Dishonest regarding delivery…

Dishonest regarding delivery timeframes. On ordering it stated up to 5 days. After not hearing anything after that time, I emailed to chase. They replied giving me a delivery date FOUR WEEKS in the future. No apology, no acknowledgement that this might have been a nasty surprise for me. Awful customer experience.

My last orders from Lechuza UK has been…

My last orders from Lechuza UK has been quite frankly awful and extremely stressful and disappointing, from having the Lechuza pons delivered with torn bags and pon all out in the box to ordering stocks saying available in stock with 24hrs delivery, to receiving emails informing me that same order was out of stock , and giving a 7% discount, which in monetary terms is a mere £2 and change, why they’d think this is acceptable is beyond comprehension.. I am extremely disappointed..

They hugely mislead on product lead times.

As per the comments below.
Website says in stock 3-5 days delivery
All German based and stocked in warehouse.
3 days later I received an email saying now 5-6 weeks.
I have paid over £500 for 4 large pots.
I would not have ordered if the delivery was 5-6 weeks.
Based on comments below this is their standard practice to mislead customers.
I have requested a refund
Avoid.

Terrible Customer Service and Missing Part - Avoid This Company

I bought a Lechuza self-watering pot on Amazon, expecting quality, but it arrived without the water level indicator. Frustrated, I called Amazon, who only offered to send a completely new pot as a replacement. Since I had already filled the pot with soil and planted, replacing it wasn't an option—it would be a huge hassle to redo everything.

Hoping to resolve this, I reached out directly to Lechuza's customer service, and things went from bad to worse. The representative was incredibly rude and told me to "just deal with Amazon," flatly refusing to address the missing part issue. I calmly explained the situation, but the customer service agent was dismissive and unprofessional. When I used a minor swear word from my native language (something casual that most people wouldn’t take offense to), they used it as an excuse to hang up on me.

Lechuza’s customer service left me feeling ignored, dismissed, and disrespected. I’ve never experienced such a lack of support and basic courtesy. If you’re considering purchasing a Lechuza product, beware. The product might be good if it arrives complete, but if you need support, don’t expect any decent customer service. Avoid at all costs!

"Misleading Stock Information and Unacceptable Delays – Avoid This Company"

"Availability in the UK: "In Stock"
All deliveries are made from the UK warehouse."

Anyone ordering from this company should know that the above text is displayed against just about every product they have.

The problem is, it is a lie.

Almost nothing is in stock in the UK and I'd go as far as to suggest that it is probably not even manufactured, given that they claim it will take 5 weeks to arrive.

To claim their products are "in stock," when what they really mean is "sitting in a warehouse in Germany, or possibly not even manufactured" is misleading and unacceptable.

Had I known the actual lead time, I wouldn’t have placed the order in the first place. The fact that they can’t display accurate delivery information on their website is ridiculous for e-commerce in 2024. Instead, they wait until after you’ve placed your order to inform you of the extensive delay.

I’m beyond disappointed with Lechuza. I’ve canceled my order and will not be doing business with a company that deliberately misleads its customers.

If honesty and reliability matter to you, look elsewhere.

GOOD BYE LECHUZA !!

I have bought a lot of Lechuza planters, but NO MORE !! They need to treat the customers properly and respect. I made an order on the 01//07/2024 thinking that they had the product in hand only to find out they took the money FIRST, than told me there is a wait of 20days for the product excluding weekend ! That makes it 27 days !! Now I was told I will not get them before the 6th and 7th of August !! They should have told me before they took the money that they cannot deliver the goods in time , than I decide if I want to buy them or not. I will never again buy anything else from them again, and with this treatment to customers, it will not be long before they lose their customer.

Excellent

Excellent. Haven’t used the communications but ordering and delivery are great. Made up with the planters too.
