I moved half van load from the UK to Brussels in June 2023. Once my stuff arrived in Brussels i realised that packed frames with paintings were missing; followed up and they responded saying:'we sincerely apologise please fill in the claim form', which i did. Out of the blue and a month later, they informed me that they have found some paintings in Nice, France and wondered if they were mine (!). Once i confirmed, they said they will deliver them whenever (!!). Four months later and constant chasing still havent received my paintings and when they decided to respond they asked me again to fill in the claim form. Great customer service, right?

We moved from Germany to the UK. Legend Removals was competent in handling the situation. Their driver and packer were fast but very careful with our stuff. Nothing was damaged and it was cheaper than all other offers we had gotten.

Only use for non valuable or non fragile items
First off I would like to say that this company seems to get 1 star or 5 stars which is bizarre. I know the rep said most of the contracts he had got either had big problems or none.
On our case, needless to say, I have 2 email chains back and forth of 40 emails plus, and also a WhatsApp chain with their rep. This should show how much chasing has to be done. If anybody wants the chains I will send them.
The one star, wish I could have given a half is for their price. They are cheap.
They only let you know 48 hours before both collection and delivery dates. Not very reassuring when you have a chain reliant on moving dates.
The sales guy was fantastic, probably a bit too amazing, getting us a quote, admittedly it took 3 days, based on photos WhatsApped to him. We were told that their guys packed brilliantly to within an inch of the life of our objects. This could account why so many arrived dead (smashed in laymen's terms)
Even though we gave 2 weeks notice of the date we were moving into our new property, our stuff arrived nearly 2 weeks after moving in. Luckily there was already living room furniture and beds here otherwise we would have been sitting and sleeping on floors,
When making a claim on our smashed items we were told that our values were too much and that we hadn't properly declared the value of all our items. They had clear detailed photos of everything and I went for the cover advised by their rep. We were then advised on the form there would be a £200 excess and would we still like to progress with our claim. Sounds like they wanted us not to proceed.
I could go on with how things were packed etc but I don't want to bore you more.
Needless to say that their rep said he was appalled by what had happened and that he would first get a director to ring, and when this didn't happen, to get a director to email which also didn't happen. Btw when I got a directors email address he never replied. The rep btw has stopped answering my messages.
This company seems to have workers who work excess hours and not enough people to do the job, packing therefore seems rushed.
Btw I don't want an insincere apology from management of legend unless it's to discuss compensation. Proper compensation. Not just for damages but also massive stress and inconvenience.

DO NOT USE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!. Great sales consultant gave confidence but things went rapidly downhill once I had signed and paid. Impossible to get them to answer the phone to answer simple questions like when will my items be collected.
I stressed that I wanted direct delivery from pickup to delivery address. Legend insist on a 3 day window for pickup and say that delivery can take up to 10 days. when I questioned this I was told it was due to customs processes and beyond their control. The reality was that my good went straight through customs but is still took 15 days for about 85% of my goods to arrive and a further 3 days for the remainder. Once they have your money and your goods you drop to the bottom of the priorities list and your precious p[possessions are dumped into some store so crews can go and pick up other poor unsuspecting victims goods!.
Many expensive items were badly damaged through a lack of due care and attention to protecting the goods. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PROTECTING YOUR ITEMS OR YOUR REQUIRED PICKUP AND DELIVERY DATES. Crews work excessive (probably illegal) hours and drive vehicles of a size that do not legally require tachographs so driving hours cannot be checked for regulation's compliance. Drivers are not allowed to use motorways in Europe because the company is too stingy to pay the tolls and drivers have to sleep in the van cabs!
THIS IS A HIGHLY UNPROFESIONAL ORGANISATION WHICH HAS NO IDEA ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!

My delivery arrived finally . Should have been 6-10 days and now almost a month. Should have been a direct trip from uk to Spain but my stuff was unloaded and stored in the UK for weeks. The delivery driver did not know which was my stuff as it was loaded off a larger lorry on its way somewhere else . So a quote for a whole van to Spain in under 10 days ended up a month and storage and loading and unloading which was not agreed.
I have started a small claims in the UK for the farce of a service that thy could not supply me with .
TV was broken but accidents can happen I suppose.
As with all the other reviews. They certainly talk the talk in their replies . But it is not the reality. Using excuses
Unforeseen incidences as an excuse . A contract which exempts them from all liability in lateness. Incidents as an excuse , it’s busy, it’s a prime time . Excuse after excuse 🤷🏻♂️.
Oh and just for a laugh follow your AirTags . This will be updated if and when my delivery arrives
I have used many many removals over the past 15 years and a single collection with a price for a full van should be and has been an easy task, not a part load a full van . Maybe they will use the excuse it moves from van to van to trailer to wagon, who knows, but I was priced a full van.
Then giving them the flexibility of 2 weeks to deliver if they wanted . Plenty of time for normal companies to deliver including any logistical errors .
Please take heed from all the reviews and if you want on time , don’t use this company
The timescales given are just lies to get you to pay . Then weeks later we still have no goods arrived and are told it’s busy time ( seems a usual response )

Communication was the key to our moving…
Communication was the key to our moving experience. Once I had booked the company through Elena who was, indeed, very helpful, Jay was the key communicator. We had a collection window which did change but between us we ironed out any issues through regular communication. With long distance house moving there will always be occasional unforeseen circumstances. I must admit, not knowing the actual date in advance was stressful but in the end it all worked out well. The two Viktors who turned up on our doorstep in a small French village in their 90m cube lorry were friendly and cheerful. The other helpers who were employed locally were equally as friendly and cheerful. The loading was done quickly and efficiently. The unloading was not so easy as the huge lorry was unable to access our new home in UK and the workers had to unload half an hours' drive away and deliver our things in smaller lorries. But once again, they were friendly, cheerful and efficient. We met Viktor again and Serge and I forget the younger guy's name but he was super efficient and "on the ball"! (So sorry i forgot your name!) Moving is stressful. All our stress was in the build-up to the lorry arriving for our goods - the "not knowing". This is where communication is so important. Once the men arrived we felt confident that everything would be ok and it was. Thank you LEGEND! I would highly recommend you but please communicate early with your customers and reassure them. They WILL NOT deliver your goods on time! Like previous customers stated, their 1-4 delivery timeframe is a lie! Every time I contact them to enquire about my belongings as it is now been over 10 days, they change the delivery window AGAIN. My children and I have really suffered through this experience and I’m losing hope that I’ll see my goods at all, and if I do, what condition they will be in. PLEASE AVOID at all costs. I should have stuck with my instincts and used the same moving company my sister used, who delivered her things from London to Paris within 3 days with absolutely no issues. Paying a cheaper price doesn’t pay!

negative experience and long delivery time
I booked Legend Removals to move from the UK to Germany.
The agent assigned to me told me that my delivery will take max a week. On the website, they promise a delivery in 1-4 days, stating that they allow up to 14 days for unforeseen circumstances. My delivery took 26 days. I was told that the delay was due to busy summer days. However this is something that can be anticipated in advance.
When the delivery was finally scheduled to take place on a Monday, on that Monday it was moved to Tuesday, then to Wednesday and then to Thursday. In some cases, I was only informed of the delivery date change a few hours prior to the delivery window.
Finally, there were troubles with customs that I at the end had to sort out. In this regard I have been poorly advice and instead was met with high unprofessionalism.
I want to highlight that I understand that services such as the one Legend Removals offers have to deal with many uncertainties. However, the issues encountered in my case go beyond this and could certainly be avoided.
Update:
I have emailed Legend Removals after their reply below with my complain again and have referenced this review. They have still not replied to me. Their reply to my post are simply empty promises. Really disappointing!

Excellent communication and professional company
This is the second time in the space of six months I have used this company, this time from UK to Spain. Jamie was great to deal with and answered my numerous calls/WhatsApp’s without delay.
Each department of Legend removals were professional throughout, from accounts to logistics, and trying to locate the odd missing box. A particular shoutout to Natalya who provided reassurance and a plan B option which was needed.
I will definitely use Legend Removals again.
A couple of suggestions I would like to make for the company.
1) As another review has said, I was under the impression two men would deliver the goods (as two men packaged it up in the UK) but my contract said 1 man, so I had to speak with Legend and confirm/check that two people would deliver my items. Perhaps, make this a bit clearer.
2) Perhaps a gentle automatic calendar reminder about filling in the customs sheet and when the invoice is due to be paid. I know the onus is down to me but we all have busy lives and a text or email reminder would have reminded me to complete this tasks.
