I recently underwent cataract surgery with Rakesh & Mike at Laser Vision (Prema) in Portsmouth, and I cannot find a greater way to express how life-changing this procedure has been. My sight has deteriorated rapidly over the last year due to various steroid based medications, and the improvement has been nothing short of miraculous. I can now drive again, participate in bowls, watch television and all without wearing glasses. Having been a wearer of glasses for 60 + years, I am now largely glasses free - If I could see any further, I'd be able to see the future! Not to mention I now remember just how colourful the world is! The team at Laser Vision have delivered an end to end exemplary service and I will be forever grateful. Thank you to you all, sincerely. I've recently had cataract surgery with Rakesh Jayaswal complicated by dry eyes caused by an auto immune disease. The service that I have received from Rakesh, Vicky and the team have been exceptional. Information regarding any procedure before and during the aftercare has always been important to me. Rakesh was both kind and took time to explain and answer all of my questions. Also being available for any additional questions via messaging. I was apprehensive about the surgery due to my dry eyes but should not have worried. I am now without glasses but will continue to see Rakesh for dry eyes. Thank you Rakesh and the team so much.

I have recently had Laser Eye Surgery with Rakesh at Laservision Prema Portsmouth, I was a little nervous before the treatment but I really had no need to be, the service and treatment I received from start to finish was just outstanding, they made me feel so relaxed and knew I was in safe hands, I have been back for a few check ups of which have been also just totally amazing, it has totally changed my life and I now have 20/20 vision which is something I haven't had since I was a young child, I honestly cant thank Rakesh, Kelly, Vicky and the rest of the team for such an excellent experience. I was very apprehensive about under going surgery to have my vision corrected but from the very first day Dr Tappin made me feel at ease.

I had to go for checks prior to the surgery and have had another 3 visits post surgery to ensure that everything was healing and I had no reoccurring issues.

I was advised clearly of how the procedure was going to take place, the risks, the duration and the potential recovery time.

I have a very high reflex to anything near my eyes but once I had the numbing drops I didn’t feel a thing during the whole procedure.

The op didn’t last long, there was no pain at all in any way and I now have better than perfect vision!

I am so happy and so impressed.

I was thinking of having LASIK for around a year before having the courage to book the consultation. I had done lots of research and watched tons of you tube videos!! My initial consolation with Mr Tappin was perfect. I had previously gone to a chain eye surgery company and was left feeling unsure as they had changed the location of the surgery and I wouldn’t actually meet the surgeon till the day of surgery! I couldn’t recommend Mr Tappin and Laservision enough, the day of the surgery came along and I was reassured and felt listed to. Mr Tappin even made special arrangements for my mum to sit in the waiting room with me to calm my nerves. The procedure was quick and painless and I could see immediately after! My left eye felt scratchy after a few days but that went within a week. The best decision I’ve ever made and honestly feel like I have a new lease of life! Thank you Mr Tappin and the Laservision team.

The experience was great because of the care I received from both Rakesh and all the other staff. Everything was fully explained to me and the follow up care from Rakesh on the phone the day after was very re-assuring also I was impressed be the level of follow up care at the hospital.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes (separately) by Rakesh Jayaswal at Laservision. This could have been a stressful experience. However, I felt comfortable and secure throughout the experience because of Rakesh and his team's professional and friendly approach. The outcome of the surgery was excellent. Mr Jayaswal is always very attentive and takes the time to listen.He never rushes the appointment and gives me the opportunity to discuss things with him.
He is a very caring person and I would not consider going to anyone other than him.

Just had my last check up following lens replacement surgery for reading, it has been the best thing I have ever done! 3 years on and my sight is as good as ever. Rakesh is highly skilled and put me completely at ease, before, during and after the surgery. Follow up check ups are thorough, I have felt completely looked after throughout my treatment period. I recommend wholeheartedly.

The Surgeon Rackesh was just 1st class..He's s true Gentleman and a master of his craft ... I had a cataract removed and had NO pain or problems what so ever...recommended for sure.

I recently had laser eye surgery at Laser Vision in the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and the whole experience was excellent. Mr Brahma and his team including Elise and Vikki on reception were extremely professional and caring.

I was under no pressure during the consultation and they gave me an honest and straightforward assessment of my options. I booked in for surgery a few weeks later and went from -4 in both eyes to better than 20/20 vision. I received all the information I needed throughout the process and the aftercare was very thorough. I was discharged last week and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

The drastic improvement in my eyesight is helping me to regain hope as an individual. From going from limited eyesight to what they had offered is truly amazing. What they have done for me, in giving me 6/4 vision from extremely limited eyesight is incredible. It feels super-human!
