Do not buy duvets online from this company!! Quality of the product does not deliver against the price and when you take it out of the packet to discover this - and actually view the product you’ve purchased - they then won’t accept your return. They also promise a 10% discount code on signing up to their newsletter which never materialised (and my query regarding this was totally ignored). Clearly trying to masquerade as an online retailer when they are not equipped to operate as one!! But elsewhere!!

I have made 2 purchases at Lawsons web site, first impression was good, the outcome is very disappointing.

In my first order there were 2 Le Creuset gratin dishes that arrived packed without the original packaging. They also had minor cosmetic scratches but they were priced good so I let it go.

In the second order there was also a Le Creuset cast iron oval casserole that has arrived damaged, the lid has been chipped. I have immediately contacted the seller and soon received a cold shower.

Seller would not take any responsibility about it due to the fact the package has been forwarded by another courier service to my country.

I need to stress the package has *not* been opened, repacked or damaged in any way, not the outer box nor the inner original packaging. If the package arrived damaged I would refuse it or open it in front of the delivery man to check on the content. Therefore it is fair to assume the item has been packed already damaged. Also the chipped part was not to be found in the original box.

In the unlikely event of the casserole being damaged on the way, it is impossible to determine when and how it has happened (again, if this was the case, the chipped part should have been in the box). The seller's stance of blatantly blaming the forwarding shipping company is a sign of complete ignorance, they wouldn't even have the casserole for inspection.

I must stress that the forwarding company I am using is extremely reliable and I use them all the time. They have safely transferred for me expensive porcelain, wine glasses, wine bottles and other Le Creuset items etc. without a single issue.

I have asked the seller to replace only the lid as I fancy the casserole a lot but they wouldn't hear about it. Very upsetting as Le Creuset cast iron products are very expensive:-(

I certainly will not be buying here again.

After searching the internet for Dorma bedding Lawsons came into the frame.
They offered the items we wanted at a better price than some of the larger companies and they were in stock.
We had a call from one of their shops on Monday midday to inform us that the items ordered Sunday evening were ready for collection.

EXCELLENT SERVICE CAME THE NEXT DAY

Lovely product at a good price delivered on time and well wrapped the only problem being on the advertising website it said that postage and packing was £5 but when you went checkout it registered £6

I have bought Easiyo yoghurts from Lawson's a couple of times now and would recommend them to anyone. Good price and fast delivery.

Delivery was most efficient but steep delivery cost was offset by excellent cost of items.
