Everyone was very nice through the whole process, an extremely kind consultant Mike Tappin took me through the whole laser eye process and was fantastic every step of the way and always available to ask questions at any point (in or out of the hospital) and the final result is a staggering improvement! Would highly recommend.

My treatment began in December and concluded in August following various laser treatments .

I found Mr Mike Tappin and all his staff to be friendly and informative at all times. Mr Tappin was never too busy to explain in detail all the procedures which were going to happen and to make sure I understood and was happy with what was to be done and the outcomes that were expected. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to family or friends. The hospitals were also efficient and coping quite well with the changed procedures required by the covid pandemic.

Just wanted to say how pleased I am with my laser eye procedure at Mount Alvernia. The whole process was well explained and carried out carefully at all stages by Mr Tappin and Geeta. They were both very reassuring and as the process was so quick it was over in no time. I am very pleased with my vision, which has been a complete success and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Dr Brahma and his team are fantastic. After the surgery I am no longer in need for glasses and have had no complications. The team was very informative and clear at all times. I'd recommend them to anyone that is thinking about going through this procedure - as I was recommended by a colleague. I wish I had done it sooner.

Mr Rakesh Jayaswal and Mr Michael Tappin were kind and professional as we’re all the team. I had to have lens replacement in both eyes due to cataracts caused by chemotherapy. The procedures were thoroughly explained and were painless. I am amazed to have really good vision in both eyes after wearing glasses/contact lenses for over 60 years. I would thoroughly recommend the team.

I'm very happy with the treatment under Rakesh Jayaswal. He was informative about the procedure, had a friendly and professional manner and good aftercare, phoning personally after each eye surgery, and checking out how I was feeling and answering any queries. We have agreed to review in 6 months time to see how things are then. Very prompt letters after the treatments and consultations, copying in my GP and optician keeping them in the picture.

The care and attention was the best. All along the surgeon kept me fully informed.

Everyone was professional- Mr Tappin and Geeta were particularly reassuring, always open to questions and professional. I felt I was in safe hands throughout even though was a little nervious just before the procedure.

My vision improved significantly instantly after the operation, but of course faced discomfort and pain as was informed clearly by the team, but thankfully for the first night only. Also am using my eye drops for dry eyes far less frequently now so hopefully will resolve in due course- although a couple of drops every day/ other day is nothing compared the the hassle of spectacles.

Ever since have been enjoying 20:20 vision free from glasses and contact lenses. I just need to remember to stop adjusting the non existent glasses on my nose!

Although I was apprehensive everyone made me feel comfortable and relatively relaxed. All of the staff were friendly and attentive making the experience as pleasant as possible.
Mr Jayaswal explained every thing that was going to happen and more importantly the reason.

My experience from the booking to the final operation was the most professional and friendly that I have encountered and the final result leading to excellent vision, no longer wearing glasses and having long and short sight. Rakesh and his team are brilliant and I would highly recommend them
especially to anyone who is slightly nervous of medical procedures as I am.

I received first class cataract surgery from Mike Tappin. He inserted a multi focal lens that has given me excellent near and distance vision in that eye. I selected Mr Tappin having read the excellent reviews on here. His surgery skills were a class above the NHS cataract surgery for a distance lens that I had received previously for my other eye. I'm delighted with the result and can't recommend him highly enough.

All of the staff at Laservision were so helpful throughout the whole process, the procedure was quick and I was able to see the next day! When I had some sensitivity to light after the procedure, they saw me the same afternoon and prescribed me some drops which helped settle it all down. I would highly recommend Mr Brahma and his team and the whole procedure has changed my life 10/10

I had Lasik surgery for short sightedness and astigmatism. Both of these were fully resolved and I am delighted with the outcome. Staff were very friendly and reassuring throughout especially durung the procedure. Communication from the admin team was excellent.

My only slight criticism is that I found some of the senior clinical team to be a bit dominating in their communication style when it came to responding to my questions. I guess this is because they are so experienced that they would instantly know the answer but as a lay person I needed to have more of a sense that I was being listened to and understood.

Having said that I would definitely go to Laser Vision if I needed another procedure and highly recommend them.
