Great local business
Their seafood is all wild caught, in Canada by small family fishers. Yes, they're a little pricier than grocery stores but the quality is incomparable.

I am so glad I decided to buy our fish and shellfish from Larry's Catch. The products are delicious and much better than what I could find in my home city. The ordering process is easy, the delivery is fast and dependable and the fish are well packaged and frozen solid. I'm happy to support Canadian sustainable fisheries. And the customer service is fantastic!

I live on Vancouver Island and Larry's Catch is great even here.
I live on Vancouver Island and place my on-line orders on weekends. I have received 3 orders each over $150 to obtain free shipping to date.
Larry's crew does a great job and uses well-insulated boxes and adds extra dry ice to be sure my orders arrive rock-hard the following weekday. Fabulously fresh, frozen and vacuum-packed variety of fish!
My family is from Riverport, Nova Scotia.
It is such a treat to feel like I am back home!

Wild Caught Steel Head and Rainbow Trout
I had asked if one of their products they carry would be WILD CAUGHT Steelhead Trout and WILD Rainbow Trout, sadly they do not carry the fish, but would put it on there priority list.
I hope they do eventually FARMED SEAFOOD is not HEALTHY.

Excellent quality
The ordering process is simple and clear. They also provide recipes online.
As advertised, the fish was vacuum-packed and wrapped in dry ice. The seafood is excellent. The quality is unlike anything you buy from a grocery store. And best yet, I am supporting a Canadian company with fish caught in Canadian waters. We will absolutely order again, great product.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m really sorry your order didn’t arrive on the expected date.
This week we experienced an unexpected delay with our air carrier transporting shipments from the East Coast to BC due to a safety issue. The flight arrived late, which caused some orders to miss the handoff to the final-mile courier. Unfortunately, this was outside of our control, but we completely understand how frustrating that is.
While we don’t guarantee exact delivery timelines due to factors like air transit and weather, we do stand behind the quality of every order. If there are ever any issues when your order arrives, we will always make it right.
We’re also taking steps to improve this experience. As of June 2026, we plan to open a distribution centre in Vancouver, which will help shorten transit times and reduce the risk of delays like this in the future.

I completely understand your comment on quantity and value. In your case, the cooked lobster meat is one of our more premium products — it’s fully cooked claw, knuckle, & tail meat and typically represents the yield from 4 whole lobsters, which is why the portion can feel smaller compared to other items.
Being in Calgary (an extended delivery zone), shipping and logistics costs are also higher right now, which can impact overall value. That said, this is something we’re actively improving. With our new Vancouver distribution centre opening in June 2026, we expect to significantly reduce shipping distances and improve value for our Western Canada customers.
