Complete nightmare

Lane Health started off as a good thing I went months with autopay enabled and everything was fine. Suddenly, I'm prompted to relink my bank with autopay which I do and although my bank notifies me of the link, I keep being prompted. I had a payment due so I used their "ai" assistant to make the payment over the phone. That payment was deducted from my bank account immediately. I am still receiving calls that I owe that payment. I have emailed proof of it hitting my bank, I have spoken to customer services, who assured me they would get the issue resolved. It is now to the point where I can't make a payment online, I can't trust their automated system, and their customer service can't or won't fix the issue. I've emailed them and informed them not to contact me about any payments again until they can show my missing payments and fix their site. They have broken too many laws to even list, as it relates to contacting a debtor and collecting debt. I've saved all the emails, all the phone records, and bank records and I've contacted an attorney.

Scam Company

I open an account with Lane Health last year, I used the card once & paid that off. I then notice unauthorized charges show up but be declined. I also notice how my approved credit amount & available amount be different by more than $100, & what's being reported on my credit doesn't match either number. My card is now suspended even though i don't owe anything. I called Lane Health to see why it's suspended & you're not able to speak with a person, & their app don't allow you to cancel the account since you can't use it & won't let you remove your bank info. Your only option is to email which I did with no response this company is not worth using

Extremely Disappointing and Unethical Practices

I was approved for a $1,500 credit line with Lane Health, and my account was always in good standing. I never missed a payment and used the account responsibly for legitimate medical expenses. Despite this, my account was randomly closed without warning.
What is most concerning is that even after closing my account, Lane Health continued to draft payments from my bank account while simultaneously refusing to allow me to remove my bank information or access my account. I reached out repeatedly for over two months with no response. I received communication only after I threatened to contact an attorney.
At that point, I was told my account was closed due to my credit report — not because of failure to pay. If that is the case, it makes no sense why my credit limit was reduced every time I used the account to pay medical bills, which is exactly what the account is intended for.
This experience has been frustrating, stressful, and completely unprofessional. Closing an account without notice, continuing to withdraw funds, and ignoring customer communication for months is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering Lane Health to proceed carefully and monitor their account closely.

No excuse to not be able to talk to a human agent

I set up for this account to deduct my account. I emailed over and over and was responded to with the same reply. I was put into collections not even aware for 36.00 that has now blown up into 135.00, no one responds, no one to talk to, late fee after late fee after late fee. I had a 50.00 spending limit. I purchased glucose strips...Thats all. Please help!!!!!

judgmental and disappointing

Approved account and then a month later closed my account without ever using it and treated me like I am not someome who deservers healthcare assistance because of a drop in my credit score. I had major medical expenses and because of that I've had issues with trying to keep up with expenses everywhere else. I was trying to rely on Lane Health to space out some of these payments and get back on track - but they just close my account and would rather see me go into bankruptcy or die then to continue with the original offer of credit that they had offered me just a couple months ago.

Also I agree with the other poster below - this Jose Macias is the only representative that responds. I don't know if this is a scam or what this is. Or is this their only employee? I don't understand.

This company is a SCAM!

This company is a SCAM. I sent in a check to pay off the account and I am still fighting with them to post it to my account. They have cashed the check and it has been over three weeks (almost a month) and still nothing posted to my account.

Same person (Jose Macias) answers the phone every time and has a litany of excuses each time. He obviously works from home...dog barking...dishes clanking.

I have no choice but to pursue legal action at this point. Ridiculous! Run...don't walk...from this company!

I was offered a $2,950 line of credit…

I was offered a $2,950 line of credit and received physical card in mail within a couple of weeks. Setup the app, which reflected a full available balance and then proceeded to the dentist who told me that the card was declined. After calling and talking to a rep, I was told that my account had been closed by Lane. No further explanation was given and absolutely no notice was given of any potential challenge within the 35 days or so that I had the nonusable card/account. Point is, it’s pretty messed up to offer someone a line of credit for necessary health care purposes. Granted, my issue was only crown work related and not something far more serious, but you shouldn’t treat these situations like people are trying to splurge on a new tv-people could easily die as a consequence of these shady tactics…

HORRIBLE

If I could give this a negative rating, I would. I used this card for three months before they randomly closed it. If you try to call, no one ever answers the phone. It took me twenty two days to get a response to my email.

So I was approved for the card only for…

So I was approved for the card only for them to say that I am no longer approved based on an item they didn't like on my credit report. The irony is that this card was based on my income, not my credit. I sent over a paystub to be approved. So then they reduced my credit line, so I thought all was good. I went to use the card at Kaiser, and it was declined. Stay away from this card. The customer service people are also never in the office. They need to be clearer and upfront with their procedures and policies.

I don't understand card approval…

I don't understand card approval process, account was approved, I made an appointment with Dr for my daughter's visit, they closed account after we made Dr's appointment, they are playing games with peoples healthcare, please approve it or don't approve it or don't close it after approval., stop financing healthcare, this is not for you, you are in wrong business. I do not recommended this to any one, very unreliable and risky.
I was depending on this card, if I didn't have this card, I would have looked for something else or saved money, because of this Lane Health, healthcare willbe delayed for my daughter.

Don't use this company

If I could rate a negative number I would. The due date changes frequently. It's extremely difficult to link an account to repay the amount owed. I was unaware my first payment hadn't gone through and Lane Health had already started the process of turning my account over to collections. I'm not sure why they have a customer service because it does nothing when you try to make things right. Even after I was able to link an account to pay on their card and was able to use it again for medical needs I still received an email saying they were closing my account for non payment, despite my making payments. I wish I had done more research before signing with them. They don't report to the Better Business Bureau so they can make up their own rules. This company has caused me a lot of stress.

Card Closed Randomly

Card Closed Randomly
I loved the card - only got to use it once or twice before they randomly closed my card saying they randomly checked my credit. My credit is the same that it was when I applied and got approved for the card. It only lets me log in to make a payment but that's it. They randomly closed it but didn't tell me until days later + I have a dental bill that automatically comes off that card. I had the card for only about a month before this happened.
