If you want a professional and friendly service these are the guys for you! My Mums house was not an easy one to sell as it was in need of some serious updating but L&D found many viewers for us and even after 2 lots of buyers pulled out they quickly found another which they followed through to completion. Daniel was particularly helpful as my main contact and the WhatsApp method of keeping in touch is brilliant. 🤩

I’ve used L&D Estate Agents to sell several properties and have been amazed by their service. Having worked in the property field for over 20 years, I’ve never come across an agent that works so closely with a seller. They truly went above and beyond at every stage.

Their fees were also far more competitive than other agents in the area, making their service excellent value.

A big thank you to Jon and his team for all the effort they put in – the properties were sold quickly despite the challenges. I would highly recommend L&D Estate Agents to anyone looking to sell.

I chose to work with L&D Estate Agents on the advice of a trusted friend who suggested my experience with a smaller agent would be better. I feel so grateful that I trusted Jon and the team to sell my house. It was an emotional process for me as I was selling a property after bereavement, and I feel this was approached with compassion.
From our first conversation, I knew that L&D were the right agents to sell the house. I received an honest and realistic evaluation. There was clear communication throughout. I felt I received good advice based on Jon's extensive career within the sector, and there was space to make my own decisions. My sale went through very quickly and with ease.
I also chose to work with their recommended solicitor, which was another great decision.
Overall, I had an excellent experience. I was drawn to L&D Agents because of the donation they make to Keech Cottage with each sale. They prove that beyond being community-minded, they are also trustworthy, competent, strategic and skilled agents.

Where to start? I’ll try and keep it concise but from the get go I was incredibly impressed with Jon and later Dan. I had 3 separate companies come for valuation and whilst they were all similar in their estimates, Jon from L&D had a personal touch. It was clear that he genuinely cared and by the end of the valuation, I felt like we could have been in the pub having a chat over the previous hour such was the ease of conversation, openness of Jon and his pragmatism. Despite being a relatively new, family based business Jon couldn’t have come across more professionally either and by the time I left I had no doubt in my mind I’d be using L&D to sell my house. They were very quick and responsive, organising photos and getting it up for sale within 24 hours of instruction which was impressive in itself, without any hassle. It’s worth noting that Jon could probably have a second career as a photographer given the quality of the photos taken to! What was even more impressive was their ability to attract prospective buyers, within the first week they had secured a number of viewings and a number of offers all of which were very reasonable and one achieving a very good price which we agreed on. They had sold it within a week at a price higher than I’d originally expected which was amazing and testament to their sales pitches. The performance from L&D didn’t stop there, they kept in regular contact and updated me at every turn throughout the sales process which unfortunately didn’t go as smoothly as we’d like. However, that was no fault of L&D at all and Dan was on it throughout, negotiating and chasing with the various third parties like a dog with a bone. Dan’s patience and perseverance was brilliant and if it wasn’t for his constant advice and reassurance when we hit stumbling blocks, I don’t know what I would have done. Thanks to L&D we finally completed and I cannot recommend them enough, I cannot say thank you enough and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent.
