Poor cappuccino, poor customer service
If you want a great cappuccino, DON’T buy the Desea machine. A great cappuccino is distinguished by the froth on top and this just doesn’t deliver. The marketing video looks great, but by the time it is poured into a drinking cup, the froth is virtually all gone, more like a latte. It’s inconsistent with the quality. Customer service was no help as they just confirmed it works as it shows on the video.
Customer service and shipping are a Disaster
Their customer service and shipping are a disaster. They messed up my order from the start: sent the wrong FedEx tracking code in the confirmation email. Then they sent a duplicate (same invalid one again), then finally a "new" one. That tracking number still shows nothing useful no updates, no movement, zilch.
It's been over 2 weeks now, my order hasn't arrived, and every time I contact support, I get the exact same canned email response with the same wrong details, telling me to "be patient." No real help, no escalation, no resolution. Feels like they're just looping me.
Lavazza makes solid coffee, but if you can't deliver it or fix basic errors, what's the point? Wasted money and time. I'll start buying from other brands that actually ship properly. Avoid ordering direct from them.

My bank won’t refund my money because they say lavazza never sent me an actual delivery date and therefore is still an open account. I’m so pissed and will not do business with them again 🤬🤬🤬
Coffee YES / Mugs and Accessories NO
I always liked Lavazza coffee, so i ordered 3 bags of coffee beans and few other accessories, BIG MISTAKE. The coffee is decent, but the quality of their Cups and Mugs are terrible. The Logo on one of the Mugs is printed sideways, and the coffee clip/scoop feels like something you get from TEMU.
Get Illy Mugs and accessories instead.
Also, their customer service is a joke.

Too Strong, and It's BITTER!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only consumer hating the terrible taste of Lavazza coffee - in my case, Lavazza House Blend Perfetto, medium roast, ground coffee! I bought it since its T.V. commercials portray Lavazza blends as fine, Italian coffee. Yet I thought, "yuck!," as I took my first sip! This jet black coffee is TOO strong, and it's BITTER! I can't wait to finish using my 12 ounce pack of it, since I hate drinking it every morning! I added cold tap water to this morning's cup, just to wash away its nasty taste. I thought my automatic drip coffee maker needed to be cleaned. So, I ran cold, clear water through it recently, only to STILL frown, at the bad, Lavazza taste!

Coffee, Stress & a Screwdriver
One morning, instead of enjoying a cup of coffee from my espresso machine, I was greeted by a horrible grinding noise from the grinder. No coffee that day, just an evening spent disassembling the machine and pulling out a foreign object from the grinder, which came from a pack of Lavazza Crema e Aroma. It wasn’t a coffee bean, it was a hard piece that jammed the mechanism. Luckily, I managed to remove it and fix the machine myself, but it cost me a lot of nerves and the entire evening.
I truly feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t have a knack for repairs, because they’d be looking at a trip to the service center and a hefty repair bill. And in return? Lavazza sent me two packs of coffee. Yep. Two packs for a jammed grinder, wasted time, stress, a dozen emails, and having to stay home for a courier pickup of the remaining coffee and the mystery object. It feels almost disrespectful. I seriously doubt they don’t know what things cost, especially considering their coffee isn’t exactly cheap.
Communication with Lavazza was fairly smooth, and the coffee, when it doesn’t come with surprises, tastes good. But after this experience? Thanks, Lavazza, but I’m done.
Two stars for two packs. Though honestly, it should’ve been one, and I think you know that.

This is a review of Lavazza USA. I'm sorry I can't give them 10 stars. First, this is the best brand of coffee on the supermarket shelf. (I suggest ordering from their website: more variety and they are fresher than the shelf stock.) Lavazza is one of very few brands in the supermarket that offers 100% Arabica coffee. Their espresso beats Starbucks by a mile. But I am writing this review about Lavazza USA Customer Service. They are polite, communicative, and deserve the highest accolades for their willingness to rectify and please the customer. I have never had such a positive experience with a company's CSRs as with Lavazza USA . . . And more that once and with different reps: Jorge and Aileen. No company is perfect but they are the closest to it that you will find.

Contrary to several reviews i had a wonderful experiance with the US Customer service in NY. On Friday 9/19 25 i called customer service about my Classy Plus machine shorting the amount of expresso being dispersed and the double shot not functioning. I was transfered to their service technician who asked very few questions and then wanted to join my phones camera to view the issues. He gave me several test task to do while he viewed the machines operation. Within 6 minutes he determined the mother board had failed and he would send the customer service rep a report that the machine had failed and should be replaced. Later that Friday evening 9/19 I received a emai from the customer service rep. ( " Ms. "K") asking only when and where i had obtained the machine. On Tuesday the 23rd customer sercice orded their warehouse to ship me a replacement Classy Plus. Fed x received the machine on Wednesday the 23rd and it was delivered Saturday the 27th. I can't speak to any others prior service experiance but I found the Lavazza customer and my assigned rep Excellent. 9/27/25. John A. Naples Fl.

I ordered a machine and it really does not do as they suggest it would. I want to return it. they said its past teh 30 days. It isnt since delivery, and even the order date just hit 30 days. I asked for a return while still i nteh 30 days, but they waited until after that passed to reply to my request. Stay away from them, they are scamming people. THe 30 days should start after delivery, not the order date it took a week to deliver it.
Bad experience
I bought Lavazza coffee beans 1kg bag, from Lavazza's distributor - Vending Superstore. Bag had no expire date on it; and it arrived ripped.
I discussed issue with L Walker @ Vending Superstore, very difficult and unhelpful person, expressed bad attitude, and disputed issues brought up to them.
Lavazza aren't any better, they refer me back to Vending Superstore to people who are unhelpful, despite it was them (Lavazza), who released coffee bags with no expiry date.
Both businesses can't see a problem, won't collect and won't replace coffee bag / won't refund it either. Shocking customer service. Keep away from them.

This experience will certainly have an impact on business and future decisions here, due to very poor customer service and lack of adequate level of aftersales customer support. Issue will now be getting passed to Trading Standards.

I recently purchased a Lavazza espresso machine through Lavazza US, expecting the quality and authenticity the brand is known for. Unfortunately, the product turned out to be a complete letdown.
Firstly, the machine appeared to be fake or of extremely poor quality, not at all meeting the standards advertised. The materials and functionality felt cheap, and it did not operate as expected.
To make matters worse, the customer service experience was equally disappointing. When I reached out for assistance, I encountered unhelpful and dismissive responses. It was clear they had no intention of resolving my issue or addressing my concerns.
As someone who has trusted Lavazza for years, this experience has been incredibly frustrating and disheartening. I would strongly caution anyone considering a purchase from Lavazza US to think twice. It’s not worth the money or the hassle.

I live in Spain, I placed an order at Miravia in the Lavazza section. They gave me a delivery time of 3 days, 10 have passed and they still haven't sent it. They only know how to say that it is an internal error. poor customer service

Terrible customer service
My milk frother stopped working properly so I’ve contacted customer service and they were so unhelpful, it was unbelievable.
Didn’t make any effort to actually help understand why it wasn’t working well, only said my warranty had expired (yes, but for barely two weeks!), and the machine couldn’t be replaced.
The only piece of advice they could provide was “here’s a link to buy a new one, however there are currently no offers so it is full price”.
Shocking to say the least, no one in the right mind would purchase again, at its full price, a machine that stopped working the second the warranty expired…

Having been a dolce lungo modo mio pods lover almost every day for for 3 + years.
We are now very disappointed.
The latest batch ( use by 30th Nov 25), Lavazza have changed the beans ! Yak in comparison !
Bitter in comparison, no longer smooth..
The aroma while brewing is totally different.
One can only assume they are a different ( and cheaper bean).
Certainly bordering on being unpleasant in comparison to the past 3 years we have used them.
Have tried different boxes ( but with same expiry date) all the same.. bordering on unpleasant.
No indication on the outer box that anything has been changed.. SHAME ON LAVAZZA !
I shan't be buying any more, we have 3 boxes to get through, but Lavazza will have then lost our custom.
Lavazza what on earth have you done?

Poor shipping and worse customer support
I placed 1 order with 2 items. 1 item arrived, 1 item could not be delivered due to incorrect address. The post office said the address label had not been printed correctly and was missing the street number and street name. The Lavazza support team said my address needed amending in their system.
They won't resend the item, instead they refund it and tell me to place my order again. And dont forget to pay for those shipping costs. Please accept our sincerest apologies.

Unreal how little they care about their products or services
...so sad to see all these other folks having the same terrible experience I'm having, with Lavazza. I am shocked at how badly they operate, I mean they literally couldn't care less. Sadder still, they make the best dark roast decaf (Kicking Horse) I've ever had, but about 18 months ago raised their prices by 300%, and I couldn't even find them in stores anymore. Now ordering online is a nightmare. You will not be sent what you buy and no one in their "customer service" dept cares about that, either. Yeeesh. What is the point. PS Its the same if you try to order them thru Walmart. They take your money, promise you "Next day Delivery", then never even ship the item. Had to wait 6 days just to request a refund even tho tracking showed it was never even shipped.
