For the people on our case we have been very happy. Always responding when asked and their portal is a good way to track the initial set up and progress. Where relationships matter, they have built some strong ones and even when things get stressful (as they will because it’s not simple!) they keep calm and handle their stuff...

Lack of comms, lack of action, lack of commitment, lack of empathy, lack of understanding.
Am currently trying to buy and sell with legalzoom after having had them recommended and am supremely frustrated and not a little annoyed by their inability to answer simply queries, reply to voicemails (when they have them switched on), get correct info to you (inc. contracts and financial statements) and generally respond to calls made (after you've waited anything up to 35 minutes for someone to answer!)
Have had an agreed 'very latest date to complete' date for over a month with barely any tasks left to do and legalzoon has somehow contrived, despite repeated warnings from me and my buyer's solicitor, to miss the deadline to exchange and consequently complete.
Nobody will talk to me (other than the ladies who you eventually default to); nobody is telling me what is happening. Have escalated it first to team leader and then above and although having received a couple of emails promising action and contact, this has resulted in absolutely nothing but further silence and no progress.
My portal which should show progress made has not been kept up to date for the last two months (in fact the sale side of it relates to the wrong sale) and despite reporting this to a team leader two weeks ago it has not been rectified.
Thanks to legalzoom, my buyers will be homeless come Monday evening (they have served notice on their rented home) and have to be out. Also, all of our removal plans (time off work booked / van hire / storage units / help from friends and relatives) have all gone to pot thanks to their inability to follow a simple instruction that we need to complete by this date.
Was advised by email first thing last Thursday that my file was in the process of being signed off and as of last time I managed to get through and talk to anyone (late yesterday (Monday) afternoon), it was still waiting to be signed off - nearly 3 working days later.
Have had only two nominated handlers but I seem to have got most progress and comms when my current handler has been on holiday and one of four others who handled queries and work on their behalf during that time have been looking after me.
It was a chance mention of my mortgage by me during a conversation with one of these other four handlers that received a 'What mortgage?' response from them, which should have told me I was onto a bad thing. By then, six weeks into the process and hoping to complete in another two, and your conveyancer has got no info about your mortgage (despite telling them about it at the very outset), should make you very uncomfortable.
I see lots of 5 star reviews on Trust Pilot for legalzoom which makes me feel even worse than I already do - I suggest if you're a gambler, ask them to handle your home move - you might get lucky.

Even though most things were done online or by email I have to say that the service we got was excellent. Emails were responded to promptly and when needed they were there on the phone for more urgent cases. As far as solicitors go with buying and selling houses Legalzoom were the best I have used.

I received excellent support and advice. My purchase was completed in a couple of months which was totally different to previous services from other solicitors.

This is the second time I have used Legal Zoom, the first time for selling a property and on this occasion for an auction purchase! Rebecca Smith has been my assigned solicitor on both occasions and along with her team have really pulled the stops out to get to completion in really quick time. The first property took 8 weeks to complete and the auction purchase completed in 4 weeks exactly from the date I viewed the property! Will definitely be using Legal Zoom again, I can highly recommend using Legal Zoom!

We used Legalzoom for the purchase of our first home and were looked after by Joseph Millar. We were very pleased with their service throughout and would highly recommend them. Their quote came out as one of the cheapest when compared to others, and in a house purchase, all these costs add up so they were very good value. Our estate agents tried to warn us about using cheaper solicitors but this was also with the intention of trying to sell us their own solicitors who were quoting almost double for the conveyancing!

We had to chase up a few times just to see how progress was going, but all in all we very more than happy with Legalzoom and would use them again in future.

Legalzoom handled our house sale and purchase. It was all very easy with an online hub to track progress and communication with our designated solicitor was excellent. We completed our move within 6 weeks and all went very smoothly. Would definitely recommend.
