Service is great and stays on schedule. Easy to skip or change scheduled dates. If there is any disruptions they let you know in advance. Always quick to let you know what service is needed/coming up with the seasons. The only thing I would recommend is keeping an eye on costs and double checking quotes. Service fees changed via email when everything else is communicated through text/app and I found out after 2 services had already happened. And quotes were changed once they started working, even after I verified the work/area to confirm as it seemed “too good to be true.”
Been using them since early 2025 maybe even 2024. Great company!

A company representing Lawn Starter contacted me and offered to refund the money I was charged for 'lawn treatment'. To receive this refund I had to agree to take down my 1 star review. I said 'no' and I'm keeping the review. People need to be aware of what this company can do to you and I will not agree to have my review bought off by Lawn Starter.
I hired Lawn Starter on the phone on 4/17/26. They quoted a cost of $50 per cut. They only cut my lawn twice in the last month. My bill total for the last month is $277.49. I called them and was told that the extra charges were related to the 'lawn treatment'. I did not ask for lawn treatment and I did not sign anything related to lawn treatment. Their rep advised me that I could cancel the lawn treatment (I never signed for it) but I was required to have a third cut before I could cancel. I told them I would file a complaint with the Consumer Protection in NC. I was put on hold and after a wait, I was advised that they would make a 'special allowance' in my case and cancel immediately. These people are completely untrustworthy, charge for things you didn't agree to and resist letting you cancel. If you go with them, good luck.

I really appreciate the care my lawn is getting. The weather has been unpredictable with rain snow and rain. Each scheduled time missed there has been an email from with Mr. J. Each time a new date is determined. I am completely satisfied with the service I am getting. Lawn Starter has been great with checking in on my service as well.
