First, the idea 💡 of me investing in gold & Silver was born during watching Judge Napolitano- A man I respect and trust.
Second, I called the number and spoke with Darious Steel but. I found him to be an honest man with integrity. This coupled with immense knowledge about the market and about his products, gave me courage to make the move.

Everything, afterwards went smoothly and sit was promised. I am pleased I took the decision.

Lear Capital requested additional information in response to my original review, which I provided promptly and in full. I updated this review on 12/29/25 to reflect that I was awaiting a response.

Since that time, Lear Capital has provided no substantive response addressing the core issue: I explicitly requested 4 ounces of gold, but was sold four 20-gram gold bars totaling 2.572 ounces, while being charged an amount consistent with approximately 4 full ounces of gold, without clear disclosure or explanation.

I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau on 1/12/26 and have likewise received no response. Instead, Lear Capital sent an unrelated $50 promotional fee check (not cashed) and a letter stating my metals transfer was “finalized,” despite this discrepancy remaining unresolved.

I am a retired, inexperienced investor who explicitly relied on Lear Capital’s guidance. The lack of transparency, failure to respond in writing, and avoidance of the documented pricing and quantity discrepancy raise serious concerns about Lear Capital’s sales practices.

This matter remains unresolved.

I am a retired, inexperienced investor who explicitly told my Lear Capital representative that I did not know what I was doing and needed help and patience.

On 12/1/25, I transferred approximately $20,000 from my retirement account into a precious-metals IRA through Lear Capital. I specifically requested 4 ounces of gold, with remaining funds used for silver.

After reviewing the original email sent by Lear Capital that summarized what I had “purchased,” I realized that I was not sold 4 ounces of gold. Instead, I was sold four 20-gram (0.643 oz) gold bars, totaling only 2.572 ounces of gold, yet charged $17,080.72, which is consistent with pricing for approximately 4 full ounces.

I did not understand this at the time due to my inexperience and reliance on my representative’s guidance. I was also discouraged from reviewing my Equity Trust custodian account and told to rely solely on Lear Capital’s information. I did not receive a clear explanation of fractional gold pricing, premiums, or the immediate financial impact of this substitution.

After discovering the discrepancy, I requested all communications and documentation in writing. As of today, I have received no response.

This experience has been extremely distressing, particularly given my age, inexperience, and reliance on their guidance.
