"I was hired for a full-stack development project through this platform. I completed the work as agreed, delivered the full source code, and the client confirmed receipt. Shortly after, the client filed a chargeback/dispute on the payment that had already been released, and then became completely unreachable — no response to messages, project closed, no further contact.
I'd advise other freelancers to be cautious: use escrow-protected milestones, avoid releasing full source code before final payment is confirmed and the dispute window has passed, and keep all communication on-platform for evidence.
Sharing this so others don't go through the same experience."
