Horrible (non-existent?) customer support!

About 4 years ago, I purchased a 4-pack of LD Products ink jet cartridges (black plus 3 colors). I had used their products before and was happy with the cartridges and the price. One by one, as the current cartridges in my HP 8615 ran to empty, I replaced them with the waiting LD cartridge. Everything worked great until it was time for the final one which happened to be the black. Initially in kind of worked with a bit of print missing on the edges. Within about 6 pages, the missing part became the entire page. I thought well, they probably won't do anything for me since it's been 4 years, but I went to the website to find out. And what do I see at the top of the page but " Lifetime 100% Satisfaction Guarantee." It turns out, the phone number at the top of the page is worthless. You get into an IVR that says press 2 for new orders and 3 for all else. Press either one, it makes no difference. You get a message that you can request a call back. They never do. If you hold long enough, they force you to record a voice mail. They don't return that either. I wrote one e-mail and got a fairly quick response that the shelf life was only 18 - 24 months. I wrote back and said what about the Lifetime 100% Satisfaction Guarantee? A week+ later I still have no response. I still feel they generally sell a pretty good product for a very attractive price, but if you are not going to honor a satisfaction guarantee, why bother putting that on your site. And if you're not going to answer the phone, why have the number on your site. Absolutely horrible customer service.

Do not buy from this place

Used to be good. No more. I ordered cartridges and received wrong. Called several times no answer. Left voicemail as well as phone number for call back. No response. Also not getting the cartridge with LD products any more. Now it comes with G&G brand.

I have used LD ink cartridges for at least 6 years

I have used LD ink cartridges for several years. In the past, they were mostly very good (I would buy bulk sets and occasionally one would fail, but the price was so good, that I just tossed the bad one). I ordered a bulk set for a new printer on March 2nd. They claim to ship in 4-5 business days. It is now March 23rd, and account says the order is "processing." I have called 4 times to get a status. It just goes to voice mail and says customer service will call me back, I gave gotten zero call-backs. I have emailed 3 times, with no response. I actually was wondering if they were out of business. I now have to go out and buy retail cartridges, since I am out of ink. After reading several reviews, it seems that this is the norm, and I wonder how a company can stay in business with such horrible customer service (and, it seems, poor product quality in many cases). I am amazed that a company can get this many bad reviews and not take decisive action. My recommendation is to only buy if you are willing to gamble with either losing your money, or getting bad quality products.
UPDATED REVIEW 6/12/24:
Never received my order, asked for a refund, and it was promptly put back on my debit card within 2 days. After reading all the bad reviews (esp after December of 2023) regarding both quality and order and fulfillment, I would say there is something terribly wrong with a company that used to be great. I would say potential buyers should not waster their time here unless they are willing to lose their money.

A rip off company

A rip off company. Opened a new printer cartridge I purchased from this joint and it was a used mostly empty cartridge that had been re-packed in a new box and would not even be recognized by my printer. They have 0% quality control.

When I tried to call I can't get through to anyone and their link to send an e-mail is broken. What a company of clowns. Embarrassing.

Placed order for cartridges on…

Placed order for cartridges on 1/3/2024. Never received order. On 1/17/2024 contacted customer service and was told that item was backordered and would be in in 2 weeks. On February 8, 2024 had not received order and tried unsucessfully to contact customer service. Automated operator kept looping. Found another number to call and was left on hold until asked to leave my telephone number for next available agent. Never received a call. Called again on 2/12/2024 and left number again. Just want to know if my cartridges will ever be shipped. Getting fed up with this company, their custoner support and their cartridges have not been very reliable lately.!

If you LOVE print splatters all over…

If you LOVE print splatters all over your pages, if you feel ECSTATIC over misprints, smeared letters, if GARBAGE PRODUCTS really get you 'going', then grab this crap and waste LOTS of time trying to get a decent page print.

We purchased both TONER and DRUM from LD (Lousy -Disgusting) Products, and WHOA !!!!!!! such pure CRAP. Go with those cheap, junky, worthless Chinese 'knock-offs'. They have MUCH better quality than LD (Likely Disaster) Products. Spent more time trying the junk they sent us for HP, Brother, and other printers. ALL of their items are HORRIBLE. Constantly cleaning drum, cartridge, etc., but NO IMPROVEMENT whatsoever. Yep, LD (Luridly Disgraceful) Products is, without a single DOUBT, is the worst excuse for anything related to printing products.

THEN !!! DOZENS of calls to their office to TRY and get any sort of resolution, only to find that Customer Service DOES NOT exist at LD (Lemons - Deplorables) Products. NEVER received a single call-back. PLEASE buy ANYTHING but LD (Lackluster-Dreadful) Products.

WORSE than horrible.

Long time customer.....might come to an end

I have to start with the fact that I ordered these in September '23 but didn't really need to open them until end of November/beginning of December, so I never opened them to check them. There was a good sale at the time that I didn't want to miss.

Moving on.....

I have to agree with most of the reviews that I was scrolling through. I've been ordering from LD for many years. The toners have been wonderful and usually last me almost a full year, even running invoicing and multiple other printing for our business. I usually run out of black the most but when I order, I go ahead and order all 4 colors as a set because it's cheaper. I've had to order replacement toners 3 times in the last year and I've noticed that the colors aren't as vivid. This last black one that I put in, prints almost like a dark gray instead of black.

When the time came for me to finally need to open the box of 4 colors (I needed the black and magenta the most) I found Canon ImageClass MF644 black, cyan, yellow and the magenta was a Brother toner. Of course the magenta because I needed that one the most, as the last toner I bought in July has been printing about a 3/4" line of pink all down the right side of my papers.

I too called the customer service line 3 different times on 3 different days and left messages with a call back number because that's what it automatically prompts you to do. No call back to date. I hate to have to part with this company but it's almost to the point with them that instead of saving money, I may as well just spend the extra at OfficeMax. It's sad because I can get the all 4 color set of toners from LD for the same price of just one black toner at OfficeMax.

The search is on for a new toner replacement company.

Trash like laser printer cartridges sent.

To all the customers DON'T laser printer cartridges from this company. They have been sending the trash to the customers. This company no longer stands what they use to be. I have been buying cartridges from this company but they have been messing up their orders recently. I ordered 5 cartridge package they never shipped. I contacted via email then send me two cartridges and forgot the rest. Sent another message then they send me trash in the mail. Called the so called customer services no one picks their phones at customer service, don't return the phone calls and they don't reply to the emails. I will wait for few more days for them to get back before I file a law suit on this company so that they don't cheat any other customers.

Product never received, and no customer service

I never received the ink cartridges I ordered, and paid for. It's been 11 days since I ordered, my account was charged 10 days ago. I have tried to email, to no avail. I called, and was prompted to wait for return call, or stay on line. I tried the "wait" first, (waited 2 hours), called again, and was on line for over 30 minutes only to get a prompt to leave a message. I need the ink, but with this kind of service, I don't need theirs. I want my money refunded, and if they don't take care of this, I'll have to go through my bank to get it resolved. This is unacceptable business practice. I was finally called by an agent. I explained what had happened, and she checked my account. It turns out, the black ink was on back order. Of course they couldn't bother to email me to let me know. I told her I was planning to make Christmas presents that required printing, and I need ink NOW, so just refund my money. She agreed, and said it would take 3 to 5 business days for it to show up in my account. Unbelievable! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! It's been a nightmare, and now there isn't enough time to get the presents made.
