Lease End submitted hard inquiries w/o consent

Lease End submitted hard inquiries to auto finance lenders before I even moved forward with my application. They had my information but I had never spoken to anyone nor did I give approval to move forward. I changed my mind. And I asked them to remove my PII and obviously they did not. Now I have a D rating for my hard inquiries on my credit reports with the bureaus. I do not trust this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience—we understand how concerning unexpected credit inquiries can feel, and we’re sorry for the frustration this caused.

Based on our records, your information was submitted through our secure web application, where consent is required before proceeding. As part of that process, authorization is provided for Lease End and its lending partners to obtain credit reports in order to evaluate financing options. This consent is clearly disclosed at the point of submission, including authorization for credit inquiries and sharing your application with lenders .

That said, we take concerns like yours seriously. If you believe something occurred outside of your expectations, we would welcome the opportunity to review your specific situation in detail and ensure everything was handled appropriately—including confirming your data has been removed as requested.

I was dreading going into the…

I was dreading going into the dealership to buy the lease. I know I would have been there for hours dealing with them trying to get me into a new car.

My credit union with the lease also offered me an incredibly Bogus rate.

Mercedes made this process easy and got me an insanely low rate through a great bank.

I’m glad I took a leap of faith with this company and let them handle the processes for me.

They honestly saved me so much time.

Great experience …

This was our first time using Lease End. We were presented with several options for ending our lease. We were able to choose what worked for us. We couldn’t be happier with the service. Everything was taken care of quickly and efficiently. The representative was friendly and so helpful. We would highly recommend Lease End when choosing to buy out a car lease.

For anyone who has NOT been through this lease buyout process, I was impressed with how simple it was. I have to give a shout out to Cameron Clark, the agent who helped me through everything. Granted I knew there would be some paperwork involved, license, registration, insurance, lease terms... but it went so much easier than I imagined. A couple of pictures of the docs and I was all set. I was able to negotiate the auto loan terms that I wanted and was happy to buy out the lease. My residual lease value was thousands less than the current price of the car, that I would be foolish not to! Thanks for the help!!!

You rock, Lease End!

I was skeptical at first. However, they sent me some mail letters and decided to call them. I'm thankful I did. They were able to negotiate with Capital One to not just match but beat the rate from local credit union without the hassle of the DMV. It was a quick and easy experience, I would recommend them to anyone. The only thing to be aware of is that when they pulled your credit, there will be 3-4 inquiries. Understandable since they are trying to get you the best offer. They are a dealer as well, so they will try to sell you warranties. It's up to you though. I went with gap. Only fees were sale taxe, registration, title. I promised the salesman, if he got me a good rate, he would would get a review from me. Honestly, I would have give them a review anyways, it will be the easiest car you have bought!

2026 lease end experience

I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but this experience was genuinely disappointing.

While there are some positive reviews out there, my interaction with the Lease End team was the opposite of professional. The issue centered around the manager, Jason, who was unable to clearly explain why my mileage was required before providing a buyout quote. He insisted it “makes no difference,” yet refused to explain the purpose and became visibly irritated when I asked for clarification.

For context, this is the first time I’ve ever been asked to provide mileage before receiving a buyout quote. When I questioned the necessity—especially given there doesn’t appear to be any legal requirement for this in New Jersey—I was met with defensiveness. He emphasized his 17 years of experience and abruptly stated he didn’t like where the conversation was going.

Shortly after, I was told they would not be able to assist me and that I should go back to a local dealership—apparently at his sole discretion.

Overall, a very poor experience. The only positive was a polite representative I initially spoke with, but unfortunately, that interaction ultimately led me to Jason.

Consider speaking with your local dealership prior to dealing with this place.

Convenient but costly

Convenient and reliable but hidden costs are a catch. They make almost $500 profit by processing your title and registration for you. I'm almost sure they bump the actual interest rate they got from banks before passing it to you..

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Lease End understands that transparency around fees and financing terms is important, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a couple of points.

The $324 title and registration processing fee reflects the actual cost required for Lease End and its processing partners to handle the paperwork, compliance filings, and coordination with state DMVs. These processes vary widely by state and require both internal staff and specialized third-party services to ensure titles and registrations are completed correctly and efficiently.

Regarding financing, Lease End does not increase or “bump” interest rates provided by lenders. Drivers are presented with financing options from approved lenders based on credit qualifications and lender underwriting. Our role is to help Drivers compare and complete those options while managing the payoff, title, and registration process on their behalf.

Lease End’s mission is “The Only Loved End-of-Lease Experience,” and we aim to deliver that through transparency, efficiency, and respect for every Driver we work with.

If you ever have questions about fees or financing details, our team is always happy to walk through the numbers step-by-step.
