Trying to buy a LAG with part exchange for a TAYLOR, not a tricky deal.
Taylor was mint apart from a tiny amount of fret wear on B string 2nd and 3rd fret, only needed a fret dressing, common process.
Sent three videos all way round guitar and got agreed condition. My Taylor guitar delivered and get text message confirming 'all good'!
So good stuff........well no, then the ability to be in the same postcode as the truth for this company seems to be a little much, and the delivery of the LAG becomes tricky to ascertain, and tought questions like tracking number please are like university challenge.
Company tells me LAG was coming by UPS, and sent me what appear to be a reference number for the LAG delivery.
The LAG delivery went sent to me as booking time as Monday at 14.46, the LAG was being collected on Tuesday, and next day delivery, so with me Wednesday.
Turns out Reference is not the delivery of my LAG, getting very nervous now. The reference given shows item already delivered. Thats odd?!? Panic setting in I've been done over.
Shock horror......
The next day (wednesday) I then get a notification of a DHL delivery from this company?! Why would this occur, my parcel has been booked for collection tuesday and through UPS delivery to me friday?
(Please note that my Taylor is with them as part ex all this time)
On the Thursday 10.00am I then get a message from DHL advising delivery cancelled. No reason given by DHL or this company.
I then get a message on the Friday that my Taylor is being returned.........shock horror the LAG disappears from the website.
So what happened? Apart from not being providing correct and accurate information this company held my Taylor for approx a week and then despite saying it was 'all good' in writing it did not respect or honour what was agreed. Be interesting to see what would happen if customers did the same??
If I had to guess the company sold LAG separately and haven't got the honesty to front up. Which make situation worse.
All round very poor customer service, and I'd suggest people think very long and hard about using this company, especially if you cant travel to their outlet.
I have experienced very little honesty and respect for my custom so will buy elsewhere.
