poor quality love seat and very rude and disrespectful staff person
I have been having major mechanical problems with love seat. They were out once to " fix" problem and twice after that they never showed up. I was finally told by North Olmsted store over a month ago that I would be getting a new love seat. I called today to inquire status and was told by Kevin it would be after the second week of Dec. I tried to explain the seriousness of this unsafe love seat and he became very angry and yelled "why are you giving me attitude , I have nothing to do with service dept. If you want them to come out you will have to pay." I was mortified in how he spoke to me. This is quite unbecoming of a sales person. I have been a loyal as has my family Lazy boy customer for 40 years. NEVER AGAIN.

I ordered a living room set (Couch and 2 chairs) on 7-5-2020 online. I followed up in August once the 6-8 weeks expired. Was told it would be ready early October. I followed up Oct. 8th and got a response "due to covid" it would not be ready until January 2021! I have no living room furniture for the holidays!!!. I am cancelling my order based on poor customer service and reading the other custom4er reviews here online.

My sales person Judy Sforzlnl at the Pleasant Hill, CA store provided superb service in the furniture that I ordered. It arrived yesterday and I absolutely love it! The delivery staff were punctual, pleasant, and efficient in setting it all up. Thanks Judy for helping me design such a beautiful setting for my new home.
You were outstanding. I highly recommend your services.
We recently bought two La-Z-Boy aniline…
We recently bought two La-Z-Boy aniline leather recliners to replace two similar recliners also made by La-Z-Boy. The original recliners were in place for 14 years and the stitching on the arms failed, but otherwise they were OK. They were leather and except for the stitching were still very good looking.
The new recliners were in place for less than six months and it was noticed they had faded a lot on the sides facing the windows. La-Z-Boy customer service was contacted and they refused to honor the warranty claiming fading is not a manufacturing defect. The advertisement said the leather would retain its colors (like the originals did) and the warranty does not exclude fading. Despite that, La-Z-Boy refuses to honor the warranty, and they blame us for the fading. If there was no manufacturing defect that caused fading as La-Z-Boy says then their advertising is false and deceptive because their claims of color retention are big, bold and are not amended with any statement about fading.
Now we know by doing a lot of research that aniline leather has the worst possible fade resistance despite what the La-Z-Boy’s false advertising claims. We also know we are not alone in dealing with this problem. In fact there is a web site lazyboylies dot com that has been put up by a very mad consumer who seeks others with the same problem to join a class action lawsuit. This issue is moving through the courts.
Go to the web site and register your name. There is no cost and once the class action lawsuit is certified we all stand to get our money refunded. This class action lawsuit will not cost us a penny and all that is needed now is upset customers of La-Z-Boy like me from all over the country to get La-Z-Boy’s undivided attention. I have gone to the lazyboylies dot com web site and sent in my name and email address. It is time La-Z-Boy and its lousy customer service gets to pay for how poorly it treats its customers.

Pretty certain this isnt the right review board.
Bought mine from scs. Was so pleased that i bought my parents 1 too.
10 years later and still no faults at all i fancied a change, so just went for a look, bought a tamla corner and a 3 seat sofa, all in power recline.
Had them 6 months now without a blemish.
Well gone la z boy and scs for amazing customer satisfaction!
Can't get any better.
La z boy aren't on trust pilot, look at who owns it before you judge.
Don't know how these sofas deserve such a low score on a site that's not been claimed by them!? 🤔
You guys who leave bad reviews, get a grip.
My parents had theirs over 40 years, I'm onto my 2nd as I fancied a change of design.
Always bought from scs, as have my parents, friends and family, not one complaint from us.
Love the comfort, durability, design and strength.💪
Keep up the great work, looking forward to more designs in the future! 👏👌
Worse customer service ever from SCS in…
Worse customer service ever from SCS in reference to my lazy boy sofa. Foam underneath the seats ahead bunch up due to a manufacturing fault however no one interested and constantly had to fight to get them out eventually repaired however has again happens again over a year later so now it’s starts again they are not interested in listening and all they want to do is charge you with no help. I would never buy anything from SCs And certainly the lazy boy is way overpriced and I have had nothing but trouble with both my sofas
Lazy Boy Customer Service offers little service at all
We have been buying Lazy Boy products for 38 years. 32 years we were happy to have made our purchases and he’d no problems with our couches or recliners. About 5 years ago we purchased a large re liner for $1,600 on sale ( $400 off regular price). 14 months after purchase we noticed a large tear in the fabric under the head cushion. We contacted Customer Service and after speaking to four different people they decide to send us a brand new chair back which include the cushion. We figured it was just a manufacturing flaw and were satisfied since they replaced the damaged part. A year ago we purchased a new Lazy Boy recliner for $1,300 at the Dover, NJ Lazy Boy Gallery. After having it for 9 months we noticed the head rest cushion was peeling off the color. We called the store and after hearing my complaint I was referred to Customer Service Agent #15. I explained the problem and she said my head and body oil was causing the leather to peel. I argued that we were faithful Lazy Boy customers for 38 years and never had this happen before and we only had the recliner for nine months. She responded by saying she would offer us a repair of our recliner for $189 plus tax. This would only include the replacement of the back with the head cushion. They did agree to replace the seat which was fading for no cost. Imagine paying to have such an expense after only using the recliner for under a year. We received our replacement parts via UPS and had to call Lazy Boy Customer Service to schedule a repair technician. It took an hour just to get off hold and speak to an agent. They scheduled our repair and said we would receive a call a day in advance for our repair. We got the call the evening prior and waited till the repair person called us today the service vehicle broke down which meant we would have to call Lazy Boy Customer Service again. My wife called and she was placed on hold for 2 hours and 10 minutes before she could speak to an agent. She was able to arrange for the repair technician to come and he arrived in the specified time frame. The leather finish is sprayed on and therefore the leather is no longer dyed. The spray finish reacts to anyone’s hair and body oil causing the finish to peel off. This will be the very last Lazy Boy product we ever buy. Apparently they do not care how good a customer nor how long you have bought their products. DO NOT EVER BUY LAZY BOY PRODUCTS. In addition Customer Service Agent # 15 has a bad attitude and should be relieved of her duties. Nasty attitude and seems to hate her job.

Purchased 3 seater material sofa in Nov from SCS. What was delivered was nothing like I sat in on the show room. Felt like a dining room chair, rock solid, upright and hard. Tech fella came out and said made to standard. SCS refused to exchange it. I explained it gave me neck and bad pain as had a spinal injury years ago. The head rest pushed my head forward as so hard. Finally an external upholster took 2 bags of stuffing out the back headrest and after 6 months it's bearable. Please don't purchase one. Horrible and uncomfortable.
Lazy boy service
Worst service ever. Purchased 2 electric recliners 2 years ago. 1 chair has a plastic part broken that my wife explained what was wrong, they told her the part was designed to break so it did not bend metal parts. Tech shows up, looks at chair and said has to order part. Take 2 weeks to get part then will have to reschedule repair. Because he is so busy it could be 1 to 1.5 months. No wonder it takes so long. A part designed to break he should have in stock and he could fix it in 1 trip instead of 2. That way he could save a lot of waisted service time. Be efficient call and talk to customers about problem. If he is any good at his job he could have part when he shows up.
I bought leather LA-Z-Boy sofa 18m ago…
I bought leather LA-Z-Boy sofa 18m ago in the believe it was good quality from SCS Wrong so very wrong finish is peeling off in several places. SCS say (after a £50 additional site visit ) this is due to body oils breaking the finish down as was not a manufacturing fault and that most leather furniture manufacturers use the same method of finishing to obtain the colour ( sprayed on). So what you have is a sofa you cannot use unless you are covered from head to toe or the sofa is completely covered over. AVOID at all costs !!!!!!!.will never buy LA-Z-Boy again or use SCS very poor customer service.

We bought a 3 piece a two piece and a recliner sofa after 1 half years the three picd has started to discolour and when contacted lazy boy they came back and said sofa hadn't been properly cared for. My parents are in there 80s and there is no way a sofa at the amount money was paid for should be discolouring as ours has done. Never again

A little over two years ago my wife and I purchased a new home. In the past we had always purchased at either at American Wharehouse or furniture Row. We spent a bunch of money for the leather furniture we bought , and within 18 months we started to notice that the color on the arms had to started to discolor. We have had leather furniture of various brands for the last 30 years , and never had a problem. When we contacted Lazy Boy , they stated that the problem was caused by body oil and refused to do anything about it. Not sure where we will buy from next time , but I know where we won't buy from.
Probably the worst customer services…
Probably the worst customer services I've experienced.
They fully support the retailers SCS AND the warranty/insurance company. Our advice is choose another brand and retailers.
They also opt outof you reffering them to the ombudsman. In our opinion that suggests they have no confidence in the product.
Finally...read the trustpilot... Reviews you'll get the picture.
Approx £5K La-Z-y Boy suite…
My wife & I bought an approx £5K La-Z-y Boy suite from SCS several yrs ago and regret doing so.
As far as we are concerned the suite is the worst we've ever had. The leather is discolouring & quite frankly there is insufficient cushioning in the seats, I can feel the supports.
The suite was "flattening" & apparently losing its original shape almost from day 1. A guy they sent out to rectify a delivery error told us to sit in different places to even out the wear!
I'm just looking forward to the day when it falls to bits so we can feel justified in purchasing something new.
Suffice to say that these problems remain & we've had to just live with them. The discolouration is slowly getting more widespread. Never again will I even think about purchasing La-Z-Boy from anywhere.
Leather two seater plus one chair
The leather on our suite is very poor quality has worn around were my head rests, I was told this is the oils off my head wearing the leather off, I don't put oil on my hair just to add, the leather also creases very bad after just a few months of buying suite it shows wear.
We had a leather suite from Ikea before this lasted much longer than our Lazy-Boy.
We now have covers over our suite to stop the wear and tear.
I have never felt comfortable sitting on our furniture.

Had a la z boy and had nothing but trouble with it they have sorted it out lots of time and it still looks rubbish never have a la z boy again what a waste of money think twice before you buy one they are bad
made in china says it all
leather single armchair. The leather is painted. YES painted after 6 months pealed on arms and headrest repaired twice in 2 years. I say repaired.. what I mean is repainted. utter rubbish PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY
DONT BUY. Awful
Awful, I wished we had read the reviews before we purchased a lazy boy sofa and 2 chairs costing £5k. So uncomfortable . Doesn’t matter which seat you try you get buttock ache and back ache. We went for the electric recliners thinking we could relax but doesn’t make any difference. We purchased just before lockdown , delivery took place 3 weeks ago. SCS sent a technician out , very arrogant person. He told us to keep our distance whilst he took photos for his report and did not engage with us in anyway shape or form. He walked straight in with size 9 boots onto our expensive all wool carpet. We feel we have been misold this suite as the comfort we experienced in the store is nothing like the suite we received. I have given 1 star for the delivery lads who were marvellous. Very very disappointed .waiting now to see if any redress is offered.
Do not buy a la-z-boy!!
Do not buy a la-z-boy!!! Especially if you have a bad back. This was recommended to me by SCS for a bad back and 12 months on I cannot sit on it. SCS have not had the decency to ring me back after leaving a message and sending emails
