I was a little weary about buying a " will kit " it was very easy to fill out, now the only way that i'll know if it was efficient is after my death, so i guess i'll never know.

Very straight forward and easy to follow the instructions and also very comprehensive and thorough.

The layout of the questions is easy to understand and makes the process of having a will in place very simple. If your will is straightforward, legalwills.ca is the way to go!

Costco recently had a deal for Executive Members where they could sign up with Legal Wills for a discount price. My wife and I already had holographic wills, but wanted to get something more official which could prevent any issues for our kids in the event that something unexpected happened to either of us. We signed up for the lifetime plan since it gives you unlimited changes to your wills for slightly less than double the price of the 1 year plan - so it's a no brainer. The steps to create a will are very straightforward using their wizard and takes roughly 30 mins to an hour to complete depending on what you want to specify as your wishes. After that, all that's needed is the signatures of 2 adults as witnesses and your own signature on the paperwork. For anyone who doesn't have witnesses near them, there's a 3rd party service at the time of writing which is offered for an additional fee to witness your document digitally. Overall, great experience, and extremely affordable $225 CAD vs $500 ~ $1500 for a lawyer.
