welp, first things first, the initial quote of 3100 to move my home fro ny to tx, was great. till they came and I had to leave most of my home behind because my 3100 quote was for only one of my rooms in my house. I sent an inventory list ahead of time making sure to keep count of everything. with a 1700 deposit, it was supposed to be 700 at pick up and 700 and drop off. as they were loading the truck every little thing added seem to make to charges go up by the inch. from 3100, we went up double. things that were in inventory were left behind. we were giving a free 30 day storage, which I let them know that we will need to extend till the 29th a extra month maybe. we'll on august 12th I got a call to pay 1200 immediately, because it should've been paid upfront. mind you. after numerous emails, I never got a call, text or respond via email of the new pricing for the extension. he said it $1 per cub ft. what 1200for less then a month of storage. and that was very unprofessional to call and demand money and tell me its my fault I didn't call and get the new pricing. they are very busy!! I am also busy a mother of three, just moved out of state. staying in BnB, our first inspection failed I had been working to extend our stay. once I couldn't extend we had to live in car for a while till I could get my family in hotel. mind you still no respond about the extension of storage. from bib to hotel, feeding and keeping three children safe, trying to get them in school, medical and more. im busy also, and why should the client be calling to get the required info. I have never heard of paying $1200 for less then a month of storage, I asked for my receipt before they left he said he left it on my counter. It wasn't there. if I can estimate my charges with the 1700 deposit, the additional 2200 added when picking up our stuff, the another 1200 for storage then the charge of 2500 to get it out of storage is almost 10,000. is sickening. here it is 2 weeks before I've worked everyday to save the money to get our stuff, im afraid I won't get it. and ill be paying another 1200 for the following month. I am still waiting for e-mails to get a response.

So many problems. The move itself went well, but the company that Legacy contracted with Upscale Moving damaged a number of items including a table top. They have offered us under $60 for reimbursement, but it has been 9 months and we have yet to even see this check. Find another company to use

1 star: Failure to provide service. They failed to fulfill our contract which lead to me losing my deposit. None of my items were moved at all. I reached out to the company and They Blocked! My phone number along with other phone numbers I attempted to call from. I've wait days for replies and now they have also Refused to answer emails. In reality, they have stole my deposit. Horrible business. My advice? Don't use this company ever.

Further elaboration on expectations: They will lie about scheduling a truck. They will Revoke all forms of communication. They will respond to this comment with false a impression of their business archetype. Believe me, the continuous negative reviews say it all. Good luck finding honest movers.

Legacy Moving Group told significant lies to get me to pay a deposit. The sales rep told me that his company owned the moving truck and crew that would be picking up my items. My items were supposed to be moved from point A to point B on the same truck. After I signed the contract and paid a massive deposit, they turned around and sold my contract to another moving company!

This new company had an F rating with the BBB, and their plan was to move my items to a warehouse, keep them in storage for weeks, and then move them to my new location - a totally different plan from what the sales rep told me.

This new plan was not at all acceptable, so I canceled my contract, but Legacy has refused to refund my deposit, despite the fact that they blatantly lied in order to get me to pay it.

Moving is a stressful time, and these heartless fiends will take advantage of you in your most vulnerable state, telling you lies to get you to pay a deposit, and then screwing you once they have your money.

[EDIT: The company’s reply that they don’t know who I am is false. They have my money and they refuse a refund. Maybe it is industry standard to store goods in a warehouse, but that’s not what the company sold me. The sales rep (Anthony) told me it would be a direct shipment, and the company owes me a refund for not delivering what was promised.]

This is the worse company I have ever ever ever worked with in my life Anthony is full of crap will set you up and breach a contract just to pass you to the worse of the worse community crap lines I mean van lines. Where they then will mess up all your furniture, and have people working under the table to destroy it even more. Use anyone but here.

If you are considering using Legacy Moving Group to move you - DO NOT DO IT!!!! RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. This is a broker and you absolutely CANNOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY!! I was lied to repeatedly by everyone I talked to. They refuse to return calls and texts. The only thing they care about is stealing your money. Scott, Nowai, Chris and most of all Dillon lied blatantly and intentionally. Save yourself a lot of grief and stress- find a reputable moving company and deal directly with them!!!!

I would not recommend this Company. I booked them to move me after a fire in my building. There was an asbestos contamination in the building after the fire but all the hallways we were going to use as well as my apartment had been cleaned, tested and certified by CDPHE to be asbestos free. They showed up late and expressed concerns over the asbestos contamination. I offered to take them to the office to show them the paperwork from the state, but they refused to even come see it and just took off, leaving me stranded. Oh and they kept my deposit. Horrible service! Please do not use. They think they are too good for the job.

I have not moved in over 20 years. Jesus & David we’re on time, professional, worked extremely hard. My move was reasonably priced, efficient, and seamless. I recommend them highly.

Don’t bother with legacy moving group.

They don’t actually do the move. They are a reseller. They’re very responsive and helpful initially. They tell you all the great discounts they can give you on terrifs, and storage fees versus the big name companies then collect half the money down. After that they will completely ghost you. The moving company they sub it out to shows up and they have all new terrif rates and storage rates ( which for me were literally double). If you, don’t sign the new quoted prices they will leave. I tried contacting legacy but the movers who showed up basically stated “it doesn’t matter what they quote. If you don’t sign this now, we leave”. Maybe that’s okay for an local move. You may have time to find another company but for an out of state move with time lines you’re basically held hostage at that point.

Any further attempts to contact Chris or chad at legacy were unanswered. They had my deposit, sold the move to another company and then ghosted any issues and responsibilities to their customers.

Legacy moving group is a broker. They did not make this known upon booking their services. We were quoted a 3k move from NY to FL. They underestimated our move even though we supplied SEVERAL photos showing what we were moving. When the movers showed up they quoted me $7,000!!!!!!!!!!
Unprofessional, unwilling to help. DO NOT book anything with them. I wish I did more research prior to booking.

I had a wonderful experience with Legacy Moving Group. I needed help packing up my 10 x 10 storage unit into a smaller container that would later be shipped by a different company. The two movers I had were on time, worked quickly and took good care of my belongings. They went above and beyond to make everything fit in the container. Legacy Moving Group also had better pricing than other companies. Plus they were very responsive over email for the booking. Overall a great experience. I'm super grateful for their great work.

I had 3 moving guys which includes the foreman. They arrived on time and worked in a timely manner and were super professional. They packed up all the items neatly and efficiently. The packing crew genuinely cared about doing a great job and were so thoughtful and helpful.

Upon arrival at the drop off location they could not have been more courteous and respectful.

Do not use this company! They are dishonest and do care about you and your belongs, just about getting paid. We are a military family and moved many times and never had any problems, until we used Legacy Moving Group. WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER, DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Anyone but them!!!!

Look at other sites for reviews! This company originally gave us a quote and under estimated to get us to book. Two days before, we gave them the same inventory with one less couch and bedroom set and it increased $3,000 dollars! They increased the tariff per sq cubic foot as well.
"Anthony" from legacy was unprofessional and this company is unethical.

Moving to a new location and storing your stuff is a tremendous undertaking. You should consider where and with whom you would place your faith. On the other hand, Legacy Moving Group is a one-of-a-kind company. This business delivers amazing service and is really dependable! Job well done overall!

Legacy contracts another company to conduct your move so essentially the contract you sign with legacy is nonexistent; the contracted company has their own rules, rates, and will nickel and dime you. Using Legacy is a BAD decision. Once you sign, they throw you to the dogs. I had so many complaints from the moment the movers showed up. I contacted legacy immediately. Kyle passed my email to Christopher who did nothing (over and over again).

In all my years and many moves, the behavior by the drivers and owner MANNY was unprofessional and unacceptable. I gave the drivers $150 extra when they picked up my things but I guess they saw that as a "she can pay" moment. Ultimately they put my stuff in a storage which I was told " 30 days was included" yet in the end, (4 days later) they held my stuff hostage until I paid an additional fee. Keep in mind that this was the fourth time that I was told by the driver (Anthony) that I would be charged extra for something that was included in the contract. When I finally gained access, they refused to assist in moving my things to my storage (feet away) because the sorry sub-par owner said "they don't work for free". It's rather comical since they were contracted to put them into my storage. So essentially this job was NEVER completed. They are all working together to defraud customers. Save yourself the constant headache, and phone calls by using someone else. The owner also called me with a child screaming and hollering in the background. When I mentioned it, he was clearly upset and said it was his "family time". Family time is okay but when you decide to conduct business during that time, the professional thing to do is step outside or to a quiet area. Anthony told me to call his company directly when I was ready to move from storage to my new home--- I wouldn't call them to move my dog! Did I mention (Anthony) also insinuated that the area where my storage is located is paying big bucks? The audacity... Throw the entire company away!
Know who you are dealing with. Hire a company that does no contract your move out to a 2nd or 3rd party but actually does the move themselves. Anthony, Kyle, and Charlie moved us from Boston to Milwaukee about a month ago. They did great! They were careful, respectful, and communicated if they had questions or concerns. They got the job done and took A LOT of stress off of myself and my family during these hard times. Thank you guys so much for doing such a great job for us.
