We are so grateful to have Charlie as our boys football coach! From the very first session, it has been clear that he brings not just skill and knowledge of the game, but genuine passion and patience for working with young children. Charlie is an awesome coach, knows how to make learning fun, encouraging every child to try their best while building confidence and football skills and he does this brilliantly.

My son loves going to toddler football training every Saturday, in the few months he’s been going he’s been taught so much! I think it really helps that the sessions aren’t over crowded either, as this was a big problem with a previous company we had tried. My son is always asking when his next football session is and looks forward to it all week!

Charlie is brilliant and with the children. He has patience makes them feel at ease and takes time with every child. He is professional and my child loves him and loves going to his sessions.

Very good, experienced coach — my son looks forward to the session every Saturday. The group isn’t large, so the coach is able to give proper attention to each child.

The quality of the coaching is excellent, and you can really see the effort that goes into every session. The coaches create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment while still focusing on developing their skills, confidence, and teamwork. I would highly recommend to any parent looking for well-run football classes or camps!

There girls were unsure if they would like football but Charlie and his team made them welcome along with the other children .
Great creative session keeps them focused which is hard to do at such a young age .

My son is very shy, and quiet but Charlie has made him come out of his shell so much. He loves his sessions with Charlie, it’s the highlight of his week!

I can’t recommend LCR Sports highly enough! What Charlie is doing there is so good for the kids and the community and for grass roots football!

From the very first session, it was clear how passionate and dedicated the coaches are in helping every child improve and truly enjoy the game. My child looks forward to every training, comes home buzzing with excitement and loves showing off the new skills they’ve learned each week — something I know comes from the coaches’ positive, encouraging style, not just fun drills but real development too. The sessions are well-structured, inclusive, and tailored to each child’s ability, creating a supportive environment where confidence, teamwork, and skill all grow together. Our son has come on leaps and bounds since starting football development sessions with LCR. His confidence, skills and understanding of the game have improved massively and he looks forward to it every week. All of the coaches are very good, supportive and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Charlie and his team to any young footballer.

This football academy is the best in town. I am excited to bring my son very Monday's for his training sessions. The level of interactions with the player is excellent. My son has improved and his conference has grown.

My son Mason looks forward to Monday nights at LCR Gravesend the coaches do an amazing job coaching and installing confidence in all the kids that attend. Classes are fun and you can see all the children are enjoying there sessions.

We couldn’t be happier with this football club for our 8-year-old. The sessions are well organised, fun, and really focused on helping the kids grow in confidence as well as skills. A special mention to Coach Charlie — such a lovely guy, patient, positive, and genuinely focused on the children. He knows how to keep them engaged, motivated, and enjoying football while still learning discipline and teamwork. You can really see the care and passion from the coaches. Highly recommend this club to any parent!
