First time I have used Bells Gardening and I have to say I am impressed, I ordered a rose online, arrived within three working days, absolutely fantastic quality, really strong and healthy with plenty of new healthy growth, unlike many online suppliers the rose was potted in a generous 5 litre pot not bare rooted. The courier service was excellent and provided an accurate text informing me when delivery was expected with a 1 hour time slot. The plant was packaged really well with bamboo spacers in the box to prevent the pot from moving around and damaging the plant and the pot was sealed with polythene to prevent spillage of the compost and to retain moisture. All in all a fantastic buying experience and I Highly recommend them, I will definitely be using them again.

I ordered from this company 3 weeks ago and nothing has been delivered yet. I also emailed them 3 times with no response so far, tracking system is telling me nothing either. Don't waste your money if I could give no stars I would.
When I opened my plants I just thought - excellently packed
I wanted to write a review because the package of plants I received for my order was actually the best packaging of plants I’ve ever received. In contrast to many other plant outlets from which I’ve purchased plants, the thought to the packaging and arrangement was excellent and deserves complimenting. The box was strong, two layers of plants were well separated, the soil was dry (I note the prior review but for me this was a good thing) which for a next day delivery is perfect as the box and packaging doesn’t get all soggy. The plants I bought (Nepeta) were the best value for 2l pot size I could find on the internet (most places were charging only a little less for a 9cm pot). The reason for only 4 stars was that I received a text message from Sue at Bells saying they didn’t have two of the items I’d ordered and they’d substitute if that was ok (which it was). However, that was then followed by another text saying that they would “check in the morning” and then another message that that message wasn’t for me. To be fair, I did reply ‘no problem’ (to the point about the message not being for me) but it turns out I suspect the message was actually meant for me as the order contained two substituted pants. Not an issue as I was happy with that but the communication via text was a little confusing.
Useless inappropriate plant packaging and poor complaint resolving
Received a total mess of a box with dry as a bone soil meaning the totally unsecured plants were just in one big heap of loose soil, plant and empty pots. Plus wrong variety sent. Surprisingly unhelpful and doubting when emailed. I gave up eventually and will just have to put it down to experience - it's too much hassle during lockdown to return items such as plants.
