blue and it seems to be not repairable. Considering that the bag should be a high-quality item and it is also quite pricey, it should not be the case that the zip breaks so easily. I messaged the customer service today and hope to hear from them soon.

UPDATE: I got in touch with La Mansio's customer service and they helped finding a fair solution for my problem. I would like to point out that Emma from the customer service was very helpful and accommodating. Thank you very much!

I tried to reach the customer support for almost a month now, writing directions to their email (twice), in the contact form on website, in the chat on the website. I‘m not satisfied with the bag and want to return it, I wrote to them on the very next day I received the bag. Now it’s almost a month later, they don’t reply, and they have a 30-days return policy. How convenient.

The bag itself I didn’t like for multiple reasons.
1) there is no laptop compartment, that’s insane. This bag advertises itself as the most functional bag in the world, and there is not even a laptop compartment. You have to buy a separate addon for that. With a big discount I bought it for 236€, and I still think this is WAY too much for a bag that can’t even hold my laptop.
2) The looks are not that great. I ordered the green bag because it’s my fav color and it was a little cheaper, but this bag is not even leather, just some synthetic material. Very disappointing.
3) Feels kinda bulky to me too.

The only working feature that sets apart this mega expensive bag from others is the pocket for wet objects. But I still don’t think it’s that functional, as it is too small for my swimming suit + cap + glasses. And I wouldn’t go to the pool from the office tbh, I always go on weekend with my girlfriend and take a separate bag.

Overall, la mansio bag is useless for me and I really hope customer support notices this message and finally sends me return label or whatever they have to do to initiate return. I want my money back!!

I was amongst those who backed La Mansio as a start-up business on Kickstarter. My bags (reward) were held by the Turkish customs and I couldn't release it no matter what. I still wanted the bag so I reached out to La Mansio asking for a discount on my new bags since I was one of the backers, but La Mansio replied by shipping two new bags free of charge to my new location. I received the bags now and couldn't be happier with the product. 200% recommended!

This bag is beyond wonderful! Truly! I get nothing but compliments at school, in bars, or just walking down NYC streets. Countless people ask me "where is your bag from" or "may I take a picture of your bag?" It fits all my need as an Actor, student and traveler. The best thing is the company is growing and continuously makes improvements. They listen to their customers! I love that the company is created by Women, for a Women's life! No more pouches for every little item or just wide opens spaces, this bag provides versatility, organization, ease and style to my every day life. Whether it's casual or dressy! I have even had Men ask me about my bag! Finding it sleek and practical. So there you go La Mansio another market! I appreciate that the bag doesn't scream an idea of what feminine is. The piece is efficiently functional, versatile and stylish! Which every person loves. I'm so glad that the bag is not exclusive to anyone, but highlighted why it was created! I bought one for the Summer and Fall/Winters months. I bought my first bag in May 2023. My bag gets HEAVY use, from subways, to walking, yoga (those yoga mat straps are life!!!), traveling, auditions, you name it. I have put miles on this bag and it hasn't fallen apart by any means! But I want to make sure I don't abuse it, so I am rotating it with a different color to give it a break. La Mansio even recommended a leather conditioner for me to take care of my bag!

My Mamma just recently purchased her own, after seeing mines for two days. As a PhD. she chucked her bookbag and upgraded to her La Mansio and never looked back!!! It's a bag for every lifestyle no matter where you are in your life!

There is a place for every device you may have. From a laptop, tablet to cell phone. I even put my portable charger in there. A spot for feminine products, keys, sunglasses, water bottle, personal hygiene, (even my covid kit) all while still having room for my books, sweatshirt and any thing I throw in my bag!
Invest in this bag you will thank me, La Mansio and yourself everyday for it!!! 🤗

The bag is as advertised, clearly a lot if research has gone into finding out what the customer wants. I only unpacked it and tested the functionalities just now, but the materials seem to be of a very high quality.
When I ordered I didn’t receive any confirmation for a few days, but after I’d reached out to customer service I was assured within minutes and could follow the order afterwards.
If you’re doubting whether or not to get one, I’d say go for it.
