I have been going to LCUK for a few years now as the service is usually quite good. I have had a few sessions at the Leicester branch but lived in Brighton for 3 years and would go there a lot. Brighton was always great. However, today my trust has been completely broken as I went to have a session at the Leicester location. The therapist was 15 mins. late for my appt. waltzing in with a Boots bag like she had just gone shopping. Then proceeds to tell me that because I have tattoos on my back (the area to be lasered) it will take her so much longer to cover them for safety reasons. She asks me why I haven't shaved better and I explain I can't see my back very well but did try to shave it. She responds rudely saying she needs to shave me and it will cost £45 extra. I agree to this but then she tells me that I have responded yes to having some recent sun exposure on the questionnaire. I explain I live between the UK and a hot, sunny place but I am not more tan than usual and have never been burned by a laser treatment before. I currently do not have a sunburn etc. She tells me she cannot proceed with the treatments of the 3 areas I paid for and that I will lose this session and have to rebook. She is extremely rude about everything and when I asked her to speak with her manager re. simply rescheduling in a few weeks if my skin is not suitable today she "goes to the back" to talk to her and 5 mins. later returns saying she said no and that she is in a meeting and therefore I cannot speak with them myself. Absolutely horrific customer service. She then starts raising her voice at me as I ask for a refund of all upcoming treatments instead of having to come back to this establishment (I have not used any of the packages btw). Proceeds to tell me I am being disgruntled and shouting at her?? Sorry what? Absolute scam of a company and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I usually visit the Nottingham clinic as I’m a university student there, and I’ve always had a positive experience. However, as I live in London during the holidays, I booked an appointment at the Camden clinic instead.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Camden clinic was disappointing. I have given it one star because I was accused of not paying for my appointment, even though I had already paid online. I had to show my payment receipt and appointment confirmation, and staff even took photos of them because they believed I hadn’t paid.

It later turned out that my original Friday appointment had been moved to Monday after I arrived on Friday wearing makeup, so the payment appeared to be linked to the wrong appointment. This misunderstanding could have been avoided if my booking had been checked properly before I was questioned.

The staff did apologise once they realised the mistake, but I don’t think the situation was handled professionally. Being accused of not paying when I had done everything correctly was embarrassing and left me feeling disappointed. My experiences at the Nottingham clinic have always been excellent.

I have used laser clinics grand central for the last 3yrs. Very good service each time. Polite and professional.

I visited the laser clinic (ilford) and was disappointed with the service. The staff were unfriendly and seemed rushed throughout my appointment, which made the experience feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. It felt like they were more focused on getting people in and out quickly rather than providing proper care or attention. Based on my visit, I wouldn’t recommend this clinic.

⭐️ Very disappointing experience

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this laser clinic. They refused to carry out my underarm laser treatment, even though I explained that I was only going away for a short week to the north of France, where the climate is very similar to the UK. Despite my explanation, the staff member refused to treat me and spoke to me in a very dismissive and unpleasant manner, without giving me any proper explanation.

The reception was also very cold, and the overall attitude made me feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had issues with this clinic. They have already cancelled appointments I had booked, and I have travelled there for nothing on more than one occasion.

I completely understand that there are safety rules and precautions that need to be followed when having laser treatment. However, the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. I would have appreciated a little more respect, professionalism, and a clear explanation.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic.

My practitioner at Grand Central- Juwariya is amazing! She takes her time and is ever so efficient. She always makes me feel at ease during my laser session. An intrusive procedure which initally I was worried about is now a procedure which I'm left at ease. She is an absoulte asset to the firm. My judgment is from having two different practitioners there Juwariya has been amazing!

Extremely Disappointed – Facial Hair Became Worse After TreatmentI am extremely disappointed with my experience at this clinic. The facial hair removal treatment did not work at all. In fact, the hair on my face has increased significantly and become much thicker since starting the laser sessions.Before having laser treatment, I never had to use a razor on my face. Now, I have to shave every couple of days just to manage the excessive hair growth. This has had a huge impact on my confidence and has negatively affected my daily life.Whenever I raised concerns about the very noticeable increase in facial hair, the clinic repeatedly blamed my hormones rather than taking any responsibility or showing genuine concern. The consultant consistently defended the company and behaved in a very unprofessional manner, making me feel as though the situation was somehow my fault.What was most upsetting was the complete lack of empathy for the emotional impact this has had on me. My concerns were dismissed, and I was repeatedly encouraged to purchase more sessions with promises that I would see better results. Instead of addressing the problem, I felt isolated and ignored.This experience has been heartbreaking and has seriously damaged my confidence and self-esteem. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. In my experience, they were unwilling to take accountability for poor results and more interested in selling additional treatments than supporting their clients when things went wrong.

I have been visiting this clinic for a while. I had a different staff member treating me. She wasn’t professional and lacked communication. She didn’t ask me how I felt throughout the session or talk. She forgot some areas which I had to remind her. She also didn’t use the appropriate equipment (spatula) for my intimate area and asked me to use my hands which I’ve never been asked by any other therapist. I had to ask her for it.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience for anyone considering laser hair removal.

I recently moved to the Southampton area and booked facial laser hair removal at Laser Clinics UK, having previously undergone Candela GentleMax Pro laser treatments elsewhere for the past two years with consistently good results. I therefore have a good understanding of how my skin responds to treatment and what a properly delivered session should feel like.

The technician who carried out my treatment was polite, professional and explained the process well. I told her at the time that my opinion would ultimately be based on the results rather than the consultation itself.

I arrived with my face freshly shaved, as requested, despite shaving being offered as an additional paid service. During the treatment, I felt virtually no sensation from the laser. From my previous experience, even with a comfortable treatment, you would normally expect to feel some degree of warmth or cooling. It appeared that an extremely low setting was used.

Unfortunately, within just two days, my skin looked no different from having had a normal shave, with visible regrowth already apparent. I also noticed that not every area of my face appeared to have been treated thoroughly.

I contacted the clinic to discuss my concerns, hoping they would take them seriously. Instead, I found the response from the manager disappointing. Rather than addressing the issues or exploring whether the treatment settings had been appropriate, I was effectively told that perhaps this was not the right clinic for me. I found this dismissive and unhelpful, particularly given my previous experience with the same laser technology elsewhere.

I came away feeling that I had spent money on a treatment that delivered no meaningful result. My concern is not that one session failed to achieve permanent hair reduction, as I fully understand laser hair removal requires multiple sessions. My concern is that this session itself felt significantly underpowered compared with previous treatments and produced no noticeable effect.

If you are completely new to laser hair removal, you may not have anything to compare it with. However, if you have experience with laser treatments, know how your skin responds, and are looking for a clinic that delivers effective treatments alongside responsive customer care, this was not my experience.

This review is not written out of frustration but out of genuine disappointment. I hope it helps others make an informed decision before investing their money.

Had fantastic Iqrah doing my treatment today. Very professional, attentive, caring and experienced Therapist. Highly reccomend her.

After having to complain on numerous factors, one being staff being inconsistent on treatments, shops closing down and having to travel further without any acknowledgment. Long waiting on response inconsistency in management I feel this company was a total waste of my time and money! I still had two free sessions awarded to me from last manager and new manager embarrassed me in front of other customers staying I need to pay I already paid over £800! FULL LEG, FRMALE HOLLYWOOD AND UNDERARM. The work was patchy and not done correctly so all that money I spent and still very hairy! Thankyou you so much! I have been to this salon twice for laser hair removal.

The first appointment went well overall, although I felt that the therapist seemed unhappy and carried out the treatment as if she didn’t really want to be there.

My second appointment was today. She was much friendlier, smiled, and even had a nice conversation with me. The treatment itself seemed to go well, although I felt like some areas may have been missed during the laser session.

Unfortunately, what happened at the end completely changed my impression of the experience.

When it was time to pay, the therapist unexpectedly started talking about my mother, even though there had been no previous conversation about her. She told me to let my mum know that she could receive a 50% discount within the next three months. For context, my mother lives in another country, while I am 19 years old, live independently in Brighton, and pay all of my own expenses.

Then, just before I paid, she asked me, with what felt like a forced smile, “Who pays for your treatment – you or your mum?”

I found this question extremely inappropriate and unnecessary. It made me feel judged and as though she assumed I couldn’t pay for my own treatment. When I replied that I pay for everything myself, her smile disappeared and she simply processed the payment.

If it hadn’t been for this interaction, I would have happily recommended this salon to others. However, being asked such a personal and disrespectful question left a very negative impression. Professionalism is not only about performing a treatment well, but also about treating clients with respect and avoiding assumptions about their personal or financial circumstances.

I purchased 17sessions at Broadway Bradford and in all the sessions they covered my chin area with jawline but suddenly today they said they can't do the jawline area and because the team is changed it is the team's with to do things and have not considered my argument at all. The service lady was so rude. Highly disappointing and dissatisfied. I wouldn't recommend this store. Poor customer service. The pack we purchased is also not transparent. The system doesn't send you a receipt and you cannot track the package. You have to trust whatever they say. 2 days back they said I have 2 more sessions to do with my package through phone call but today they said I need to pay and I don't have any sessions in my package. Don't recommend this store

I have been going laser clinics for almost 2 years, and I’ve always had a good experience every time. Laser has been doing me wonders as well! I always try and go see the same person who is Mara, she’s amazing and lovely! Always have a good experience with her!

Came from Paris to UK to have laser done and Zana was my therapist and she was honestly one of best laser therapists I've ever had and I've been doing it for almost 15 years
