Tried to buy an Ebay gift card on the Ebay website with our credit card (tried 3 times) - Launch denied every attempt even after we called our credit card company and they said we were clear to purchase. This whole episode was a big joke and a waste of precious time. Ebay needs to find another provider.

Just purchased a GC on Turo for $256 with my Cap1 CC and the charged shoed as declined but my card immediately charged and I have no gift card, I've emailed support at launce gc, since you cannot talk to a human, but I needed this immediately to book a car for tomorrow. Now I have no gc or available credit to book the trip.

Received a Gift Card for my birthday. Seems that the email was deleted in error. Reached out to the customer support and they located the gift card and resent to me. They got back to me within 30 minutes of my emailing them. Super efficient.

We were given a gift card for Airbnb Christmas of 2021, but never had a need to use it until Spring of 2024. We had lost the original gift certificate and were really worried about losing the original gift amount. We reached out for help and they were able to locate our certificate and give us the whole balance! They were quick and efficient and I appreciate their help!

I ordered 3 gift cards and had to come to the customer care center for assistance with 2 of them. They were very responsive and worked until all issues had been resolved. A great outcome!

Continuously my declining credit card when trying to purchase gift cards. Capital One says they are approving the charges, but Launch is declining them. Tried multiple times, using different card numbers with the same results.

Able to sort my request within the hour! Communicative and fast in an error i had made.

Update 3.20.24 My bank refunded the amount after filing with them. I am leaving this up as Launch Gift Cards response seems to deflect and deny, even after emailing their support and replying to their denials. Airbnb needs to cancel their contract with this company. Check other similar reviews. UPDATE 3.19.24 Airbnb Support was able to verify that the gift cards in question were purchased through their site and that the declined emails (and screenshots) that came from Launch Gift Cards, are indeed from them. Launch Gift Cards response is just another way to deflect ownership of their processing problem. Still do not have my money back, nor any gift cards. The Sam's club cards in question, have nothing to do with this as they are valid and worked fine.
UPDATE 3.15.24: LaunchGiftCrds, told trust pilot that this review was for a different company, trying to get this taken down instead of trying to solve the issue. If I didn't mark it as the correct company trust pilot would have taken it down. As shown by numerous people below, I've had a very similar experience, not to mention the emails come from Launch Gift Cards. What dirty tactics on their part. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! Why did a 3rd party chat bot show up on airbnb and promise a lower rate if I bought giftcards and then sent them a picture of a gift card? The when trying to order the gift card it declined 3 times, even after talking to my bank and had plenty of funds. Then I got suspicious after purchasing a gift card from Sam's club, that I didn't want to screenshot and hand over legitimate gift card to a chat bot that Airbnb support told me it wasn't them and was a scam. In the morning I checked my bank account and $500 dollars has been taken from my account from Airbnb. Who is Launch Gift Cards? How did you show up on Airbnb without announcing who I was even dealing with?! How did I know I was even dealing with someone other than Airbnb? You took my money and I never received gift cards?!? This is an absolute untrustworthy company. This is a complete SCAM

Quickly corrected the issue with an incorrect email address and sent my card out at once.

DoorDash would not help me with an incorrect phone number that was sent with a gift card. Launch helped right away!! So much love for them!

As soon as I got them the needed information they were able to find a gift card I had purchased that I deleted the confirmation email for.

I made an error in entering the email address. The staff kindly verified my order information and sent the gift card to the intended recipient. I'm grateful for their quick attention to helping me correct the error I made.

Hi, I had the same experience as the others. I bought the gift card for 300 € and the link did't open. So I couldn't get to the gift card code. I wrote to airbnb and to LGC custom support. Firts there was some automatic answers. But after 3 days, the Launch Gift Card sent my an e mail with my gift card pin code! This is the first time I purchased a Hopper gift card for my sister. There were some problems on her end, but when I emailed customer support, they responded the SAME DAY (almost unheard of in today’s companies) and totally resolved my issue! They were prompt, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I’m very happy with their customer care ❣️

I was having a big problem with the purchase of a DoorDash gift card
I was sending to a friend. Nobody at DoorDash was able to resolve my problem, over the course of two chats and a long phone conversation. When I finally saw that I could use Gift card launch for my problem, they were able to solve it for me almost immediately upon me providing the information that DoorDash had been unable to do anything with !

I would give a negative star if I could. This company posed as Uber Eats. Gift card was never sent.

Hideous, never delt with such a bad company. Airbnb unhook your wagon from this useless company before they take you down the drain with them. Stay far away from them! After more than a week and several hours on the phone by me, the recipient of the gift card, and several hours by my daughter in-law the buyer of the gift card, the problem was never resolved. A complete run-around. Launch told me to have the buyer call, I did. Launch told my daughter in-law to have me call. She sent proof of payment from her bank statement and yet the issue, most likely a corrupt link, that is all, was never fixed. Even Airbnb could not open the link to the gift card. Way more than a joke, a complete absence of job ethics on the part of Launch, and each person that we spoke with that was unable to fix what I would call an average problem. This is dated Jan. 3 2024, the issue started Christmas 2023. Is there is an issue? Well I guess not since my daughter in-law drove copies of the thread to her bank and put a stop payment on the transaction. Dear Launch or better Airbnb call me we can talk about it. Joanne
On of Jan. 4 I was told to have to have the purchaser contact them (see above she already did) and was informed that the cards are country specific. Yes, I explained to lady on first day that Washington and California are in the same country and the problem was opening it. Anybody read a thread before they reply, I already asked that on the first day. The problem is and always has been: the link will not work. As far as asking them to help open the link that is all we have ever done. The issue was never resolved therefore I never responded YES to their question was resolved. I did however respond NO I still need assistance. Via phone and in writing. Three gift cards were purchased on that day, two of the links worked fine, one mine did not. And since I'm at it: This is a different problem, I tried 4 times to buy an Airbnb gift card and had the same issue as others have had, the bank kicked it as fraud, two different banks that is two times each (and yes each bank was called between my attempt to purchase) and yet the purchase was declined.

I got the gift as a Secret Santa present from the company.

The link I received asks me for the order number and the name of the sender, how do I know?

I've been in touch for 3 weeks and nothing, no email from you. Terrible customer service.
