Some say every day is a school day and today was no exception, it has been a very enjoyable learning experience. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts with clear explanations of each stage of the creative process. I would recommend it to anyone with an interest on wood bending. Thank you Layer tree.

I did a steam bending course on the 21st of July. What a lovely experience. Plenty of hands-on, good guidance and a lot of camaraderie with all of the participants.

I had a brilliant day at the tray making workshop in Myles and Madeleine's idyllic space. They put a lot of thought into making sure everyone has a great time. It was great to learn about their design process, and getting to work with some beautiful materials. Would highly recommend!

A thoroughly enjoyable and interesting day in conducive surroundings. Madeleine and Myles made us very welcome and guided us through the processes of wood steaming and bending giving us lots of opportunities to try different pieces of wood whilst at the same time working on our beautiful trays. Don’t be put off if you’ve never worked with wood before, Madeleine and Myles were kind, supportive, excellent teachers demonstrating all techniques and giving help whenever needed. I highly recommend this course and am delighted with the end product.

Learning about wood and bending oak was fascinating and then creating a beautiful tray in the lovely Suffolk countryside

I saw LayerTree products and team at the Blackthorpe Barn (Rougham) Christmas Market. I purchased the hanging bird feeder as it was unique in design and thoughtfully made. It hangs from a branch of my apple tree and am delighted to advise it has survived numerous gale storms whilst providing the robins, finches and of course, the pigeons, food over the winter period. I'm looking forward to see what the seasonal changes will bring. I am also hoping to join in on one of the LayerTree wood courses.
