Ordered an Asus x570 motherboard and…

Ordered an Asus x570 motherboard and 1tb ssd. Paid extra for faster shipping. Ssd arrived in good time with no issues, but the motherboard was nowhere to be seen (turns out it wasn't even in stock). Queue chasing them through email and phone for 2 weeks trying to figure out when I would receive it. In fairness to them, they were always pleasant to deal with, even if the information I received often contradicted itself. They refunded the shipping costs after the delivery date had passed, and issued a full refund 2 weeks after, at my request.

My biggest issue is that I always had to chase them for information, none of this was volunteered.

This company is a con

I ordered a 8tb internal hdd for my desktop on the 15th July and the item arrived damaged. I am still waiting for a refund even though this was promised some time ago, this company is a con do not use them

Service is shockingly bad

Service is shockingly bad. Faulty TP Links and 10 months later, still no replacement. Email received once a week stating that they are doing their best to look into my case. Asked for videos, videos of the faulty TP Link! Sent this a few weeks back, no difference - AVOID!

I bought a laptop from them because i need one badly for work and college that is commencing. upon delivery the laptop arrived damaged as there were little to no protection with the packaging. this was unfortunate but no big deal as i simply called back to let them know. After about 5 days they came and collected the laptop from us on the 10th September. it is currently 23rd September. I still have no idea of what they are going to do. Email after email, still 0 progress. This is completely out of hand. I am missing out on work therefore i am not making income!!!!!! and my college course REQUIRES a laptop. been almost a MONTH for a laptop.

1-Star is being generous.

Save yourself months of hassle. Don't buy from this crowd. They will send you a faulty device, then make you jump through hoops for weeks on end for a simple refund/repair.

Bs business tactics

As title says - bad business tactics.

Advertise item as in stock when you order, it then says isn’t in stock after you ordered. Want customer support to deal with all this bs? Call a premium number!

Just the worst

Just the worst. Bought refurbished desktop. Arrived in open destroyed box. Unit itself is wonky, has clearly been dropped. Corner metal is all deformed. Massive dent and scratches on side. DVD drive moves around. Not a straight line on the thing. It's quite obvious that the damage was on when sent out. Customer care is non existent. Can't actually get to speak to anyone... unless i ring sales then, straight through although staff just transfer you into a dead line. Avoid at all costs. Received blanket email about returning good which is funny as they tell me how to package the item...

Approach this company with care

I ordered a laptop on August 18th which was indicated as in stock and I paid for delivery on August 21st. The third delviery date promised has passed with no delivery and no contact from the company to explain the delay.
The product ( Asus zenbook, 14", i5 processor is still on Laptops Direct website as being in stock and available for next day delivery on UK mainland! this is despiet me being told they were waiting for delivery from their suppliers.
To date, very poor service and I would certainly not recomend them to anyone.

Do not buy from this crowd

Do not buy from this crowd, said the item was in stock, a day before I was told it would arrive I was told it wouldn't be available for another 2 months. This business and it's sister companies seems to thrive on taking your order, your money and then refunding it 2 weeks later. Steer clear. Avoid.

Do not buy from this con company

Do not buy from this con company. Selling stock they do not have. The number they want you to call when they eventually let you know this is a premium number, another con. Then you have to hound them for a refund. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. Save your money for a more honest deserving company!! Bought an a1 rated iPhone the end of april (I am writing this review the last day of July!) It literally stopped working mere hours after it was delivered. Contacted the company and after many emails, photos and videos sent to them they finally agreed to have it picked up and to "look"at it. Needless to say the phone has gone "missing" and weeks after the same useless email of they are still "investigating" they tried to tell tell me via email they are closing the investigation because I missed their phone call while I was in work!! Now I have to take a different more legal approach to get my refund which is taking up more of my busy time. Not worth the hassle shop elsewhere!!

Laptop did not match description

Purchased a laptop from them back in early march (Medion Erazer P6605) which should have included a 1TB HDD and a 256GB SSD but when I got it it only had the SSD, no hard drive to be seen. Got onto customer support and demanded a replacement/repair of the product. It took TWO ENTIRE MONTHS of back-and-forth with their customer support who had extremely delayed responses (keep in mind, as soon as I sent in the ticket they responded within 2 days but after that they took weeks when I asked them to have me send the laptop back and get it either repaired or replaced).

They had finally said they would collect the laptop on the 12th of June, but only collected it a week later. We contacted them the day after they were supposed to collect it and they said it was already collected even though it was not.

And now on 22nd July, they've stated they cannot replace the product or repair it and have sent us a refund instead.

If you have bought a laptop from this company, MAKE SURE YOU GOT THE SPECIFICATIONS YOU PAID FOR!! Anyone who wouldn't have had a clue with computers would have been caught out by this. If they seem to not respond to messages, keep sending them emails. They seem to only respond when it's something of little effort.

Shop somewhere else, this place is not reliable!

They seemed to also pull the model that I purchased away from stock after they've been caught out. I've posted this on various social media sites to try and spread the word. Let your family and friends know that this is not the site to buy laptops from.

I ordered two headsets

I ordered two headsets, listed as 'in stock' at the beginning of May. I waited patiently. Mid May arrived and there was no sign. I checked my order status and 'awaiting stock' came up. Given that we are in the middle of a global pandemic I was understanding and even more patient. The deliver date was listed as 3rd of June.
That date came and went. Still no sign of my order. I checked the order status and 'awaiting stock' came up.
I sent an email and received what has since turned out to be a standard response. New delivery date was 15th of June, which came and went. New date listed as 3rd of July, which came and went with no sign of my order. Checked the order status and 'awaiting stock' came up. New delivery date of 15th of July I.e. today.
I have checked the order status and 'awaiting stock' has come up.
New delivery date in early August.
If I doesn't arrive today I'm cancelling the order.
I have been more than patient. The headsets were for my kids during the lockdown which is no over. Furthermore the headsets in question are now available in the shops.
Ridiculous carry on.
I will never use this company again

10 day delivery turned into 20,no refund when cancelled

Hi there...to those thinking about using this company please just skip these guys and find another company.you will be better off with elsewhere vs the minimal savings you may get here.

I ordered a monitor for my sons birthday..more than two weeks in advance.. the price was a little cheaper.you know the phrase if its too good to be true then there's something wrong.order bought and i got 10 days delivery ..ok that's workable i taught. checked each day on the track order in the email link and low and behold they've added 10 more days to the delivery without even an email or call. tried to contact them..got a standard response email back. wasn't even a person.so cancelled the order and figured ill use the refund to go local shop and get a monitor. 5 days they say to even get a reply... still nothing.they will take the money pretty fast but if you come looking your refund....wait and wait.

So anyone reading this..my advice is.. shop elsewhere..the small savings aren't worth it. use a more reputable company that's has an actual customer service. yes they will blame covid19 as an excuse for their poor business practices but we've been under covid19 for long enough to get it right.

tldr...DON'T SHOP with laptop direct

Faulty product (new) which came with warranty activated 3 months before I made a purchase. Complained, nothing resolved and just now received an email saying they've closed my ticket and if there's still an issue with the product I should submit a new ticket. Very disappointing.
